CVSS v3.1 |
| path-sanitizer is a simple lightweight npm package for sanitizing paths to prevent Path Traversal. Prior to 3.1.0, the filters can be bypassed using .=%5c which results in a path traversal. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0. |
| Certain models of D-Link wireless routers have a path traversal vulnerability. Unauthenticated attackers on the same local area network can read arbitrary system files by manipulating the URL. |
| Boa web server - CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') |
| Path traversal for some Intel(R) Extension for Transformers software before version 1.5 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| A vulnerability in allegroai/clearml version v2.0.1 allows for path traversal due to improper handling of symbolic and hard links in the `safe_extract` function. This flaw can lead to arbitrary file writes outside the intended directory, potentially resulting in remote code execution if critical files are overwritten. |
| dialect/mod.rs in the libsql-sqlite3-parser crate through 0.13.0 before 14f422a for Rust can crash if the input is not valid UTF-8. |
| An incomplete fix has been identified for CVE-2025-23084 in Node.js, specifically affecting Windows device names like CON, PRN, and AUX.
This vulnerability affects Windows users of `path.join` API. |
| Saltcorn is an extensible, open source, no-code database application builder. A logged-in user with any role can delete arbitrary files on the filesystem by calling the `sync/clean_sync_dir` endpoint. The `dir_name` POST parameter is not validated/sanitized and is used to construct the `syncDir` that is deleted by calling `fs.rm`. This issue has been addressed in release version 1.0.0-beta16 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in Linknat VOS Manager versions prior to 2.1.9.07, including VOS2009 and early VOS3000 builds, that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the server. The vulnerability is accessible via multiple localized subpaths such as '/eng/', '/chs/', or '/cht/', where the 'js/lang_en_us.js' or equivalent files are loaded. By injecting encoded traversal sequences such as '%c0%ae%c0%ae' into the request path, attackers can bypass input validation and disclose sensitive files. |
| A directory traversal vulnerability exists in Linksys router's web interface (tested on the E1500 model firmware versions 1.0.00, 1.0.04, and 1.0.05), specifically in the /apply.cgi endpoint. Authenticated attackers can exploit the next_page POST parameter to access arbitrary files outside the intended web root by injecting traversal sequences. This allows exposure of sensitive system files and configuration data. |
| Due to directory traversal vulnerability in SAP S/4HANA (Bank Communication Management), an attacker with high privileges and access to a specific transaction and method in Bank Communication Management could gain unauthorized access to sensitive operating system files. This could allow the attacker to potentially read or delete these files hence causing a high impact on confidentiality and low impact on integrity. There is no impact on availability of the system. |
| An issue in VPL Jail System up to v4.0.2 allows attackers to execute a directory traversal via a crafted request to a public endpoint. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Averta Phlox Portfolio allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects Phlox Portfolio: from n/a through 2.3.1. |
| The Ultimate Video Player WordPress & WooCommerce Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 10.0 via the content/downloader.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. |
| Model Context Protocol Servers is a collection of reference implementations for the model context protocol (MCP). Versions of Filesystem prior to 0.6.4 or 2025.7.01 could allow access to unintended files in cases where the prefix matches an allowed directory. Users are advised to upgrade to 0.6.4 or 2025.7.01 resolve. |
| iniNet Solutions SpiderControl SCADA PC HMI Editor has a path traversal
vulnerability. When the software loads a malicious ‘ems' project
template file constructed by an attacker, it can write files to
arbitrary directories. This can lead to overwriting system files,
causing system paralysis, or writing to startup items, resulting in
remote control. |
| @jmondi/url-to-png is an open source URL to PNG utility featuring parallel rendering using Playwright for screenshots and with storage caching via Local, S3, or CouchDB. Input of the `ImageId` in the code is not sanitized and may lead to path traversal. This allows an attacker to store an image in an arbitrary location that the server has permission to access. This issue has been addressed in version 2.1.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

| Path traversal vulnerability in “getAllFolderContents” function of Common Service Desktop, a GE HealthCare ultrasound device component |
| Wasmer is a web assembly (wasm) Runtime supporting WASIX, WASI and Emscripten. If the preopened directory has a symlink pointing outside, WASI programs can traverse the symlink and access host filesystem if the caller sets both `oflags::creat` and `rights::fd_write`. Programs can also crash the runtime by creating a symlink pointing outside with `path_symlink` and `path_open`ing the link. This issue has been addressed in commit `b9483d022` which has been included in release version 4.3.2. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| org.gaul S3Proxy implements the S3 API and proxies requests. Users of the filesystem and filesystem-nio2 storage backends could unintentionally expose local files to users. This issue has been addressed in version 2.6.0. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
