CVSS v3.1 |
Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime. Starting in version 1.41.3 and prior to versions 2.1.13, 2.2.13, and 2.3.2, `deno run --allow-read --deny-read main.ts` results in allowed, even though 'deny' should be stronger. The result is the same with all global unary permissions given as `--allow-* --deny-*`. This only affects a nonsensical combination of flags, so there shouldn't be a real impact on the userbase. Users may upgrade to version 2.1.13, 2.2.13, or 2.3.2 to receive a patch. |
Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime. Starting in version 2.2.0 and prior to versions 2.2.5, it is possible to bypass Deno's permission read/write db permission check by using `ATTACH DATABASE` statement. Version 2.2.5 contains a patch for the issue. |
Improper authentication of an HTTP endpoint in the S3 Gateway of Apache Ozone 1.4.0 allows any authenticated Kerberos user to revoke and regenerate the S3 secrets of any other user. This is only possible if:
* ozone.s3g.secret.http.enabled is set to true. The default value of this configuration is false.
* The user configured in ozone.s3g.kerberos.principal is also configured in ozone.s3.administrators or ozone.administrators.
Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Ozone version 1.4.1 which disables the affected endpoint. |
Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Solr.
Solr instances using the PKIAuthenticationPlugin, which is enabled by default when Solr Authentication is used, are vulnerable to Authentication bypass.
A fake ending at the end of any Solr API URL path, will allow requests to skip Authentication while maintaining the API contract with the original URL Path.
This fake ending looks like an unprotected API path, however it is stripped off internally after authentication but before API routing.
This issue affects Apache Solr: from 5.3.0 before 8.11.4, from 9.0.0 before 9.7.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.7.0, or 8.11.4, which fix the issue. |
This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to create arbitrary files on affected installations of Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX devices. Although authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed.
The specific flaw exists within the telematics functionality. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of root. |
The Debian zuluPolkit/CMakeLists.txt file for zuluCrypt through the zulucrypt_6.2.0-1 package has insecure PolicyKit allow_any/allow_inactive/allow_active settings that allow a local user to escalate their privileges to root. |
Insecure permissions in fabedge v0.8.1 allows attackers to access sensitive data and escalate privileges by obtaining the service account's token. |
An incorrect authorization vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products that allows unauthorized access to versioned files stored in the registry. Due to flawed authorization logic, a malicious actor with access to the management console can exploit a specific bypass method to retrieve versioned files without proper authorization.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized disclosure of configuration or resource files that may be stored as registry versions, potentially aiding further attacks or system reconnaissance. |
A vulnerability exists in the NodeRestriction admission controller where nodes can bypass dynamic resource allocation authorization checks. When the DynamicResourceAllocation feature gate is enabled, the controller properly validates resource claim statuses during pod status updates but fails to perform equivalent validation during pod creation. This allows a compromised node to create mirror pods that access unauthorized dynamic resources, potentially leading to privilege escalation. |
Under certain conditions, an authenticated user request may execute with stale privileges following an intentional change by an authorized administrator. This issue affects MongoDB Server v5.0 version prior to 5.0.31, MongoDB Server v6.0 version prior to 6.0.24, MongoDB Server v7.0 version prior to 7.0.21 and MongoDB Server v8.0 version prior to 8.0.5. |
Autel MaxiCharger AC Wallbox Commercial Technician API Incorrect Authorization Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Autel MaxiCharger AC Wallbox Commercial charging stations. An attacker must first obtain a low-privileged authorization token in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the implementation of the Autel Technician API. The issue results from incorrect authorization. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges to resources normally protected from the user. Was ZDI-CAN-26325. |
Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. When using an ACL on a device connected to a bridge, Incus versions 6.12 and 6.13generates nftables rules that partially bypass security options `security.mac_filtering`, `security.ipv4_filtering` and `security.ipv6_filtering`. This can lead to ARP spoofing on the bridge and to fully spoof another VM/container on the same bridge. Commit 254dfd2483ab8de39b47c2258b7f1cf0759231c8 contains a patch for the issue. |
Apache Airflow, versions before 2.7.1, is affected by a vulnerability that allows authenticated and DAG-view authorized Users to modify some DAG run detail values when submitting notes. This could have them alter details such as configuration parameters, start date, etc.
Users should upgrade to version 2.7.1 or later which has removed the vulnerability. |
A flaw was discovered in Moodle. Additional checks were required to ensure that users can only access cohort data they are authorized to retrieve. |
A flaw was found in Moodle. Insufficient capability checks in a messaging web service allowed users to view other users' names and online statuses. |
A flaw was found in Moodle. Additional checks were required to prevent users from deleting course sections they did not have permission to modify. |
Incorrect authorization vulnerability in TCMAN's GIM v11. This vulnerability allows an unprivileged attacker to modify the permissions held by each of the application's users, including the user himself by sending a POST request to /PC/Options.aspx?Command=2&Page=-1. |
The ws.stash.app.mac.daemon.helper tool contains a vulnerability caused by an incorrect use of macOS’s authorization model. Instead of validating the client's authorization reference, the helper invokes AuthorizationCopyRights() using its own privileged context (root), effectively authorizing itself rather than the client. As a result, it grants the system.preferences.admin right internally, regardless of the requesting client's privileges. This flawed logic allows unprivileged clients to invoke privileged operations via XPC, including unauthorized changes to system-wide network preferences such as SOCKS, HTTP, and HTTPS proxy settings. The absence of proper code-signing checks further enables arbitrary processes to exploit this flaw, leading to man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks through traffic redirection. |
A security vulnerability in the /apis/dashboard.grafana.app/* endpoints allows authenticated users to bypass dashboard and folder permissions. The vulnerability affects all API versions (v0alpha1, v1alpha1, v2alpha1).
Impact:
- Viewers can view all dashboards/folders regardless of permissions
- Editors can view/edit/delete all dashboards/folders regardless of permissions
- Editors can create dashboards in any folder regardless of permissions
- Anonymous users with viewer/editor roles are similarly affected
Organization isolation boundaries remain intact. The vulnerability only affects dashboard access and does not grant access to datasources. |
Mattermost versions 10.6.x <= 10.6.1, 10.5.x <= 10.5.2, 10.4.x <= 10.4.4, 9.11.x <= 9.11.11 fail to check the correct permissions which allows authenticated users who only have permission to invite non-guest users to a team to add guest users to that team via the API to add a single user to a team. |
