CVSS v3.1 |
electerm is an open-sourced terminal/ssh/sftp/telnet/serialport/RDP/VNC/Spice/ftp client. Prior to 3.11.11, electerm constructs operating system commands in src/app/lib/fs.js by interpolating untrusted file paths into the rmrf(), mv(), and cp() functions. A malicious SSH or SFTP server can provide a filename containing quote characters and shell metacharacters, and a victim can cause that filename to reach the affected operation during remote-to-local transfer, conflict renaming, copying, moving, or removal. The generated `rm -rf`, mv, `cp -r`, PowerShell Remove-Item, Move-Item, or Copy-Item command can then interpret the filename as shell syntax. This allows arbitrary command execution with the electerm desktop user's privileges on POSIX and Windows systems, enabling data exfiltration, file modification, malware installation, or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.11.
FFmpeg before commit 9d786e4 contains a stack buffer overflow in the MPEG-PS muxer (libavformat/mpegenc.c). When muxing input with more streams than the muxer's fixed-size stack buffer accommodates, the buffer is overflowed. A crafted input with an excessive number of streams triggers the overflow during MPEG-PS muxing.
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper handling of memory page table configurations.
The SimpleSAMLphp SAML2 library is a PHP library for SAML2 related functionality. In 4.19.2 and 4.20.2, the library permits attacker-controlled XPath transforms while processing XML signatures in specially crafted SAML messages. XPath evaluation can consume uncontrolled processing resources, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to deny service to any entity relying on SimpleSAMLphp or directly on the SAML2 library. The mitigation limits the number of transforms, permits only transform algorithms identified by the SAML 2.0 Core specification, and specifically rejects XPath transforms. This issue is fixed in versions 4.19.3 and 4.20.3.
Formie is a Craft CMS plugin for creating forms. Prior to 3.1.27, Formie can pass request-derived Hidden field defaults such as HTTP User Agent, Referer URL, Current URL, Current URL without Query String, Query Parameter, and Cookie Value to Craft's Twig rendering layer during front-end form rendering. An unauthenticated attacker can place Twig syntax in one of these request-controlled inputs when a public form contains an affected Hidden field. Hidden::getFrontEndInputOptions() then assigns the value to defaultValue and calls renderString, causing server-side template evaluation rather than treating the request data as a plain string. Depending on the Craft site configuration and available Twig capabilities, exploitation can disclose sensitive information, modify application state, or achieve remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.27.
Use-after-free in the Layout: Text and Fonts component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 115.39, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1.
4gaBoards is a boards system for realtime project management. Prior to 3.3.9, 4gaBoards allows an authenticated user to modify ssoGoogleId, ssoGoogleEmail, ssoGithubId, ssoGithubUsername, ssoGithubEmail, ssoMicrosoftId, ssoMicrosoftEmail, ssoOidcId, and ssoOidcEmail through PATCH /api/users/:id. The whitelist in server/api/controllers/users/update.js mass assigns these backend-managed identity attributes from user input. An attacker can place a victim's provider identifier on an attacker-controlled account, causing the default lookup in helpers such as server/api/helpers/users/get-create-one-for-github-sso.js to match the victim's first SSO login to the attacker's account before the email-linkage flow runs. The victim is logged into the attacker-controlled account, and projects, boards, or data the victim creates remain accessible through the attacker's original local credentials. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.9.
Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to 2.5.0, the downloadSubtitleFile utility in src/ipc/downloads.js, reached through the run-download IPC channel, accepts a renderer-supplied subtitle url using the file: URI scheme and passes its decoded pathname to fs.copyFileSync. The renderer also controls downloadPath, which determines the destination path. A compromised renderer can therefore copy any file readable by the StreamBERT process into an attacker-chosen writable location, exposing sensitive local data, and can overwrite existing writable files. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.0.
The SAML Single Sign On WordPress plugin before 5.4.7 does not verify the signature of a SAML response before storing the certificate it carries, and offers an administrator a one-click control that promotes that stored certificate to the site's trusted signing certificate, allowing unauthenticated attackers to have a certificate of their own trusted and then authenticate as any user, including an administrator.
The WPS Bidouille WordPress plugin before 1.33.5 does not have proper authorisation checks in an AJAX action, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to retrieve the email addresses of all registered users.
The KiviCare WordPress plugin before 4.5.4 does not verify that the requesting user is entitled to the media file being served, allowing authenticated patient-level users to download any file in the media library, including other patients' uploaded medical reports.
The KiviCare WordPress plugin before 4.5.4 does not verify that the requesting user owns the appointment being modified, allowing authenticated patient-level users to cancel and reschedule other patients' appointments.
The Easy Appointments WordPress plugin before 4.0.1 does not restrict one of its appointment-listing REST endpoints to the records belonging to the requesting user, allowing users with contributor-level access to read all bookings on the site, including customer names, schedules, and statuses.
The ProSolution WP Client WordPress plugin before 2.0.11 does not sanitise and escape a parameter before reflecting it into an HTML attribute on one of its administrative pages, leading to reflected Cross-Site Scripting that runs in the session of an administrator induced to submit a crafted request.
The ProSolution WP Client WordPress plugin before 2.0.11 does not sanitise and escape several parameters before reflecting them into HTML attributes on its public pages, leading to reflected Cross-Site Scripting that can be triggered against any visitor, including a logged-in administrator.
The Broken Link Checker WordPress plugin before 2.4.12 does not limit which query variables it accepts from user input on sites using plain permalinks, allowing unauthenticated users to overwrite arbitrary PHP global variables, and to execute arbitrary code on the server when a classic (non-block) is active.
The TrueBooker WordPress plugin before 1.2.7 does not have proper authorisation checks in one of its AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated users to delete arbitrary appointment records along with their associated booking items and payment records.
The TrueBooker WordPress plugin before 1.2.7 does not have proper authorisation checks in one of its AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated users to change the status of arbitrary appointments, as well as to trigger notification emails to the affected customers.
The TrueBooker WordPress plugin before 1.2.7 does not have proper authorisation checks in some of its AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated users to change the email address of arbitrary users, including administrators, and subsequently take over their account via the password reset flow.
The WP Maps WordPress plugin before 4.9.8 does not perform a capability check, nor validate a nonce, in one of its AJAX actions, allowing users with a Subscriber account to create an unlimited number of options in the database, each of which is loaded on every page request.
