CVE-2020-6830 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2024-08-04 7.5 High
For native-to-JS bridging, the app requires a unique token to be passed that ensures non-app code can't call the bridging functions. That token was being used for JS-to-native also, but it isn't needed in this case, and its usage was also leaking this token. This vulnerability affects Firefox for iOS < 25.
CVE-2020-6814 3 Canonical, Mozilla, Redhat 6 Ubuntu Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 3 more 2024-08-04 9.8 Critical
Mozilla developers reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox and Thunderbird 68.5. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.6, Firefox < 74, Firefox < ESR68.6, and Firefox ESR < 68.6.
CVE-2020-6810 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2024-08-04 4.3 Medium
After a website had entered fullscreen mode, it could have used a previously opened popup to obscure the notification that indicates the browser is in fullscreen mode. Combined with spoofing the browser chrome, this could have led to confusing the user about the current origin of the page and credential theft or other attacks. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 74.
CVE-2020-6820 2 Mozilla, Redhat 5 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 2 more 2024-08-04 8.1 High
Under certain conditions, when handling a ReadableStream, a race condition can cause a use-after-free. We are aware of targeted attacks in the wild abusing this flaw. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.7.0, Firefox < 74.0.1, and Firefox ESR < 68.6.1.
CVE-2020-6812 3 Canonical, Mozilla, Redhat 6 Ubuntu Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 3 more 2024-08-04 5.3 Medium
The first time AirPods are connected to an iPhone, they become named after the user's name by default (e.g. Jane Doe's AirPods.) Websites with camera or microphone permission are able to enumerate device names, disclosing the user's name. To resolve this issue, Firefox added a special case that renames devices containing the substring 'AirPods' to simply 'AirPods'. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.6, Firefox < 74, Firefox < ESR68.6, and Firefox ESR < 68.6.
CVE-2020-6808 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2024-08-04 6.5 Medium
When a JavaScript URL (javascript:) is evaluated and the result is a string, this string is parsed to create an HTML document, which is then presented. Previously, this document's URL (as reported by the document.location property, for example) was the originating javascript: URL which could lead to spoofing attacks; it is now correctly the URL of the originating document. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 74.
CVE-2020-6793 2 Mozilla, Redhat 3 Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s 2024-08-04 6.5 Medium
When processing an email message with an ill-formed envelope, Thunderbird could read data from a random memory location. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.5.
CVE-2020-6806 3 Canonical, Mozilla, Redhat 6 Ubuntu Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 3 more 2024-08-04 8.8 High
By carefully crafting promise resolutions, it was possible to cause an out-of-bounds read off the end of an array resized during script execution. This could have led to memory corruption and a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.6, Firefox < 74, Firefox < ESR68.6, and Firefox ESR < 68.6.
CVE-2020-6825 2 Mozilla, Redhat 5 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 2 more 2024-08-04 9.8 Critical
Mozilla developers and community members Tyson Smith and Christian Holler reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 74 and Firefox ESR 68.6. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.7.0, Firefox ESR < 68.7, and Firefox < 75.
CVE-2020-6828 2 Google, Mozilla 2 Android, Firefox Esr 2024-08-04 7.5 High
A malicious Android application could craft an Intent that would have been processed by Firefox for Android and potentially result in a file overwrite in the user's profile directory. One exploitation vector for this would be to supply a user.js file providing arbitrary malicious preference values. Control of arbitrary preferences can lead to sufficient compromise such that it is generally equivalent to arbitrary code execution.<br> *Note: This issue only affects Firefox for Android. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.7.
CVE-2020-6796 2 Mozilla, Redhat 4 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-08-04 8.8 High
A content process could have modified shared memory relating to crash reporting information, crash itself, and cause an out-of-bound write. This could have caused memory corruption and a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 73 and Firefox < ESR68.5.
CVE-2020-6821 2 Mozilla, Redhat 5 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 2 more 2024-08-04 7.5 High
When reading from areas partially or fully outside the source resource with WebGL's <code>copyTexSubImage</code> method, the specification requires the returned values be zero. Previously, this memory was uninitialized, leading to potentially sensitive data disclosure. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.7.0, Firefox ESR < 68.7, and Firefox < 75.
CVE-2020-1933 2 Apache, Mozilla 2 Nifi, Firefox 2024-08-04 6.1 Medium
A XSS vulnerability was found in Apache NiFi 1.0.0 to 1.10.0. Malicious scripts could be injected to the UI through action by an unaware authenticated user in Firefox. Did not appear to occur in other browsers.
CVE-2021-43546 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 7 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 4 more 2024-08-04 4.3 Medium

CVE-2021-43544 2 Google, Mozilla 2 Android, Firefox 2024-08-04 6.1 Medium
When receiving a URL through a SEND intent, Firefox would have searched for the text, but subsequent usages of the address bar might have caused the URL to load unintentionally, which could lead to XSS and spoofing attacks. *This bug only affects Firefox for Android. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 95.
CVE-2021-43538 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 7 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 4 more 2024-08-04 4.3 Medium
By misusing a race in our notification code, an attacker could have forcefully hidden the notification for pages that had received full screen and pointer lock access, which could have been used for spoofing attacks. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 91.4.0, Firefox ESR < 91.4.0, and Firefox < 95.
CVE-2021-43540 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2024-08-04 6.5 Medium
