In Apache Struts 2.5 to 2.5.14, the REST Plugin is using an outdated JSON-lib library which is vulnerable and allow perform a DoS attack using malicious request with specially crafted JSON payload.
CVE-2018-1270 | 4 Debian, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more | 29 Debian Linux, Application Testing Suite, Big Data Discovery and 26 more | 2024-09-16 | 9.8 Critical |
Spring Framework, versions 5.0 prior to 5.0.5 and versions 4.3 prior to 4.3.15 and older unsupported versions, allow applications to expose STOMP over WebSocket endpoints with a simple, in-memory STOMP broker through the spring-messaging module. A malicious user (or attacker) can craft a message to the broker that can lead to a remote code execution attack.
CVE-2019-3738 | 3 Dell, Mcafee, Oracle | 16 Bsafe Cert-j, Bsafe Crypto-j, Bsafe Ssl-j and 13 more | 2024-09-16 | 6.5 Medium |
RSA BSAFE Crypto-J versions prior to 6.2.5 are vulnerable to a Missing Required Cryptographic Step vulnerability. A malicious remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability to coerce two parties into computing the same predictable shared key.
CVE-2019-3739 | 2 Dell, Oracle | 16 Bsafe Cert-j, Bsafe Crypto-j, Bsafe Ssl-j and 13 more | 2024-09-16 | 6.5 Medium |

CVE-2018-15756 | 4 Debian, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more | 42 Debian Linux, Agile Plm, Communications Brm - Elastic Charging Engine and 39 more | 2024-09-16 | 7.5 High |
Spring Framework, version 5.1, versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.10, versions 4.3.x prior to 4.3.20, and older unsupported versions on the 4.2.x branch provide support for range requests when serving static resources through the ResourceHttpRequestHandler, or starting in 5.0 when an annotated controller returns an org.springframework.core.io.Resource. A malicious user (or attacker) can add a range header with a high number of ranges, or with wide ranges that overlap, or both, for a denial of service attack. This vulnerability affects applications that depend on either spring-webmvc or spring-webflux. Such applications must also have a registration for serving static resources (e.g. JS, CSS, images, and others), or have an annotated controller that returns an org.springframework.core.io.Resource. Spring Boot applications that depend on spring-boot-starter-web or spring-boot-starter-webflux are ready to serve static resources out of the box and are therefore vulnerable.
CVE-2018-11797 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more | 4 Pdfbox, Fedora, Retail Xstore Point Of Service and 1 more | 2024-09-16 | 5.5 Medium |

CVE-2018-1199 | 3 Oracle, Redhat, Vmware | 6 Rapid Planning, Retail Xstore Point Of Service, Fuse and 3 more | 2024-09-16 | 5.3 Medium |
Spring Security (Spring Security 4.1.x before 4.1.5, 4.2.x before 4.2.4, and 5.0.x before 5.0.1; and Spring Framework 4.3.x before 4.3.14 and 5.0.x before 5.0.3) does not consider URL path parameters when processing security constraints. By adding a URL path parameter with special encodings, an attacker may be able to bypass a security constraint. The root cause of this issue is a lack of clarity regarding the handling of path parameters in the Servlet Specification. Some Servlet containers include path parameters in the value returned for getPathInfo() and some do not. Spring Security uses the value returned by getPathInfo() as part of the process of mapping requests to security constraints. In this particular attack, different character encodings used in path parameters allows secured Spring MVC static resource URLs to be bypassed.
CVE-2017-9735 | 3 Debian, Eclipse, Oracle | 7 Debian Linux, Jetty, Communications Cloud Native Core Policy and 4 more | 2024-08-05 | 7.5 High |
Jetty through 9.4.x is prone to a timing channel in util/security/Password.java, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain access by observing elapsed times before rejection of incorrect passwords.
CVE-2017-7657 | 6 Debian, Eclipse, Hp and 3 more | 20 Debian Linux, Jetty, Xp P9000 and 17 more | 2024-08-05 | 9.8 Critical |
In Eclipse Jetty, versions 9.2.x and older, 9.3.x (all configurations), and 9.4.x (non-default configuration with RFC2616 compliance enabled), transfer-encoding chunks are handled poorly. The chunk length parsing was vulnerable to an integer overflow. Thus a large chunk size could be interpreted as a smaller chunk size and content sent as chunk body could be interpreted as a pipelined request. If Jetty was deployed behind an intermediary that imposed some authorization and that intermediary allowed arbitrarily large chunks to be passed on unchanged, then this flaw could be used to bypass the authorization imposed by the intermediary as the fake pipelined request would not be interpreted by the intermediary as a request.
CVE-2017-7658 | 6 Debian, Eclipse, Hp and 3 more | 21 Debian Linux, Jetty, Xp P9000 and 18 more | 2024-08-05 | 9.8 Critical |
In Eclipse Jetty Server, versions 9.2.x and older, 9.3.x (all non HTTP/1.x configurations), and 9.4.x (all HTTP/1.x configurations), when presented with two content-lengths headers, Jetty ignored the second. When presented with a content-length and a chunked encoding header, the content-length was ignored (as per RFC 2616). If an intermediary decided on the shorter length, but still passed on the longer body, then body content could be interpreted by Jetty as a pipelined request. If the intermediary was imposing authorization, the fake pipelined request would bypass that authorization.
CVE-2018-1000180 | 5 Bouncycastle, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 24 Fips Java Api, Legion-of-the-bouncy-castle-java-crytography-api, Debian Linux and 21 more | 2024-08-05 | N/A |
Bouncy Castle BC 1.54 - 1.59, BC-FJA 1.0.0, BC-FJA 1.0.1 and earlier have a flaw in the Low-level interface to RSA key pair generator, specifically RSA Key Pairs generated in low-level API with added certainty may have less M-R tests than expected. This appears to be fixed in versions BC 1.60 beta 4 and later, BC-FJA 1.0.2 and later.
CVE-2018-12536 | 3 Eclipse, Oracle, Redhat | 3 Jetty, Retail Xstore Point Of Service, Jboss Fuse | 2024-08-05 | 5.3 Medium |
In Eclipse Jetty Server, all 9.x versions, on webapps deployed using default Error Handling, when an intentionally bad query arrives that doesn't match a dynamic url-pattern, and is eventually handled by the DefaultServlet's static file serving, the bad characters can trigger a java.nio.file.InvalidPathException which includes the full path to the base resource directory that the DefaultServlet and/or webapp is using. If this InvalidPathException is then handled by the default Error Handler, the InvalidPathException message is included in the error response, revealing the full server path to the requesting system.
CVE-2018-10237 | 3 Google, Oracle, Redhat | 21 Guava, Banking Payments, Communications Ip Service Activator and 18 more | 2024-08-05 | 5.9 Medium |
Unbounded memory allocation in Google Guava 11.0 through 24.x before 24.1.1 allows remote attackers to conduct denial of service attacks against servers that depend on this library and deserialize attacker-provided data, because the AtomicDoubleArray class (when serialized with Java serialization) and the CompoundOrdering class (when serialized with GWT serialization) perform eager allocation without appropriate checks on what a client has sent and whether the data size is reasonable.
CVE-2019-20330 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 40 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Active Iq Unified Manager and 37 more | 2024-08-05 | 9.8 Critical |
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.2 lacks certain net.sf.ehcache blocking.
