| A inclusion of sensitive information in source code vulnerability in Fortinet FortiMonitorOnSight 7.2.4 through 7.2.7, FortiMonitorOnSight 7.2.0 through 7.2.2 may allow attacker to improper access control via <insert attack vector here> |
| ** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Shindig.
This issue affects Apache Shindig: all versions.
Users with access to the Shindig REST API can send specially-crafted requests to trigger arbitrary code execution on the server.
As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative or restrict access to the instance to trusted users.
NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| attr before version 2.6.0 contains a symlink traversal vulnerability in the getfattr and setfattr utilities that allows local attackers to escalate privileges by replacing a pathname component with a symbolic link during directory hierarchy traversal. Attackers who control a pathname component can redirect getfattr and setfattr operations to arbitrary files by substituting a symlink, leading to local privilege escalation when getfattr or setfattr is invoked by a privileged process over an attacker-controlled path. |
| fast-uri versions 2.3.1 through 3.1.2 and 4.0.0 fail to canonicalize Unicode (IDN) hostnames for HTTP-family URLs. The IDN conversion path calls a helper that does not exist on the global URL constructor, silently leaving the host in its original Unicode form while normalize() and equal() still return values that differ from a WHATWG-compatible URL parser. Applications that use fast-uri to enforce host-based policy (denylists, loopback filtering, redirect validation, outbound proxy routing) before passing the same URL to Node's URL or fetch can be bypassed when the two implementations resolve the same input to different hosts. Patches: upgrade to fast-uri 3.1.3 for the 3.x line or 4.0.1 for the 4.x line. Workarounds: enforce host policy using the same URL parser used for the actual request, or reject non-ASCII hosts before policy checks. |
| Renovate is an automated dependency update tool. In versions before 44.14.4 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images before 15.4.0 and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), log sanitisation for TLS private keys used for Mutual TLS was incomplete. While the value of hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey was redacted in the field itself, the same private key value was not redacted if it also appeared elsewhere — for example in another configuration option or in a log message under a key other than httpsPrivateKey — causing the full private key to be written to Renovate's logs in cleartext. This affects deployments that configure Mutual TLS through hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey without passing the value through the documented `secrets` configuration. Anyone able to read the resulting logs can recover the private key. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.14.4, which redacts any value supplied as hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey wherever it appears in the logs; as a workaround, supply the key via the `secrets` configuration. |
| Unauthenticated PHP Object Injection in Wise Chat <= 3.4 versions. |
| The consul-template library is vulnerable to an information disclosure issue in its error handling path that may allow Vault secret values to appear in template error messages, log output, and downstream surfaces such as Nomad task events. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-87993) is fixed in consul-template 0.43.0. |
| FileRun before 2026.3.0 contains a PHP object injection vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code by exploiting incorrect options passed to unserialize() in the Perms::getPerms() method, where a positional array is used instead of the required named-key array to disable class instantiation. Attackers with database write access can inject a serialized gadget chain into the permissions table columns processed on every authenticated page load to write arbitrary files, such as PHP webshells, to web-accessible paths. |
| An Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File vulnerability in SUSE neuvector manager exposes sensitive information into the manager container’s log
This issue affects neuvector: before 5.4.5. |
| Missing authorization in Omnibox in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions into a privileged page via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Deserialization of untrusted data in SQL Server allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft Office Publisher allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| IBM Netezza Software 11.3.0.3 through Interim Fix 002 has credentials that are hardcoded in the application source code, allowing unauthorized access to the container registry. The exposed secret enables attackers to pull private container images, potentially revealing proprietary code, configuration details, and other sensitive information. |
| The Ninja Forms – The Contact Form Builder That Grows With You plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.14.6 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. The deserialization is triggered automatically during form import when WPN_Helper::build_nf_cache() invokes $action->get_settings() immediately after the crafted form is imported, requiring no further interaction beyond the import action itself. |
| t-digest versions 3.1 through 3.3 fail to validate centroid means during deserialization in MergingDigest.fromBytes, allowing attackers to inject NaN values that bypass validation checks. Attackers can craft malicious serialized digests containing NaN centroids that degrade sorting performance from O(n log n) to O(n squared), causing severe processing delays during merge operations. |
| A flaw was found in the memcached cache plugin of the community.general Ansible
collection. Although its documentation states that records are stored in JSON
format, the plugin performs no explicit serialization and relies on
python-memcached, which pickles values on write and unpickles them on read.
Because memcached is unauthenticated and cache keys are predictable, an attacker
able to reach a network-exposed or shared memcached instance can write a crafted
pickle payload that is deserialized and executed on the Ansible controller when
the poisoned fact cache is next read, leading to remote code execution. |
| MISP contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in its LDAP and LinOTP authentication components due to insufficient validation of user-supplied credentials.
The custom LdapAuthenticate and LinOTPAuthenticate components replace CakePHP's FormAuthenticate implementation but did not replicate its credential validation checks. As a result, empty or non-string values could reach the underlying authentication mechanisms.
In the LDAP authentication path, an attacker able to identify a valid directory user's email address could submit an empty password. The empty credential could be passed to ldap_bind(), where an LDAP server accepting unauthenticated binds may return a successful result for a valid distinguished name combined with an empty password. MISP could consequently treat the attacker as the corresponding authenticated directory user without verification of the user's password.
The issue also affected the LinOTP authentication component. Invalid credential types were not rejected before being processed, and when mixed authentication was enabled, an empty password could be checked against a locally stored MISP password hash. LDAP-provisioned MISP accounts could additionally be created with an empty local password because account creation skipped normal validation, resulting in a hash corresponding to an empty password. This could permit authentication through the local fallback mechanism when such an account was no longer resolved through LDAP.
Successful exploitation could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to impersonate an existing MISP user. If the targeted account has administrative or other privileged permissions, the attacker could gain corresponding access to sensitive threat-intelligence data, modify or delete information, alter configuration, or perform other privileged operations.
The patch resolves the vulnerability by requiring authentication identifiers and passwords to be valid strings, rejecting empty passwords where they are not explicitly permitted, and assigning a randomly generated local password to LDAP-provisioned accounts instead of storing a hash derived from an empty password. |
| A local vulnerability in the Winlogbeat Windows installer caused runtime files to be placed in a directory writable by unprivileged users. A low-privileged attacker with existing access to the system could pre-position malicious filesystem links, causing a subsequent elevated Winlogbeat operation to write to or delete arbitrary files. Successful exploitation could result in a denial of service. |
| MaxSite CMS through 109.6 passes the ci_session cookie to unserialize() without class restrictions, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject PHP objects. Attackers can forge valid session cookies using the hardcoded encryption key to trigger magic methods and corrupt application state or achieve code execution if gadget classes exist. |
