OpenCTI is an open source platform for managing cyber threat intelligence knowledge and observables. Prior to 7.260701.0, the synchronizerFetch GraphQL query called fetchRemoteStreams after checking only that a remote stream URL used HTTP or HTTPS. The backend did not apply the ingestion deny list or reject private, loopback, and link-local destinations, allowing an authenticated account with the INGESTION capability to make OpenCTI request internal services and cloud metadata endpoints. Returned connection errors could distinguish open HTTP ports, open non-HTTP ports, and closed ports, enabling internal network scanning, while compatible endpoint responses could disclose internal data. This issue is fixed in version 7.260701.0.

A flaw was found in QEMU. If the QIOChannelWebsock object is freed while it is waiting to complete a handshake, a GSource is leaked. This can lead to the callback firing later on and triggering a use-after-free in the use of the channel. This can be abused by a malicious client with network access to the VNC WebSocket port to cause a denial of service during the WebSocket handshake prior to the VNC client authentication.

Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6 and from 1.15.0 until 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package insufficiently validates mkdocs.yml supplied by an authenticated user who can register or modify a TechDocs source. Unsafe Python YAML tags, markdown_extensions names and configuration, theme options, and extra_templates values can reach the documentation generator and cause unintended code execution. The resulting impact is limited to the files, credentials, network access, and other resources available to the TechDocs backend or build container. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4.

A vulnerability was found in Golang FIPS OpenSSL. This flaw allows a malicious user to randomly cause an uninitialized buffer length variable with a zeroed buffer to be returned in FIPS mode. It may also be possible to force a false positive match between non-equal hashes when comparing a trusted computed hmac sum to an untrusted input sum if an attacker can send a zeroed buffer in place of a pre-computed sum.  It is also possible to force a derived key to be all zeros instead of an unpredictable value.  This may have follow-on implications for the Go TLS stack.

RestrictedPython is a tool that helps define a subset of the Python language for accepting program input in a trusted environment. Prior to 8.4, RestrictedPython could allow a sandbox escape when a custom import policy or globals exposed the standard library string module, the string.Formatter class, a Formatter instance, or a Formatter subclass to restricted code. The string.Formatter methods format, get_field, get_value, and vformat performed attribute and item traversal internally without passing through RestrictedPython's safer_getattr protections. Restricted code could use those live object references to reach function globals, builtins, file access, or code execution primitives, affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability in the host environment. This issue is fixed in version 8.4.

FileRise before version 3.28.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated low-privilege attackers to gain unauthorized read and write access by exploiting improper session isolation between the WebDAV interface and the web application session context. Attackers can combine valid Basic-Auth credentials with an active admin PHPSESSID cookie to bypass authorization boundaries, as the WebDAV layer incorrectly inherits elevated privileges from an ambient web session rather than enforcing independent stateless authentication per RFC 4918.
