CVE-2020-13143 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 38 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 35 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
gadget_dev_desc_UDC_store in drivers/usb/gadget/configfs.c in the Linux kernel 3.16 through 5.6.13 relies on kstrdup without considering the possibility of an internal '\0' value, which allows attackers to trigger an out-of-bounds read, aka CID-15753588bcd4.
CVE-2020-12888 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 45 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 42 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
The VFIO PCI driver in the Linux kernel through 5.6.13 mishandles attempts to access disabled memory space.
CVE-2020-12771 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more | 37 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 34 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.6.11. btree_gc_coalesce in drivers/md/bcache/btree.c has a deadlock if a coalescing operation fails.
CVE-2020-12770 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 42 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 39 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.7 Medium |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.6.11. sg_write lacks an sg_remove_request call in a certain failure case, aka CID-83c6f2390040.
CVE-2020-12769 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 36 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 33 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.4.17. drivers/spi/spi-dw.c allows attackers to cause a panic via concurrent calls to dw_spi_irq and dw_spi_transfer_one, aka CID-19b61392c5a8.
CVE-2020-12653 | 5 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 2 more | 42 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, A700s and 39 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
An issue was found in Linux kernel before 5.5.4. The mwifiex_cmd_append_vsie_tlv() function in drivers/net/wireless/marvell/mwifiex/scan.c allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service because of an incorrect memcpy and buffer overflow, aka CID-b70261a288ea.
CVE-2020-11884 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 38 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 35 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.0 High |
In the Linux kernel 4.19 through 5.6.7 on the s390 platform, code execution may occur because of a race condition, as demonstrated by code in enable_sacf_uaccess in arch/s390/lib/uaccess.c that fails to protect against a concurrent page table upgrade, aka CID-3f777e19d171. A crash could also occur.
CVE-2020-10690 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more | 34 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 31 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
There is a use-after-free in kernel versions before 5.5 due to a race condition between the release of ptp_clock and cdev while resource deallocation. When a (high privileged) process allocates a ptp device file (like /dev/ptpX) and voluntarily goes to sleep. During this time if the underlying device is removed, it can cause an exploitable condition as the process wakes up to terminate and clean all attached files. The system crashes due to the cdev structure being invalid (as already freed) which is pointed to by the inode.
CVE-2019-9077 | 4 Canonical, F5, Gnu and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Traffix Signaling Delivery Controller, Binutils and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
An issue was discovered in GNU Binutils 2.32. It is a heap-based buffer overflow in process_mips_specific in readelf.c via a malformed MIPS option section.
CVE-2019-6110 | 4 Netapp, Openbsd, Siemens and 1 more | 9 Element Software, Ontap Select Deploy, Storage Automation Store and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 Medium |
In OpenSSH 7.9, due to accepting and displaying arbitrary stderr output from the server, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can manipulate the client output, for example to use ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred.
CVE-2019-6109 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 Medium |
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c.
CVE-2019-3462 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Netapp | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Advanced Package Tool, Debian Linux and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
Incorrect sanitation of the 302 redirect field in HTTP transport method of apt versions 1.4.8 and earlier can lead to content injection by a MITM attacker, potentially leading to remote code execution on the target machine.
CVE-2019-1559 | 13 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 10 more | 91 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 88 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
If an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSL_shutdown() twice (once to send a close_notify, and once to receive one) then OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. If the application then behaves differently based on that in a way that is detectable to the remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. In order for this to be exploitable "non-stitched" ciphersuites must be in use. Stitched ciphersuites are optimised implementations of certain commonly used ciphersuites. Also the application must call SSL_shutdown() twice even if a protocol error has occurred (applications should not do this but some do anyway). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2r (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2q).
CVE-2019-18683 | 6 Broadcom, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 23 Fabric Operating System, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.0 High |
An issue was discovered in drivers/media/platform/vivid in the Linux kernel through 5.3.8. It is exploitable for privilege escalation on some Linux distributions where local users have /dev/video0 access, but only if the driver happens to be loaded. There are multiple race conditions during streaming stopping in this driver (part of the V4L2 subsystem). These issues are caused by wrong mutex locking in vivid_stop_generating_vid_cap(), vivid_stop_generating_vid_out(), sdr_cap_stop_streaming(), and the corresponding kthreads. At least one of these race conditions leads to a use-after-free.
CVE-2019-17498 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 3 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
In libssh2 v1.9.0 and earlier versions, the SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT logic in packet.c has an integer overflow in a bounds check, enabling an attacker to specify an arbitrary (out-of-bounds) offset for a subsequent memory read. A crafted SSH server may be able to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service condition on the client system when a user connects to the server.
CVE-2019-15098 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.6 Medium |
drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath6kl/usb.c in the Linux kernel through 5.2.9 has a NULL pointer dereference via an incomplete address in an endpoint descriptor.
CVE-2019-11068 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 23 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
libxslt through 1.1.33 allows bypass of a protection mechanism because callers of xsltCheckRead and xsltCheckWrite permit access even upon receiving a -1 error code. xsltCheckRead can return -1 for a crafted URL that is not actually invalid and is subsequently loaded.
CVE-2019-0201 | 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 14 Activemq, Drill, Zookeeper and 11 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
An issue is present in Apache ZooKeeper 1.0.0 to 3.4.13 and 3.5.0-alpha to 3.5.4-beta. ZooKeeper’s getACL() command doesn’t check any permission when retrieves the ACLs of the requested node and returns all information contained in the ACL Id field as plaintext string. DigestAuthenticationProvider overloads the Id field with the hash value that is used for user authentication. As a consequence, if Digest Authentication is in use, the unsalted hash value will be disclosed by getACL() request for unauthenticated or unprivileged users.
CVE-2018-7183 | 4 Canonical, Freebsd, Netapp and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Freebsd, Element Software and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Buffer overflow in the decodearr function in ntpq in ntp 4.2.8p6 through 4.2.8p10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging an ntpq query and sending a response with a crafted array.
CVE-2018-7182 | 3 Canonical, Netapp, Ntp | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Element Software, Ntp | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
The ctl_getitem method in ntpd in ntp-4.2.8p6 before 4.2.8p11 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted mode 6 packet with a ntpd instance from 4.2.8p6 through 4.2.8p10. |
