CVE-2021-44532 | 4 Debian, Nodejs, Oracle and 1 more | 14 Debian Linux, Node.js, Graalvm and 11 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.3 Medium |
Node.js < 12.22.9, < 14.18.3, < 16.13.2, and < 17.3.1 converts SANs (Subject Alternative Names) to a string format. It uses this string to check peer certificates against hostnames when validating connections. The string format was subject to an injection vulnerability when name constraints were used within a certificate chain, allowing the bypass of these name constraints.Versions of Node.js with the fix for this escape SANs containing the problematic characters in order to prevent the injection. This behavior can be reverted through the --security-revert command-line option.
CVE-2021-43797 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 3 more | 28 Debian Linux, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Snapcenter and 25 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.5 Medium |
Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. Netty prior to version 4.1.71.Final skips control chars when they are present at the beginning / end of the header name. It should instead fail fast as these are not allowed by the spec and could lead to HTTP request smuggling. Failing to do the validation might cause netty to "sanitize" header names before it forward these to another remote system when used as proxy. This remote system can't see the invalid usage anymore, and therefore does not do the validation itself. Users should upgrade to version 4.1.71.Final.
CVE-2021-41183 | 8 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 37 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 34 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.5 Medium |
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of various `*Text` options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various `*Text` options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `*Text` options from untrusted sources.
CVE-2021-41184 | 7 Drupal, Fedoraproject, Jqueryui and 4 more | 36 Drupal, Fedora, Jquery Ui and 33 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.5 Medium |
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `of` option of the `.position()` util from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `of` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `of` option from untrusted sources.

CVE-2021-40690 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 26 Cxf, Santuario Xml Security For Java, Tomee and 23 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
All versions of Apache Santuario - XML Security for Java prior to 2.2.3 and 2.1.7 are vulnerable to an issue where the "secureValidation" property is not passed correctly when creating a KeyInfo from a KeyInfoReference element. This allows an attacker to abuse an XPath Transform to extract any local .xml files in a RetrievalMethod element.
CVE-2021-37714 | 5 Jsoup, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 24 Jsoup, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci, Banking Trade Finance and 21 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
jsoup is a Java library for working with HTML. Those using jsoup versions prior to 1.14.2 to parse untrusted HTML or XML may be vulnerable to DOS attacks. If the parser is run on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to get stuck (loop indefinitely until cancelled), to complete more slowly than usual, or to throw an unexpected exception. This effect may support a denial of service attack. The issue is patched in version 1.14.2. There are a few available workarounds. Users may rate limit input parsing, limit the size of inputs based on system resources, and/or implement thread watchdogs to cap and timeout parse runtimes.
CVE-2021-37695 | 4 Ckeditor, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 12 Ckeditor, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.3 High |

The problem has been recognized and patched. The fix will be available in version 4.16.2.
CVE-2021-37137 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 3 more | 23 Debian Linux, Oncommand Insight, Netty and 20 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
The Snappy frame decoder function doesn't restrict the chunk length which may lead to excessive memory usage. Beside this it also may buffer reserved skippable chunks until the whole chunk was received which may lead to excessive memory usage as well. This vulnerability can be triggered by supplying malicious input that decompresses to a very big size (via a network stream or a file) or by sending a huge skippable chunk.
CVE-2021-37136 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 3 more | 30 Debian Linux, Oncommand Insight, Netty and 27 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
The Bzip2 decompression decoder function doesn't allow setting size restrictions on the decompressed output data (which affects the allocation size used during decompression). All users of Bzip2Decoder are affected. The malicious input can trigger an OOME and so a DoS attack
