CVSS v3.1 |
An information disclosure flaw was found in OpenShift's internal image registry operator. The AZURE_CLIENT_SECRET can be exposed through an environment variable defined in the pod definition, but is limited to Azure environments. An attacker controlling an account that has high enough permissions to obtain pod information from the openshift-image-registry namespace could use this obtained client secret to perform actions as the registry operator's Azure service account.
Westermo EDW-100 devices through 2024-05-03 allow an unauthenticated user to download a configuration file containing a cleartext password. NOTE: this is a serial-to-Ethernet converter that should not be placed at the edge of the network.
This vulnerability allows an attacker to access parts of the application that are not protected by any type of access control. The attacker could access this path ‘…/epsilonnet/License/About.aspx’ and obtain information on both the licence and the configuration of the product by knowing which modules are installed.
An insufficient implementation of cache vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks Prisma® Access Browser enables users to bypass certain data control policies.
Database scanning using username and password stores the credentials in plaintext or encoded format within files at the endpoint. This has been identified as a significant security risk. This will lead to exposure of sensitive information for unauthorized access, potentially leading to severe consequences such as data breaches, unauthorized data manipulation, and compromised system integrity.
Trivy is a security scanner. Prior to 0.51.2, if a malicious actor is able to trigger Trivy to scan container images from a crafted malicious registry, it could result in the leakage of credentials for legitimate registries such as AWS Elastic Container Registry (ECR), Google Cloud Artifact/Container Registry, or Azure Container Registry (ACR). These tokens can then be used to push/pull images from those registries to which the identity/user running Trivy has access. Systems are not affected if the default credential provider chain is unable to obtain valid credentials. This vulnerability only applies when scanning container images directly from a registry. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.51.2.
Onyxia is a data science environment for kubernetes. In versions 4.6.0 through 4.8.0, Onyxia-API leaked the credentials of private helm repositories in the public (unauthenticated) /public/catalogs endpoint.vOnly instances using private helm repositories (i.e setting username & password in the catalogs configuration) are affected. This is fixed in version 4.9.0.
When a user logs in via SAP Business One native client, the SLD backend service fails to enforce proper encryption of certain APIs. This leads to exposure of sensitive credentials within http response body. As a result, it has a high impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the application.
A vulnerability was found in the quarkus-core component. Quarkus captures local environment variables from the Quarkus namespace during the application's build, therefore, running the resulting application inherits the values captured at build time. Some local environment variables may have been set by the developer or CI environment for testing purposes, such as dropping the database during application startup or trusting all TLS certificates to accept self-signed certificates. If these properties are configured using environment variables or the .env facility, they are captured into the built application, which can lead to dangerous behavior if the application does not override these values. This behavior only happens for configuration properties from the `quarkus.*` namespace. Application-specific properties are not captured.
In Puppet Enterprise versions 2025.4.0 and 2025.5, the encryption key used for encrypting content in the Infra Assistant database was not excluded from the files gathered by Puppet backup. The key is only present on the system if the user has a Puppet Enterprise Advanced license and has enabled the Infra Assistant feature. The key is used for encrypting one particular bit of data in the Infra Assistant database: the API key for their AI provider account. This has been fixed in Puppet Enterprise version 2025.6, and release notes for 2025.6 have remediation steps for users of affected versions who can't update to the latest version.
The Janssen Project is an open-source identity and access management (IAM) platform. In versions 1.9.0 and below, Janssen stores passwords in plaintext in the local cli_cmd.log file. This is fixed in the nightly prerelease.
ZBL EPON ONU Broadband Router V100R001 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows limited administrative users to elevate access by sending requests to configuration endpoints. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by accessing the configuration backup or password page to disclose the super user password and gain additional privileged functionalities.
Information Exposure vulnerability in Hitachi JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Smart Device Manager on Windows. This issue affects JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Smart Device Manager: from 12-00 before 12-00-08, from 11-10 through 11-10-08, from 11-00 through 11-00-05, from 10-50 through 10-50-06.
A vulnerability was detected in iteachyou Dreamer CMS up to 4.1.3.2. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /admin/user/updatePwd. Performing manipulation results in weak password requirements. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is assessed as difficult. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
RevelaCode is an AI-powered faith-tech project that decodes biblical verses, prophecies and global events into accessible language. In versions below 1.0.1, a valid MongoDB Atlas URI with embedded username and password was accidentally committed to the public repository. This could allow unauthorized access to production or staging databases, potentially leading to data exfiltration, modification, or deletion. This is fixed in version 1.0.1. Workarounds include: immediately rotating credentials for the exposed database user, using a secret manager (like Vault, Doppler, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.) instead of storing secrets directly in code, or auditing recent access logs for suspicious activity.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in SunGrow Logger1000 01_A. This issue affects some unknown processing. The manipulation leads to weak password requirements. The attack may be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
GenX_FX is an advance IA trading platform that will focus on forex trading. A vulnerability was identified in the GenX FX backend where API keys and authentication tokens may be exposed if environment variables are misconfigured. Unauthorized users could gain access to cloud resources (Google Cloud, Firebase, GitHub, etc.).
| The product transmits or stores authentication credentials, but it uses an insecure method that is susceptible to unauthorized interception and/or retrieval. (CWE-522)
Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Data Integration & Analytics versions before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.8, including 8.3.x, discloses database passwords when saving connections to RedShift.
Products must not disclose sensitive information without cause. Disclosure of sensitive information can lead to further exploitation. |
When a Java command with password parameters is executed and terminated by NeuVector for Process rule violation the password will appear in the NeuVector security event log.
The webserver utilizes basic authentication for its user login to the configuration interface. As encryption is disabled on port 80, it enables potential eavesdropping on user traffic, making it possible to intercept their credentials.
