| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to read arbitrary files on the underlying file system of the device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient file scope limiting. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a specific file reference on the file system and then accessing it through the web-based management interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read arbitrary files from the file system of the underlying operating system.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to inject arbitrary commands on an affected system and cause a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to improper input validation of user-supplied input to the device template configuration. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted input to the device template configuration. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition on the affected system.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |

| A vulnerability in the access control list (ACL) processing in the egress direction of Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass a configured ACL.
This vulnerability exists because certain packets are handled incorrectly when they are received on an ingress interface on one line card and destined out of an egress interface on another line card where the egress ACL is configured. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by attempting to send traffic through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass an egress ACL on the affected device.
For more information about this vulnerability, see the section of this advisory.

| The ObjectSerializationDecoder in Apache MINA uses Java’s native deserialization protocol to process
incoming serialized data but lacks the necessary security checks and defenses. This vulnerability allows
attackers to exploit the deserialization process by sending specially crafted malicious serialized data,
potentially leading to remote code execution (RCE) attacks.
This issue affects MINA core versions 2.0.X, 2.1.X and 2.2.X, and will be fixed by the releases 2.0.27, 2.1.10 and 2.2.4.
It's also important to note that an application using MINA core library will only be affected if the IoBuffer#getObject() method is called, and this specific method is potentially called when adding a ProtocolCodecFilter instance using the ObjectSerializationCodecFactory class in the filter chain. If your application is specifically using those classes, you have to upgrade to the latest version of MINA core library.
Upgrading will not be enough: you also need to explicitly allow the classes the decoder will accept in the ObjectSerializationDecoder instance, using one of the three new methods:
/**
* Accept class names where the supplied ClassNameMatcher matches for
* deserialization, unless they are otherwise rejected.
*
* @param classNameMatcher the matcher to use
*/
public void accept(ClassNameMatcher classNameMatcher)
/**
* Accept class names that match the supplied pattern for
* deserialization, unless they are otherwise rejected.
*
* @param pattern standard Java regexp
*/
public void accept(Pattern pattern)
/**
* Accept the wildcard specified classes for deserialization,
* unless they are otherwise rejected.
*
* @param patterns Wildcard file name patterns as defined by
* {@link org.apache.commons.io.FilenameUtils#wildcardMatch(String, String) FilenameUtils.wildcardMatch}
*/
public void accept(String... patterns)
By default, the decoder will reject *all* classes that will be present in the incoming data.
Note: The FtpServer, SSHd and Vysper sub-project are not affected by this issue. |
| MaxKB is an open-source AI assistant for enterprise. Prior to versions 1.10.9-lts and 2.0.0, a Remote Command Execution vulnerability exists in the MCP call. Versions 1.10.9-lts and 2.0.0 fix the issue. |
| A vulnerability was found in TOTOLINK A3002R and A3002RU 3.0.0-B20230809.1615/4.0.0-B20230531.1404. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /boafrm/formTmultiAP of the component HTTP POST Request Handler. The manipulation of the argument submit-url leads to buffer overflow. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| A vulnerability was found in CodeCanyon RISE Ultimate Project Manager 3.8.2 and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /index.php/team_members/save_profile_image/ of the component Profile Picture Handler. The manipulation of the argument profile_image_file leads to improper control of resource identifiers. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| cpp-httplib is a C++ header-only HTTP/HTTPS server and client library. Prior to version 0.20.1, the library fails to enforce configured size limits on incoming request bodies when `Transfer-Encoding: chunked` is used or when no `Content-Length` header is provided. A remote attacker can send a chunked request without the terminating zero-length chunk, causing uncontrolled memory allocation on the server. This leads to potential exhaustion of system memory and results in a server crash or unresponsiveness. Version 0.20.1 fixes the issue by enforcing limits during parsing. If the limit is exceeded at any point during reading, the connection is terminated immediately. A short-term workaround through a Reverse Proxy is available. If updating the library immediately is not feasible, deploy a reverse proxy (e.g., Nginx, HAProxy) in front of the `cpp-httplib` application. Configure the proxy to enforce maximum request body size limits, thereby stopping excessively large requests before they reach the vulnerable library code. |
| A vulnerability in Cisco Intelligent Node (iNode) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to hijack the TLS connection between Cisco iNode Manager and associated intelligent nodes and send arbitrary traffic to an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to the presence of hard-coded cryptographic material. An attacker in a man-in-the-middle position between Cisco iNode Manager and associated deployed nodes could exploit this vulnerability by using the static cryptographic key to generate a trusted certificate and impersonate an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read data that is meant for a legitimate device, modify the startup configuration of an associated node, and, consequently, cause a denial of service (DoS) condition for downstream devices that are connected to the affected node. |
| A vulnerability in the SIP call processing function of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper parsing of SIP messages. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted SIP message to an affected Cisco Unified CM or Cisco Unified CM SME device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition that interrupts the communications of reliant voice and video devices. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based interface of Cisco Webex Teams could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
The vulnerability is due to improper validation of usernames. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating an account that contains malicious HTML or script content and joining a space using the malicious account name. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and potentially gain access to sensitive browser-based information.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
