| Uninitialized memory in the Storage: Quota Manager component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 140.17, Thunderbird 153.4, Firefox 157, Firefox ESR 115.42, and Firefox ESR 140.17. |
| The Calculated Fields Form – AI Form Builder for WordPress – Contact, Payment, Quote, Quiz & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'x (any URL parameter consumed by the form's calculated equation)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.1.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires the target site to have a public form configured with a Select2-enabled dropdown whose choices are populated via a calculated equation that pipes a URL parameter through GETURLPARAMETER() into setChoices({texts:[...]}); given that configuration, exploitation requires only a single crafted link. |
| The Sangfor Next-Gen Application Firewall version NGAF8.0.17 is vulnerable to an authenticated file disclosure vulnerability. A remote and authenticated attacker can read arbitrary system files using the svpn_html/loadfile.php endpoint. This issue is exploitable by a remote and unauthenticated attacker when paired with CVE-2023-30803. |
| Voyager 1.3.0 contains a directory traversal vulnerability that allows attackers to access sensitive system files by manipulating the asset path parameter. Attackers can exploit the path parameter in /admin/voyager-assets to read arbitrary files like /etc/passwd and .env configuration files. |
| A flaw was found in Moodle. An incorrect capability check in the artificial intelligence (AI) editor placement's image generation web service allows an authenticated user to invoke the feature without holding the required capability. This flaw permits unauthorized users to access and utilize the AI image generation functionality. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
powercap: intel_rapl: Fix memory leak in rapl_add_package_cpuslocked()
When topology_physical_package_id()/topology_logical_die_id() returns
a negative value, rapl_add_package_cpuslocked() returns ERR_PTR(-EINVAL)
directly without freeing the rapl_package structure that was just
allocated by kzalloc_obj(), leaking memory on every failed package
addition.
Use the existing err_free_package label so that the allocation is
released on the error path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rds: filter RDS_INFO_* getsockopt by caller's netns
The RDS_INFO_* family of getsockopt(2) options reads several
file-scope global lists that are not per-netns:
rds_sock_info / rds6_sock_info,
rds_sock_inc_info / rds6_sock_inc_info -> rds_sock_list
rds_tcp_tc_info / rds6_tcp_tc_info -> rds_tcp_tc_list
rds_conn_info / rds6_conn_info,
rds_conn_message_info_cmn (for the *_SEND_MESSAGES and
*_RETRANS_MESSAGES variants),
rds_for_each_conn_info (for RDS_INFO_IB_CONNECTIONS)
-> rds_conn_hash[]
The handlers do not filter by the caller's network namespace.
rds_info_getsockopt() has no netns or capable() check, and
rds_create() has no capable() check, so AF_RDS is reachable from
an unprivileged user namespace. As a result, an unprivileged
caller in a fresh user_ns plus netns can read the bound address
and sock inode of every RDS socket on the host, the peer address
of incoming messages on every RDS socket on the host, the peer
address and TCP sequence numbers of every rds-tcp connection on
the host, and the peer address and RDS sequence numbers of every
RDS connection on the host.
The rds-tcp transport is reachable from a non-initial netns (see
rds_set_transport()), so a one-shot init_net gate at
rds_info_getsockopt() would deny legitimate per-netns visibility
to rds-tcp callers. Instead, filter at each handler by comparing
the netns of the caller's socket to the netns of the list entry,
or to rds_conn_net(conn) for connection paths. Only copy entries
whose netns matches the caller. Counters (RDS_INFO_COUNTERS) are
aggregate statistics and remain global.
Reproducer (KASAN VM, rds and rds_tcp loaded): an AF_RDS socket
binds 127.0.0.1:4242 in init_net as root. A child process enters
a fresh user_ns plus netns and opens AF_RDS there, then calls
getsockopt(SOL_RDS, RDS_INFO_SOCKETS). Before this change, the
child sees the init_net socket. After this change, the child
sees zero entries.
Drop the rds_sock_count, rds_tcp_tc_count, and rds6_tcp_tc_count
globals. v2 used them for the size precheck and lens->nr; v3
replaced the precheck with a per-ns count from a first pass over
the list, so the globals have no remaining readers. The matching
increments and decrements in rds_create()/rds_destroy_sock() and
rds_tcp_set_callbacks()/rds_tcp_restore_callbacks() go away with
them. Reported by the kernel test robot under clang W=1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/counter: Fix num_counters leak on bind_qp failure in alloc_and_bind()
When __rdma_counter_bind_qp() fails in alloc_and_bind(), the error path
jumps to err_mode which frees the counter without decrementing
port_counter->num_counters. The only place that decrements is
rdma_counter_free(), which is unreachable since the counter was never
successfully bound.
This leak accumulates across repeated failures, permanently preventing
the port from switching to AUTO mode (-EBUSY in __counter_set_mode())
and blocking the MANUAL→NONE auto-revert in rdma_counter_free(). When
the mode was NONE before the call, the MANUAL mode set by
__counter_set_mode() also leaks since the revert logic is never
reached.
Add an err_bind label between the num_counters increment and the
existing err_mode label. It decrements num_counters and mirrors the
MANUAL→NONE revert from rdma_counter_free(), ensuring the port state
is fully restored on bind failure. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: core: hcd: fix possible deadlock in rh control transfers
>From within the SCSI error handler memory allocations must not
trigger IO. Handling errors in UAS and the storage driver may
involve resetting a device. The thread doing the reset itself
relies on VM magic. However, that is insufficient, as resetting
a device involves resuming it. Resumption as well as resetting
involves conrol transfers to the parent of the device to be reset.
That may be a root hub. Hence usbcore must heed the flags passed
to usb_submit_urb() processing control transfers to root hubs.
The problem exist since the storage driver has been merged. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
affs: handle set_blocksize failures
affs uses buffer_heads, which don't handle block size > PAGE_SIZE well.
Without this, mounting we will hit the
BUG_ON(offset >= folio_size(folio));
in folio_set_bh on the first __bread_gfp call. |
| Fortra BoKS Manager contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the custom TLS ClientHello parser used by boks_portmux. A remote unauthenticated attacker can submit a malformed ClientHello and terminate boks_portmux. Although the daemon is normally restarted automatically, repeated requests can sustain the service interruption. |
| Imager versions before 1.037 for Perl exit the process reading a raw image with an out-of-range raw_datachannels value in i_readraw_wiol.
Nothing range-checks raw_datachannels. The line buffer is sized as the image width times the channel count with no overflow check, so a negative or very large count requests an excessive allocation. When it fails, Imager's allocator calls exit(3).
Passing an untrusted raw_datachannels value to Imager->read() triggers an uncatchable exit. |
| Imager versions before 1.037 for Perl overflow a heap buffer fetching float samples from a paletted image in i_gsampf_fp.
For a paletted image, getsamples() with type "float" allocates a buffer of one sample per pixel and fetches every requested channel of each pixel into it. Requesting more than one channel writes past its end.
An attacker-supplied image controls the overflowing bytes through its palette. |
| The SMBus driver API exposed smbus_smbalert_remove_cb() and smbus_host_notify_remove_cb() as Zephyr syscalls. Their verifiers in drivers/smbus/smbus_handlers.c validated only the dev argument with K_SYSCALL_OBJ(dev, K_OBJ_DRIVER_SMBUS) and forwarded the caller-supplied struct smbus_callback *cb pointer into kernel-mode driver code without any K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_READ/K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_WRITE validation. A companion change in 2023 had already removed the matching smbus_smbalert_set_cb() / smbus_host_notify_set_cb() syscalls for this reason, but the two removal syscalls were left exposed.
On a build with CONFIG_USERSPACE=y, CONFIG_SMBUS=y and a driver implementing the callback operations (drivers/smbus/intel_pch_smbus.c with CONFIG_SMBUS_INTEL_PCH_SMBALERT/CONFIG_SMBUS_INTEL_PCH_HOST_NOTIFY, or drivers/smbus/smbus_stm32.c with CONFIG_SMBUS_STM32_SMBALERT), any user-mode thread that has been granted the SMBus device object can invoke these syscalls with an arbitrary pointer. The value reaches smbus_callback_remove() in drivers/smbus/smbus_utils.h, which uses it as a node identity against the kernel's sys_slist_t of registered callbacks.
The consequence is that an unprivileged thread can unregister an SMBALERT or Host Notify callback that a supervisor-mode component registered, silently disabling alert handling for the rest of the system; because Zephyr images have fixed symbol addresses and the syscall returns 0 on a hit versus -ENOENT on a miss, the target address is both derivable and searchable. In builds with CONFIG_ASSERT=y the __ASSERT(callback->handler, ...) check additionally dereferences the caller-supplied address in supervisor mode, so a bogus pointer raises a kernel-mode fault and a fatal system error, and the fault/no-fault outcome discloses which addresses are mapped.
The fix removes both syscall entry points, demoting the two functions to ordinary static inline calls so that callback list manipulation is available only to supervisor-mode code. There is no impact on builds without CONFIG_USERSPACE, and no impact on configurations that do not enable an SMBus driver with SMBALERT or Host Notify support. |
