CVSS v3.1 |
| A Cross Site Scripting vulnerability in Microworld Technologies eScan Management console v.14.0.1400.2281 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a vulnerable parameter GrpPath. |
| TP-Link Archer AX10(EU)_V1.2_230220 was discovered to contain a buffer overflow via the function FUN_131e8 - 0x132B4. |
| When Firefox is configured to block storage of all cookies, it was still possible to store data in localstorage by using an iframe with a source of 'about:blank'. This could have led to malicious websites storing tracking data without permission. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 115. |
| DO NOT USE THIS CANDIDATE NUMBER. ConsultIDs: none. Reason: This candidate was withdrawn by its CNA. Further investigation showed that it was not a security issue. Notes: none. |
| Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. The `SniHandler` can allocate up to 16MB of heap for each channel during the TLS handshake. When the handler or the channel does not have an idle timeout, it can be used to make a TCP server using the `SniHandler` to allocate 16MB of heap. The `SniHandler` class is a handler that waits for the TLS handshake to configure a `SslHandler` according to the indicated server name by the `ClientHello` record. For this matter it allocates a `ByteBuf` using the value defined in the `ClientHello` record. Normally the value of the packet should be smaller than the handshake packet but there are not checks done here and the way the code is written, it is possible to craft a packet that makes the `SslClientHelloHandler`. This vulnerability has been fixed in version 4.1.94.Final. |
| MechanicalSoup is a Python library for automating interaction with websites. Starting in version 0.2.0 and prior to version 1.3.0, a malicious web server can read arbitrary files on the client using a `<input type="file" ...>` inside HTML form. All users of MechanicalSoup's form submission are affected, unless they took very specific (and manual) steps to reset HTML form field values. Version 1.3.0 contains a patch for this issue. |
| snappy-java is a fast compressor/decompressor for Java. Due to use of an unchecked chunk length, an unrecoverable fatal error can occur in versions prior to 1.1.10.1.
The code in the function hasNextChunk in the fileSnappyInputStream.java checks if a given stream has more chunks to read. It does that by attempting to read 4 bytes. If it wasn’t possible to read the 4 bytes, the function returns false. Otherwise, if 4 bytes were available, the code treats them as the length of the next chunk.
In the case that the `compressed` variable is null, a byte array is allocated with the size given by the input data. Since the code doesn’t test the legality of the `chunkSize` variable, it is possible to pass a negative number (such as 0xFFFFFFFF which is -1), which will cause the code to raise a `java.lang.NegativeArraySizeException` exception. A worse case would happen when passing a huge positive value (such as 0x7FFFFFFF), which would raise the fatal `java.lang.OutOfMemoryError` error.
Version 1.1.10.1 contains a patch for this issue. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in watchOS 9.6, macOS Monterey 12.6.8, iOS 15.7.8 and iPadOS 15.7.8, macOS Big Sur 11.7.9, iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6, macOS Ventura 13.5. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. |
| When choosing a site-isolated process for a document loaded from a data: URL that was the result of a redirect, Firefox would load that document in the same process as the site that issued the redirect. This bypassed the site-isolation protections against Spectre-like attacks on sites that host an "open redirect". Firefox no longer follows HTTP redirects to data: URLs. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 114. |
| The error page for sites with invalid TLS certificates was missing the
activation-delay Firefox uses to protect prompts and permission dialogs
from attacks that exploit human response time delays. If a malicious
page elicited user clicks in precise locations immediately before
navigating to a site with a certificate error and made the renderer
extremely busy at the same time, it could create a gap between when
the error page was loaded and when the display actually refreshed.
With the right timing the elicited clicks could land in that gap and
activate the button that overrides the certificate error for that site. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 102.12, Firefox < 114, and Thunderbird < 102.12. |
| An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the OAS Engine authentication functionality of Open Automation Software OAS Platform v18.00.0072. A specially crafted network sniffing can lead to decryption of sensitive information. An attacker can sniff network traffic to trigger this vulnerability. |
| A permissions issue was addressed with improved redaction of sensitive information. This issue is fixed in macOS Ventura 13.4, tvOS 16.5, iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5, watchOS 9.5. An attacker may be able to leak user account emails. |
| Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in GitHub repository plantuml/plantuml prior to 1.2023.9. |
| An improper input validation vulnerability exists in the OAS Engine User Creation functionality of Open Automation Software OAS Platform v18.00.0072. A specially crafted series of network requests can lead to unexpected data in the configuration. An attacker can send a sequence of requests to trigger this vulnerability. |
| Improper Access Control in GitHub repository plantuml/plantuml prior to 1.2023.9. |
| Doorkeeper is an OAuth 2 provider for Ruby on Rails / Grape. Prior to version 5.6.6, Doorkeeper automatically processes authorization requests without user consent for public clients that have been previous approved. Public clients are inherently vulnerable to impersonation, their identity cannot be assured. This issue is fixed in version 5.6.6. |
| OpenPrinting CUPS is a standards-based, open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Starting in version 2.0.0 and prior to version 2.4.6, CUPS logs data of free memory to the logging service AFTER the connection has been closed, when it should have logged the data right before. This is a use-after-free bug that impacts the entire cupsd process.
The exact cause of this issue is the function `httpClose(con->http)` being called in `scheduler/client.c`. The problem is that httpClose always, provided its argument is not null, frees the pointer at the end of the call, only for cupsdLogClient to pass the pointer to httpGetHostname. This issue happens in function `cupsdAcceptClient` if LogLevel is warn or higher and in two scenarios: there is a double-lookup for the IP Address (HostNameLookups Double is set in `cupsd.conf`) which fails to resolve, or if CUPS is compiled with TCP wrappers and the connection is refused by rules from `/etc/hosts.allow` and `/etc/hosts.deny`.
Version 2.4.6 has a patch for this issue. |
| SABnzbd is an open source automated Usenet download tool. A design flaw was discovered in SABnzbd that could allow remote code execution. Manipulating the Parameters setting in the Notification Script functionality allows code execution with the privileges of the SABnzbd process. Exploiting the vulnerabilities requires access to the web interface. Remote exploitation is possible if users[exposed their setup to the internet or other untrusted networks without setting a username/password. By default SABnzbd is only accessible from `localhost`, with no authentication required for the web interface. This issue has been patched in commits `e3a722` and `422b4f` which have been included in the 4.0.2 release. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should ensure that a username and password have been set if their instance is web accessible. |
| Use after free in Guest View in Google Chrome prior to 114.0.5735.198 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Use of password hash instead of password for authentication vulnerability in SonicWall GMS and Analytics allows Pass-the-Hash attacks. This issue affects GMS: 9.3.2-SP1 and earlier versions; Analytics: 2.5.0.4-R7 and earlier versions. |
