CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker with privileges to access the Bash shell to execute arbitrary code as root on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient security restrictions when executing commands from the Bash shell. An attacker with privileges to access the Bash shell could exploit this vulnerability by executing a specific crafted command on the underlying operating system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of root. |
| In a hardened Docker environment, with Enhanced Container Isolation ( ECI https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/ ) enabled, an administrator can utilize the command restrictions feature https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/config/#command-restrictions to restrict commands that a container with a Docker socket mount may issue on that socket.
Due to a software bug, the configuration to restrict commands was ignored when passed to ECI, allowing any command to be executed on the socket. This grants excessive privileges by permitting unrestricted access to powerful Docker commands.
The vulnerability affects only Docker Desktop 4.46.0 users that have ECI enabled and are using the Docker socket command restrictions feature. In addition, since ECI restricts mounting the Docker socket into containers by default, it only affects containers which are explicitly allowed by the administrator to mount the Docker socket. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in miniOrange WordPress Social Login and Register (Discord, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn) allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects WordPress Social Login and Register (Discord, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn): from n/a through 7.6.6. |
| In vulnerable versions of Calico (v3.27.2 and below), Calico Enterprise (v3.19.0-1, v3.18.1, v3.17.3 and below), and Calico Cloud (v19.2.0 and below), an attacker who has local access to the Kubernetes node, can escalate their privileges by exploiting a vulnerability in the Calico CNI install binary. The issue arises from an incorrect SUID (Set User ID) bit configuration in the binary, combined with the ability to control the input binary, allowing an attacker to execute an arbitrary binary with elevated privileges.

| A vulnerability has been identified in Mendix Applications using Mendix 10 (All versions < V10.11.0), Mendix Applications using Mendix 10 (V10.6) (All versions < V10.6.9), Mendix Applications using Mendix 9 (All versions >= V9.3.0 < V9.24.22). Affected applications could allow users with the capability to manage a role to elevate the access rights of users with that role. Successful exploitation requires to guess the id of a target role which contains the elevated access rights. |
| Visual Tools DVR VX16 version 4.2.28 contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability in its Sudo configuration that allows attackers to gain root access. Attackers can exploit the unsafe Sudo settings by using mount commands to bind a shell, enabling unauthorized system-level privileges. |
| Installation file of ESET security products on Windows
allow an attacker to misuse to delete an arbitrary file without having the permissions to do so. |
| Standard Windows users can access the configuration file for database access of the BRAIN2 application and decrypt it. |
| The User Profile Builder WordPress plugin before 3.15.2 does not have a proper password reset process, allowing a few unauthenticated requests to reset the password of any user by knowing their username, such as administrator ones, and therefore gain access to their account |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in Thrive Themes Thrive Theme Builder allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects Thrive Theme Builder: from n/a before 3.24.0. |
| A local privilege-escalation vulnerability has been discovered in the HPE Aruba Networking Virtual Intranet Access (VIA) client. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a local attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution with root privileges. |
| Pearcleaner is a free, source-available and fair-code licensed mac app cleaner. The PearcleanerHelper is a privileged helper tool bundled with the Pearcleaner application. It is registered and activated only after the user approves a system prompt to allow privileged operations. Upon approval, the helper is configured as a LaunchDaemon and runs with root privileges. In versions 4.4.0 through 4.5.1, the helper registers an XPC service (com.alienator88.Pearcleaner.PearcleanerHelper) and accepts unauthenticated connections from any local process. It exposes a method that executes arbitrary shell commands. This allows any local unprivileged user to escalate privileges to root once the helper is approved and active. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.2. |
| VMware Avi Load Balancer contains a privilege escalation vulnerability. A malicious actor with admin privileges on VMware Avi Load Balancer can create, modify, execute and delete files as a root user on the host system. |
| An issue in Shanghai Zhouma Network Technology CO., Ltd IMS Intelligent Manufacturing Collaborative Internet of Things System v.1.9.1 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the open port. |
| A flaw exists whereby a user can make a specific call to a FlashArray endpoint allowing privilege escalation. |
| Due to excessive privileges granted to the web user running the airpointer web platform, a malicious actor that gains control of the this user would be able to privilege escalate to the root user |
| Exposure of resource to wrong sphere in some Intel(R) DTT software installers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| A vulnerability was found in Teledyne FLIR FB-Series O and FLIR FH-Series ID 1.3.2.16 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /priv/production/production.html of the component Production Tools. The manipulation leads to improper access controls. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| CWE-269: Improper Privilege Management vulnerability exists for two services (of which one managing audit
trail data and the other acting as server managing client request) that could cause a loss of Confidentiality,
Integrity and Availability of engineering workstation when an attacker with standard privilege modifies the
executable path of the windows services. To be exploited, services need to be restarted. |
| An issue was discovered in CyberDAVA before 1.1.20. A privilege escalation vulnerability allows a low-privileged user to escalate their privilege by abusing the following API due to the lack of access control: /api/v2/users/user/<user id>/role/ROLE/<Target role> (admin access can be achieved). |
