| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: af_alg - limit RX SG extraction by receive buffer budget
Make af_alg_get_rsgl() limit each RX scatterlist extraction to the
remaining receive buffer budget.
af_alg_get_rsgl() currently uses af_alg_readable() only as a gate
before extracting data into the RX scatterlist. Limit each extraction
to the remaining af_alg_rcvbuf(sk) budget so that receive-side
accounting matches the amount of data attached to the request.
If skcipher cannot obtain enough RX space for at least one chunk while
more data remains to be processed, reject the recvmsg call instead of
rounding the request length down to zero. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bridge: br_nd_send: linearize skb before parsing ND options
br_nd_send() parses neighbour discovery options from ns->opt[] and
assumes that these options are in the linear part of request.
Its callers only guarantee that the ICMPv6 header and target address
are available, so the option area can still be non-linear. Parsing
ns->opt[] in that case can access data past the linear buffer.
Linearize request before option parsing and derive ns from the linear
network header. |

The root cause is in commit 40b2d55e0452 ("f2fs: fix to create selinux
label during whiteout initialization"), we added a call to
f2fs_setup_filename() without a matching call to f2fs_free_filename(),
fix it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: gadget: f_uac1_legacy: validate control request size
f_audio_complete() copies req->length bytes into a 4-byte stack
variable:
u32 data = 0;
memcpy(&data, req->buf, req->length);
req->length is derived from the host-controlled USB request path,
which can lead to a stack out-of-bounds write.
Validate req->actual against the expected payload size for the
supported control selectors and decode only the expected amount
of data.
This avoids copying a host-influenced length into a fixed-size
stack object. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: gadget: f_rndis: Fix net_device lifecycle with device_move
The net_device is allocated during function instance creation and
registered during the bind phase with the gadget device as its sysfs
parent. When the function unbinds, the parent device is destroyed, but
the net_device survives, resulting in dangling sysfs symlinks:

Use device_move() to reparent the net_device between the gadget device
tree and /sys/devices/virtual across bind and unbind cycles. During the
final unbind, calling device_move(NULL) moves the net_device to the
virtual device tree before the gadget device is destroyed. On rebinding,
device_move() reparents the device back under the new gadget, ensuring
proper sysfs topology and power management ordering.
To maintain compatibility with legacy composite drivers (e.g., multi.c),
the borrowed_net flag is used to indicate whether the network device is
shared and pre-registered during the legacy driver's bind phase. |

| Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in mod_proxy_ajp of Apache HTTP Server.
If mod_proxy_ajp connects to a malicious AJP server this AJP server can send a malicious AJP message back to mod_proxy_ajp and cause it to write 4 attacker controlled bytes after the end of a heap based buffer.
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.66.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.67, which fixes the issue. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: convert inline data to extents when truncate exceeds inline size
Add a check in ext4_setattr() to convert files from inline data storage
to extent-based storage when truncate() grows the file size beyond the
inline capacity. This prevents the filesystem from entering an
inconsistent state where the inline data flag is set but the file size
exceeds what can be stored inline.
Without this fix, the following sequence causes a kernel BUG_ON():
1. Mount filesystem with inode that has inline flag set and small size
2. truncate(file, 50MB) - grows size but inline flag remains set
3. sendfile() attempts to write data
4. ext4_write_inline_data() hits BUG_ON(write_size > inline_capacity)
The crash occurs because ext4_write_inline_data() expects inline storage
to accommodate the write, but the actual inline capacity (~60 bytes for
i_block + ~96 bytes for xattrs) is far smaller than the file size and
write request.
The fix checks if the new size from setattr exceeds the inode's actual
inline capacity (EXT4_I(inode)->i_inline_size) and converts the file to
extent-based storage before proceeding with the size change.
This addresses the root cause by ensuring the inline data flag and file
size remain consistent during truncate operations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Buffer overflow in drivers/xen/sys-hypervisor.c
The build id returned by HYPERVISOR_xen_version(XENVER_build_id) is
neither NUL terminated nor a string.
The first causes a buffer overflow as sprintf in buildid_show will
read and copy till it finds a NUL.
