CVE-2026-90204 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: validate DIO orphan slot during inode read [BUG] A corrupted append-DIO dinode (high byte at offset 0xa1 corrupted from 0 to 1) can carry an i_dio_orphaned_slot outside the mounted filesystem slot range and trigger a use-after-free error: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in ocfs2_get_system_file_inode+0x780/0x820 fs/ocfs2/sysfile.c:102 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88800b767c00 by task kworker/u8:3/85 Call Trace: ... ocfs2_get_system_file_inode+0x780/0x820 fs/ocfs2/sysfile.c:102 ocfs2_wipe_inode+0x292/0xf70 fs/ocfs2/inode.c:840 ocfs2_delete_inode fs/ocfs2/inode.c:1155 [inline] ocfs2_evict_inode+0x6c9/0x1170 fs/ocfs2/inode.c:1295 evict+0x38e/0x8f0 fs/inode.c:810 iput_final fs/inode.c:1914 [inline] iput fs/inode.c:1966 [inline] iput+0x55b/0x8b0 fs/inode.c:1926 ocfs2_recover_orphans+0x610/0xe40 fs/ocfs2/journal.c:2374 ocfs2_complete_recovery+0x5af/0xd00 fs/ocfs2/journal.c:1373 ... [CAUSE] ocfs2_del_inode_from_orphan() uses i_dio_orphaned_slot to index the slot-local system inode cache. The dinode validator does not check this active slot, so an out-of-range value produces an invalid cache entry pointer that is dereferenced as an inode pointer. [FIX] Reject an active i_dio_orphaned_slot outside the slot range during dinode validation, before DIO orphan recovery can consume it.
CVE-2026-90205 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: validate orphan slot during inode read Patch series "ocfs2: validate active orphan slots during inode read". OCFS2 trusts active ordinary and append-DIO orphan slots read from dinodes. A corrupted slot can therefore index osb_orphan_wipes or the slot-local system-inode cache outside their allocations before the corruption is reported. Patch 1 validates the ordinary orphan slot used by inode wipe processing. Patch 2 validates the append-DIO orphan slot used by DIO completion and orphan recovery. Both checks reject corrupt metadata at the existing inode validation boundary. This patch (of 2): [BUG] A corrupted dinode with OCFS2_ORPHANED_FL can carry an i_orphaned_slot outside the mounted filesystem slot range. ocfs2_wipe_inode() uses it to index osb_orphan_wipes before looking up the orphan directory, causing an out-of-bounds memory access. BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in ocfs2_get_system_file_inode+0x780/0x820 fs/ocfs2/sysfile.c:102 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88800b767c00 by task kworker/u8:3/85 Call Trace: ... ocfs2_get_system_file_inode+0x780/0x820 fs/ocfs2/sysfile.c:102 ocfs2_wipe_inode+0x292/0xf70 fs/ocfs2/inode.c:840 ocfs2_delete_inode fs/ocfs2/inode.c:1155 [inline] ocfs2_evict_inode+0x6c9/0x1170 fs/ocfs2/inode.c:1295 evict+0x38e/0x8f0 fs/inode.c:810 iput_final fs/inode.c:1914 [inline] iput fs/inode.c:1966 [inline] iput+0x55b/0x8b0 fs/inode.c:1926 ocfs2_recover_orphans+0x610/0xe40 fs/ocfs2/journal.c:2374 ocfs2_complete_recovery+0x5af/0xd00 fs/ocfs2/journal.c:1373 ... [CAUSE] ocfs2_validate_inode_block() validates i_suballoc_slot but leaves the active ordinary orphan slot unchecked. Downstream consumers assume that the value is smaller than osb->max_slots. [FIX] Reject an active i_orphaned_slot outside the slot range during dinode validation, before the inode reaches orphan wipe processing.
CVE-2026-90206 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet: fix max_qid race between configfs and controller allocation The function nvmet_subsys_attr_qid_max_store() can race against nvmet_alloc_ctrl() when a subsystem's max_qid limit is modified. Suppose max_qid is currently 64. If nvmet_alloc_ctrl() executes: ctrl->sqs = kzalloc_objs(struct nvmet_sq *, subsys->max_qid + 1); and at this exact point, a userspace process changes max_qid to 128, nvmet_subsys_attr_qid_max_store() will set the new max_qid value. It attempts to delete active controllers to force a reconnect, but the new controller won't be deleted because it hasn't been added to the subsys->ctrls list yet. nvmet_alloc_ctrl() then proceeds and adds the new controller to the subsys->ctrls list. Later, when nvmet_install_queue() is called, it will see max_qid set to 128, but the memory allocated for sqs is only sized for 64 entries. This results in a KASAN out-of-bounds warning and potential memory corruptions. Fix this by protecting the queue allocations and list insertion in nvmet_alloc_ctrl() with down_read(&nvmet_config_sem). Because nvmet_subsys_attr_qid_max_store() acquires down_write(&nvmet_config_sem) to modify the attribute, this safely prevents the configfs writer from modifying max_qid during controller creation. Copy the max_qid from the subsystem to the controller's structure during the allocation; ctrl->max_qid never changes as long as the controller remains in LIVE state, so this will prevent similar race conditions.
CVE-2026-90208 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clocksource/drivers/samsung_pwm: Switch to raw_spinlock_t type Samsung PWM timer might be used as a clock source on some legacy systems. When PREEMPT_RT is enabled on ARM, regular spinlock is converted to a sleeping lock (mutex-based), which must not be used in atomic context such as hard interrupt handlers. Switch the samsung_pwm_lock to the raw_spinlock, which remains a true non-sleeping spinlock even under PREEMPT_RT.
CVE-2026-90210 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix UAF in bpf_trampoline_multi_attach_free on update failure When bpf_trampoline_update() fails before modify_fentry_multi()/ unregister_fentry_multi() is called, cur_image is unchanged (cur_image == old_image) and ftrace still calls into it. Freeing old_image in that case causes a UAF. Only free old_image when it differs from cur_image.
CVE-2026-90262 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: retry verity reads for not-uptodate Merkle folios btrfs_read_merkle_tree_page() can find a folio in the mapping that is not uptodate. After taking the folio lock, the current code treats that state as a read error and returns -EIO. That can make a previous transient read failure sticky. If the failed read left a not-uptodate folio in the mapping, later callers find that folio and fail instead of retrying the read. Keep the existing page-cache insertion and locking order, but retry the Merkle item read when a not-uptodate folio is found in the mapping. Also unlock the folio when read_key_bytes() fails so that a later caller can lock it and retry the read.
CVE-2026-90263 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: check if root is readonly when setting posix acl For a filesystem which has btrfs read-only property set to true, all write operations including acl and xattr should be denied. However, acl can still be set even if btrfs ro property is true. This happens because no function on the set_acl code path checks the root is readonly or not. It was checked in btrfs_setxattr_trans() but got removed in commit 353c2ea735e4 ("btrfs: remove redundant readonly root check in btrfs_setxattr_trans") That commit didn't check if all the callers properly check the root's read-only flag. A previous fix is commit b51111271b03 ("btrfs: check if root is readonly while setting security xattr"). Always check if the root is read-only before performing the set acl operation.
CVE-2026-92970 1 Hubzero 1 Hubzero-cms 2026-09-19 8.8 High
HUBzero CMS through 2.2.32 contains a path traversal vulnerability in project file upload handlers that allows authenticated project members to write arbitrary files outside the project repository. Attackers can supply traversal sequences in upload parameters to write files to attacker-chosen paths with web server privileges, potentially enabling code execution.
CVE-2026-92944 1 Patriksimek 1 Vm2 2026-09-19 9.8 Critical
vm2 versions 3.10.2 through 3.11.6 contain a sandbox escape vulnerability on Node.js 26 where Promise.prototype.finally() bypasses vm2's wrapper protections due to a stale PromiseThenLookupChain protector in V8 14.6. Attackers can exploit this by creating an async function that returns a Promise with an attacker-controlled constructor Symbol.species, allowing them to reach the host Function constructor and process object for arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2026-92938 1 Patriksimek 1 Vm2 2026-09-19 9.9 Critical
vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose Node.js's host node:sqlite module to code running in NodeVM when that builtin is permitted, either explicitly or through builtin: ['*']. The module is wrapped with vm.readonly(), which prevents property assignment but leaves host-authority callables reachable; in addition, the resolver treats any request starting with 'node:' as a core-module request and the runtime strips only one 'node:' prefix, so a sandbox request for 'node:node:sqlite' resolves to the configured node:sqlite entry. Sandboxed code can therefore create an in-memory DatabaseSync with extension loading enabled and call DatabaseSync.loadExtension() on a native library bundled in the untrusted plugin package (path derived from __dirname). SQLite loads the library into the Node.js host process and invokes its native entry point, giving the sandboxed plugin arbitrary native code execution outside the sandbox with the host process's privileges. The issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.7.
CVE-2026-92933 1 Patriksimek 1 Vm2 2026-09-19 5.8 Medium
vm2 is a sandbox for running untrusted Node.js code. In versions <= 3.11.7, NodeVM exposes the host `util` module to the sandbox as an unfiltered shallow copy (`Object.assign({}, util)` in `defaultBuiltinLoaderUtil`), and the deprecated `sys` builtin (an alias of host `util`) is exposed through the generic builtin loader. On Node.js >= 22.9 this hands sandboxed code `util.getCallSites()`, a programmatic stack-introspection API that returns the host process's full call stack, including absolute file paths, function names, and line numbers for vm2 bridge internals and the embedding application's entrypoint. This bypasses the host-frame redaction introduced for GHSA-v27g-jcqj-v8rw, which only applies to the `Error.prepareStackTrace` formatting channel. The issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.8.
CVE-2026-92917 1 Getgrav 1 Grav 2026-09-19 7.5 High
Grav is a flat-file CMS. In versions 2.0.0-rc.1 through 2.0.21, the Twig content sandbox fails to restrict the dump and serialize filters (print_r, vardump, json_encode, yaml_encode, string): GravExtension::assertSandboxDumpSafe() determines sandbox state by calling SandboxExtension::isSandboxed() without a Source argument, which reports only the global sandbox flag that Grav never enables, so the guard added in GHSA-mc5q-6hpj-rp7j never executes. As a result, an authenticated user with page-edit rights can render {{ config|print_r }} in page content with Twig processing enabled and dump Grav's entire merged configuration — print_r reflects the real Config object held in a private property of the SandboxConfig facade, bypassing its path redaction — exposing plugin secrets such as SMTP credentials, API tokens, webhook secrets and cache backend passwords. Grav 1.7 is not affected because it ships no Twig content sandbox. The issue is fixed in 2.0.22, where the affected filters are registered with Twig's needs_is_sandboxed flag.
CVE-2026-92912 1 Wwbn 1 Avideo 2026-09-19 6.5 Medium
AVideo through c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 uses cryptographically weak uniqid() values for RTMP publish keys in LiveTransmition, reducing key entropy to approximately one million possibilities per creation second. Attackers who know the channel creation time can brute-force the five-digit microsecond component to forge valid stream keys and broadcast content as the channel owner.
CVE-2026-92860 1 Rcourtman 1 Pulse 2026-09-19 9.1 Critical
A security flaw has been discovered in rcourtman Pulse up to 6.0.4/6.1.0-rc.4. Affected by this issue is the function fmt.Sprintf of the file /api/security/quick-setup of the component Quick Security Setup Handler. The manipulation of the argument Username results in improper input validation. The attack may be performed from remote. Upgrading the affected component is advised.
CVE-2026-87796 2 Sh1zen, Wordpress 2 Multi Uploader For Gravity Forms, Wordpress 2026-09-19 9.8 Critical
The Multi Uploader for Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.9 via the move_file function. This is due to insufficient file type validation during chunked upload handling. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
