CVE-2023-54120 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: Fix race condition in hidp_session_thread There is a potential race condition in hidp_session_thread that may lead to use-after-free. For instance, the timer is active while hidp_del_timer is called in hidp_session_thread(). After hidp_session_put, then 'session' will be freed, causing kernel panic when hidp_idle_timeout is running. The solution is to use del_timer_sync instead of del_timer. Here is the call trace: ? hidp_session_probe+0x780/0x780 call_timer_fn+0x2d/0x1e0 __run_timers.part.0+0x569/0x940 hidp_session_probe+0x780/0x780 call_timer_fn+0x1e0/0x1e0 ktime_get+0x5c/0xf0 lapic_next_deadline+0x2c/0x40 clockevents_program_event+0x205/0x320 run_timer_softirq+0xa9/0x1b0 __do_softirq+0x1b9/0x641 __irq_exit_rcu+0xdc/0x190 irq_exit_rcu+0xe/0x20 sysvec_apic_timer_interrupt+0xa1/0xc0
CVE-2023-54121 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix incorrect splitting in btrfs_drop_extent_map_range In production we were seeing a variety of WARN_ON()'s in the extent_map code, specifically in btrfs_drop_extent_map_range() when we have to call add_extent_mapping() for our second split. Consider the following extent map layout PINNED [0 16K) [32K, 48K) and then we call btrfs_drop_extent_map_range for [0, 36K), with skip_pinned == true. The initial loop will have start = 0 end = 36K len = 36K we will find the [0, 16k) extent, but since we are pinned we will skip it, which has this code start = em_end; if (end != (u64)-1) len = start + len - em_end; em_end here is 16K, so now the values are start = 16K len = 16K + 36K - 16K = 36K len should instead be 20K. This is a problem when we find the next extent at [32K, 48K), we need to split this extent to leave [36K, 48k), however the code for the split looks like this split->start = start + len; split->len = em_end - (start + len); In this case we have em_end = 48K split->start = 16K + 36K // this should be 16K + 20K split->len = 48K - (16K + 36K) // this overflows as 16K + 36K is 52K and now we have an invalid extent_map in the tree that potentially overlaps other entries in the extent map. Even in the non-overlapping case we will have split->start set improperly, which will cause problems with any block related calculations. We don't actually need len in this loop, we can simply use end as our end point, and only adjust start up when we find a pinned extent we need to skip. Adjust the logic to do this, which keeps us from inserting an invalid extent map. We only skip_pinned in the relocation case, so this is relatively rare, except in the case where you are running relocation a lot, which can happen with auto relocation on.
CVE-2023-54122 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dpu: Add check for cstate As kzalloc may fail and return NULL pointer, it should be better to check cstate in order to avoid the NULL pointer dereference in __drm_atomic_helper_crtc_reset. CVE-2023-54124 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix to drop all dirty pages during umount() if cp_error is set xfstest generic/361 reports a bug as below: f2fs_bug_on(sbi, sbi->fsync_node_num); kernel BUG at fs/f2fs/super.c:1627! In this case, to avoid deadloop in f2fs_wait_on_all_pages(), it needs to drop all dirty pages rather than redirtying them.

CVE-2023-54130 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hfs/hfsplus: avoid WARN_ON() for sanity check, use proper error handling Commit 55d1cbbbb29e ("hfs/hfsplus: use WARN_ON for sanity check") fixed a build warning by turning a comment into a WARN_ON(), but it turns out that syzbot then complains because it can trigger said warning with a corrupted hfs image. The warning actually does warn about a bad situation, but we are much better off just handling it as the error it is. So rather than warn about us doing bad things, stop doing the bad things and return -EIO. While at it, also fix a memory leak that was introduced by an earlier fix for a similar syzbot warning situation, and add a check for one case that historically wasn't handled at all (ie neither comment nor subsequent WARN_ON).

Otherwise they will be lost. In this case an AUTOFS_IOC_EXPIRE_MULTI ioctl is done, then a new waitqueue struct is allocated in autofs_wait(), its initial wait_ctr equals 2. After that wait_event_killable() is interrupted (it returns -ERESTARTSYS), so that 'wq->name.name == NULL' condition may be not satisfied. Actually, this condition can be satisfied when autofs_wait_release() or autofs_catatonic_mode() is called and, what is also important, wait_ctr is decremented in those places. Upon the exit of autofs_wait(), wait_ctr is decremented to 1. Then the unmounting process begins: kill_sb calls autofs_catatonic_mode(), which should have freed the waitqueues, but it only decrements its usage counter to zero which is not a correct behaviour. edit:imk This description is of course not correct. The umount performed as a result of an expire is a umount of a mount that has been automounted, it's not the autofs mount itself. They happen independently, usually after everything mounted within the autofs file system has been expired away. If everything hasn't been expired away the automount daemon can still exit leaving mounts in place. But expires done in both cases will result in a notification that calls autofs_wait_release() with a result status. The problem case is the summary execution of of the automount daemon. In this case any waiting processes won't be woken up until either they are terminated or the mount is umounted. end edit: imk So in catatonic mode we should free waitqueues which counter becomes zero. edit: imk Initially I was concerned that the calling of autofs_wait_release() and autofs_catatonic_mode() was not mutually exclusive but that can't be the case (obviously) because the queue entry (or entries) is removed from the list when either of these two functions are called. Consequently the wait entry will be freed by only one of these functions or by the woken process in autofs_wait() depending on the order of the calls. end edit: imk

RestrictedPython is a tool that helps to define a subset of the Python language which allows to provide a program input into a trusted environment. Via a type confusion bug in versions of the CPython interpreter starting in 3.11 and prior to 3.13.2 when using `try/except*`, RestrictedPython starting in version 6.0 and prior to version 8.0 could be bypassed. The issue is patched in version 8.0 of RestrictedPython by removing support for `try/except*` clauses. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2023-54135 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: maple_tree: fix potential out-of-bounds access in mas_wr_end_piv() Check the write offset end bounds before using it as the offset into the pivot array. This avoids a possible out-of-bounds access on the pivot array if the write extends to the last slot in the node, in which case the node maximum should be used as the end pivot. akpm: this doesn't affect any current callers, but new users of mapletree may encounter this problem if backported into earlier kernels, so let's fix it in -stable kernels in case of this.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vfio/type1: fix cap_migration information leak Fix an information leak where an uninitialized hole in struct vfio_iommu_type1_info_cap_migration on the stack is exposed to userspace. The definition of struct vfio_iommu_type1_info_cap_migration contains a hole as shown in this pahole(1) output: struct vfio_iommu_type1_info_cap_migration { struct vfio_info_cap_header header; /* 0 8 */ __u32 flags; /* 8 4 */ /* XXX 4 bytes hole, try to pack */ __u64 pgsize_bitmap; /* 16 8 */ __u64 max_dirty_bitmap_size; /* 24 8 */ /* size: 32, cachelines: 1, members: 4 */ /* sum members: 28, holes: 1, sum holes: 4 */ /* last cacheline: 32 bytes */ }; The cap_mig variable is filled in without initializing the hole: static int vfio_iommu_migration_build_caps(struct vfio_iommu *iommu, struct vfio_info_cap *caps) { struct vfio_iommu_type1_info_cap_migration cap_mig; cap_mig.header.id = VFIO_IOMMU_TYPE1_INFO_CAP_MIGRATION; cap_mig.header.version = 1; cap_mig.flags = 0; /* support minimum pgsize */ cap_mig.pgsize_bitmap = (size_t)1 << __ffs(iommu->pgsize_bitmap); cap_mig.max_dirty_bitmap_size = DIRTY_BITMAP_SIZE_MAX; return vfio_info_add_capability(caps, &cap_mig.header, sizeof(cap_mig)); } The structure is then copied to a temporary location on the heap. At this point it's already too late and ioctl(VFIO_IOMMU_GET_INFO) copies it to userspace later: int vfio_info_add_capability(struct vfio_info_cap *caps, struct vfio_info_cap_header *cap, size_t size) { struct vfio_info_cap_header *header; header = vfio_info_cap_add(caps, size, cap->id, cap->version); if (IS_ERR(header)) return PTR_ERR(header); memcpy(header + 1, cap + 1, size - sizeof(*header)); return 0; } This issue was found by code inspection.
CVE-2023-54139 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing/user_events: Ensure write index cannot be negative The write index indicates which event the data is for and accesses a per-file array. The index is passed by user processes during write() calls as the first 4 bytes. Ensure that it cannot be negative by returning -EINVAL to prevent out of bounds accesses. CVE-2023-50433 2026-04-15 6.5 Medium
marshall in dhcp_packet.c in simple-dhcp-server through ec976d2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by sending a malicious DHCP packet. The crash is caused by a type confusion bug that results in a large memory allocation; when this memory allocation fails the DHCP server will crash.
CVE-2023-50434 2026-04-15 9.8 Critical
emdns_resolve_raw in emdns.c in emdns through fbd1eef calls strlen with an input that may not be '\0' terminated, leading to a stack-based buffer over-read. This can be triggered by a remote adversary that can send DNS requests to the emdns server. The impact could vary depending on the system libraries, compiler, and processor architecture. Code before be565c3 is unaffected.

CVE-2023-54142 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gtp: Fix use-after-free in __gtp_encap_destroy(). syzkaller reported use-after-free in __gtp_encap_destroy(). [0] It shows the same process freed sk and touched it illegally. Commit e198987e7dd7 ("gtp: fix suspicious RCU usage") added lock_sock() and release_sock() in __gtp_encap_destroy() to protect sk->sk_user_data, but release_sock() is called after sock_put() releases the last refcnt. CVE-2025-46572 1 Auth0 1 Passport-wsfed-saml2 2026-04-15 N/A
passport-wsfed-saml2 provides passport strategy for both WS-fed and SAML2 protocol. A vulnerability present starting in version 3.0.5 up to and including version 4.6.3 allows an attacker to impersonate any user during SAML authentication by crafting a SAMLResponse. This can be done by using a valid SAML object that was signed by the configured IdP. Users are affected specifically when the service provider is using passport-wsfed-saml2 and a valid SAML document signed by the Identity Provider can be obtained. Version 4.6.4 contains a fix for the vulnerability.
CVE-2025-40315 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_fs: Fix epfile null pointer access after ep enable. A race condition occurs when ffs_func_eps_enable() runs concurrently with ffs_data_reset(). The ffs_data_clear() called in ffs_data_reset() sets ffs->epfiles to NULL before resetting ffs->eps_count to 0, leading to a NULL pointer dereference when accessing epfile->ep in ffs_func_eps_enable() after successful usb_ep_enable(). The ffs->epfiles pointer is set to NULL in both ffs_data_clear() and ffs_data_close() functions, and its modification is protected by the spinlock ffs->eps_lock. And the whole ffs_func_eps_enable() function is also protected by ffs->eps_lock. Thus, add NULL pointer handling for ffs->epfiles in the ffs_func_eps_enable() function to fix issues
CVE-2025-46573 1 Auth0 1 Passport-wsfed-saml2 2026-04-15 N/A
passport-wsfed-saml2 provides passport strategy for both WS-fed and SAML2 protocol. A vulnerability present starting in version 3.0.5 up to and including version 4.6.3 allows an attacker to impersonate any user during SAML authentication by tampering with a valid SAML response. This can be done by adding attributes to the response. Users are affected specifically when the service provider is using `passport-wsfed-saml2` and a valid SAML Response signed by the Identity Provider can be obtained. Version 4.6.4 contains a fix for the vulnerability.
