CVE-2024-7254 | 2 Google, Redhat | 8 Google-protobuf, Protobuf, Protobuf-java and 5 more | 2024-09-20 | 7.5 High |
Any project that parses untrusted Protocol Buffers data containing an arbitrary number of nested groups / series of SGROUP tags can corrupted by exceeding the stack limit i.e. StackOverflow. Parsing nested groups as unknown fields with DiscardUnknownFieldsParser or Java Protobuf Lite parser, or against Protobuf map fields, creates unbounded recursions that can be abused by an attacker.
CVE-2020-28491 | 4 Fasterxml, Oracle, Quarkus and 1 more | 11 Jackson-dataformats-binary, Weblogic Server, Quarkus and 8 more | 2024-09-16 | 7.5 High |
This affects the package com.fasterxml.jackson.dataformat:jackson-dataformat-cbor from 0 and before 2.11.4, from 2.12.0-rc1 and before 2.12.1. Unchecked allocation of byte buffer can cause a java.lang.OutOfMemoryError exception.
CVE-2021-20328 | 3 Mongodb, Quarkus, Redhat | 4 Java Driver, Quarkus, Camel Quarkus and 1 more | 2024-09-16 | 6.4 Medium |
Specific versions of the Java driver that support client-side field level encryption (CSFLE) fail to perform correct host name verification on the KMS server’s certificate. This vulnerability in combination with a privileged network position active MITM attack could result in interception of traffic between the Java driver and the KMS service rendering Field Level Encryption ineffective. This issue was discovered during internal testing and affects all versions of the Java driver that support CSFLE. The Java async, Scala, and reactive streams drivers are not impacted. This vulnerability does not impact driver traffic payloads with CSFLE-supported key services originating from applications residing inside the AWS, GCP, and Azure network fabrics due to compensating controls in these environments. This issue does not impact driver workloads that don’t use Field Level Encryption.
CVE-2022-40152 | 3 Fasterxml, Redhat, Xstream Project | 8 Woodstox, Camel Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot and 5 more | 2024-09-16 | 6.5 Medium |
Those using Woodstox to parse XML data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS) if DTD support is enabled. If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by stackoverflow. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-40151 | 2 Redhat, Xstream Project | 5 Camel Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform and 2 more | 2024-09-16 | 6.5 Medium |
Those using Xstream to seralize XML data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by stackoverflow. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2024-41172 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 3 Cxf, Camel Quarkus, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform | 2024-09-13 | 7.5 High |
In versions of Apache CXF before 3.6.4 and 4.0.5 (3.5.x and lower versions are not impacted), a CXF HTTP client conduit may prevent HTTPClient instances from being garbage collected and it is possible that memory consumption will continue to increase, eventually causing the application to run out of memory
CVE-2024-32007 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 3 Cxf, Apache Camel Spring Boot, Camel Quarkus | 2024-09-13 | 7.5 High |
An improper input validation of the p2c parameter in the Apache CXF JOSE code before 4.0.5, 3.6.4 and 3.5.9 allows an attacker to perform a denial of service attack by specifying a large value for this parameter in a token.
CVE-2024-8391 | 3 Eclipse, Eclipse Foundation, Redhat | 5 Vert.x, Vert.x, Camel Quarkus and 2 more | 2024-09-12 | 7.5 High |
In Eclipse Vert.x version 4.3.0 to 4.5.9, the gRPC server does not limit the maximum length of message payload (Maven GAV: io.vertx:vertx-grpc-server and io.vertx:vertx-grpc-client). This is fixed in the 4.5.10 version. Note this does not affect the Vert.x gRPC server based grpc-java and Netty libraries (Maven GAV: io.vertx:vertx-grpc)
CVE-2023-44483 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 6 Santuario Xml Security For Java, Apache Camel Spring Boot, Camel Quarkus and 3 more | 2024-09-12 | 6.5 Medium |
All versions of Apache Santuario - XML Security for Java prior to 2.2.6, 2.3.4, and 3.0.3, when using the JSR 105 API, are vulnerable to an issue where a private key may be disclosed in log files when generating an XML Signature and logging with debug level is enabled. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.2.6, 2.3.4, or 3.0.3, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2024-45294 | 1 Redhat | 2 Apache Camel Spring Boot, Camel Quarkus | 2024-09-06 | 8.6 High |
The HL7 FHIR Core Artifacts repository provides the java core object handling code, with utilities (including validator), for the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) specification. Prior to version 6.3.23, XSLT transforms performed by various components are vulnerable to XML external entity injections. A processed XML file with a malicious DTD tag could produce XML containing data from the host system. This impacts use cases where org.hl7.fhir.core is being used to within a host where external clients can submit XML. This issue has been patched in release 6.3.23. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2023-4043 | 2 Eclipse, Redhat | 6 Parsson, Camel Quarkus, Camel Spring Boot and 3 more | 2024-09-05 | 5.9 Medium |
In Eclipse Parsson before versions 1.1.4 and 1.0.5, Parsing JSON from untrusted sources can lead malicious actors to exploit the fact that the built-in support for parsing numbers with large scale in Java has a number of edge cases where the input text of a number can lead to much larger processing time than one would expect. To mitigate the risk, parsson put in place a size limit for the numbers as well as their scale.
CVE-2024-30171 | 1 Redhat | 6 Amq Broker, Apache Camel Spring Boot, Camel Quarkus and 3 more | 2024-08-19 | 5.9 Medium |

An issue was discovered in Legion of the Bouncy Castle BC Java 1.65 and 1.66. The OpenBSDBCrypt.checkPassword utility method compared incorrect data when checking the password, allowing incorrect passwords to indicate they were matching with previously hashed ones that were different.
CVE-2020-27782 | 1 Redhat | 7 Camel Quarkus, Integration, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 4 more | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in the Undertow AJP connector. Malicious requests and abrupt connection closes could be triggered by an attacker using query strings with non-RFC compliant characters resulting in a denial of service. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. This affects Undertow 2.1.5.SP1, 2.0.33.SP2, and 2.2.3.SP1.
CVE-2020-27218 | 6 Apache, Debian, Eclipse and 3 more | 23 Kafka, Spark, Debian Linux and 20 more | 2024-08-04 | 4.8 Medium |
In Eclipse Jetty version 9.4.0.RC0 to 9.4.34.v20201102, 10.0.0.alpha0 to 10.0.0.beta2, and 11.0.0.alpha0 to 11.0.0.beta2, if GZIP request body inflation is enabled and requests from different clients are multiplexed onto a single connection, and if an attacker can send a request with a body that is received entirely but not consumed by the application, then a subsequent request on the same connection will see that body prepended to its body. The attacker will not see any data but may inject data into the body of the subsequent request.
CVE-2020-27223 | 6 Apache, Debian, Eclipse and 3 more | 22 Nifi, Solr, Spark and 19 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.3 Medium |
In Eclipse Jetty 9.4.6.v20170531 to 9.4.36.v20210114 (inclusive), 10.0.0, and 11.0.0 when Jetty handles a request containing multiple Accept headers with a large number of “quality” (i.e. q) parameters, the server may enter a denial of service (DoS) state due to high CPU usage processing those quality values, resulting in minutes of CPU time exhausted processing those quality values.
CVE-2020-27222 | 2 Eclipse, Redhat | 3 Californium, Camel Quarkus, Integration | 2024-08-04 | 7.5 High |
In Eclipse Californium version 2.3.0 to 2.6.0, the certificate based (x509 and RPK) DTLS handshakes accidentally fails, because the DTLS server side sticks to a wrong internal state. That wrong internal state is set by a previous certificate based DTLS handshake failure with TLS parameter mismatch. The DTLS server side must be restarted to recover this. This allow clients to force a DoS. |
