CVSS v3.1 |
An arbitrary file download vulnerability in the downloadAction() function of Penta Security Systems Inc WAPPLES v6.0 r3 4.10-hotfix1 allows attackers to download arbitrary files via a crafted POST request.
A credentials leak was found in the OpenShift Container Platform. The private key for the external cluster certificate was stored incorrectly in the oauth-serving-cert ConfigMaps, and accessible to any authenticated OpenShift user or service-account. A malicious user could exploit this flaw by reading the oauth-serving-cert ConfigMap in the openshift-config-managed namespace, compromising any web traffic secured using that certificate.
Certain EMCO Software products are affected by: CWE-494: Download of Code Without Integrity Check. This affects MSI Package Builder for Windows 9.1.4 and Remote Installer for Windows 6.0.13 and Ping Monitor for Windows 8.0.18 and Remote Shutdown for Windows 7.2.2 and WakeOnLan 2.0.8 and Network Inventory for Windows 5.8.22 and Network Software Scanner for Windows 2.0.8 and UnLock IT for Windows 6.1.1. The impact is: execute arbitrary code (remote). The component is: Updater. The attack vector is: To exploit this vulnerability, a user must trigger an update of an affected installation of EMCO Software. ¶¶ Multiple products from EMCO Software are affected by a remote code execution vulnerability during the update process.
In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2021.3.3 it was possible to get passwords from protected fields
Caphyon Ltd Advanced Installer 19.3 and earlier and many products that use the updater from Advanced Installer (Advanced Updater) are affected by a remote code execution vulnerability via the CustomDetection parameter in the update check function. To exploit this vulnerability, a user must start an affected installation to trigger the update check.
ZZ Inc. KeyMouse Windows 3.08 and prior is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability during an unauthenticated update. To exploit this vulnerability, a user must trigger an update of an affected installation of KeyMouse.
IOBit Advanced System Care 15, iTop Screen Recorder 2.1, iTop VPN 3.2, Driver Booster 9, and iTop Screenshot sends HTTP requests in their update procedure in order to download a config file. After downloading the config file, the products will parse the HTTP location of the update from the file and will try to install the update automatically with ADMIN privileges. An attacker Intercepting this communication can supply the product a fake config file with malicious locations for the updates thus gaining a remote code execution on an endpoint.
A vulnerability in Kibana could expose sensitive information related to Elastic Stack monitoring in the Kibana page source. Elastic Stack monitoring features provide a way to keep a pulse on the health and performance of your Elasticsearch cluster. Authentication with a vulnerable Kibana instance is not required to view the exposed information. The Elastic Stack monitoring exposure only impacts users that have set any of the optional monitoring.ui.elasticsearch.* settings in order to configure Kibana as a remote UI for Elastic Stack Monitoring. The same vulnerability in Kibana could expose other non-sensitive application-internal information in the page source.
containerd is a container runtime available as a daemon for Linux and Windows. A bug was found in containerd prior to versions 1.6.1, 1.5.10, and 1.14.12 where containers launched through containerd’s CRI implementation on Linux with a specially-crafted image configuration could gain access to read-only copies of arbitrary files and directories on the host. This may bypass any policy-based enforcement on container setup (including a Kubernetes Pod Security Policy) and expose potentially sensitive information. Kubernetes and crictl can both be configured to use containerd’s CRI implementation. This bug has been fixed in containerd 1.6.1, 1.5.10, and 1.4.12. Users should update to these versions to resolve the issue.
A vulnerability in Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to view sensitive information on an affected system. This vulnerability is due to insufficient file system restrictions. An authenticated attacker with netadmin privileges could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the vshell of an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read sensitive information on the underlying operating system.
A vulnerability in the web management interface of Cisco Secure Email and Web Manager, formerly Cisco Security Management Appliance (SMA), and Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to retrieve sensitive information from a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) external authentication server connected to an affected device. This vulnerability is due to a lack of proper input sanitization while querying the external authentication server. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted query through an external authentication web page. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain access to sensitive information, including user credentials from the external authentication server. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need valid operator-level (or higher) credentials.
A flaw was found in the Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes. Notifier secrets were not properly sanitized in the GraphQL API. This flaw allows authenticated ACS users to retrieve Notifiers from the GraphQL API, revealing secrets that can escalate their privileges.
An arbitrary file download vulnerability in Oliver v5 Library Server Versions < 5.00.008.053 via the FileServlet function allows for arbitrary file download by an attacker using unsanitized user supplied input.
In Tipask < 3.5.9, path parameters entered by the user are not validated when downloading attachments, a registered user can download arbitrary files on the Tipask server such as .env, /etc/passwd, laravel.log, causing infomation leakage.
An Improper Input Validation vulnerability in the Product Update feature of Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools for Linux allows a man-in-the-middle attacker to abuse the DownloadFile function of the Product Update to achieve remote code execution. This issue affects: Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools for Linux versions prior to 6.2.21.155.
In cPanel before 96.0.13, fix_cpanel_perl lacks verification of the integrity of downloads (SEC-587).
A vulnerability exists in the file upload validation part of Hitachi Energy TXpert Hub CoreTec 4 product. The vulnerability allows an attacker or malicious agent who manages to gain access to the system and obtain an account with sufficient privilege to upload a malicious firmware to the product. This issue affects: Hitachi Energy TXpert Hub CoreTec 4 version 2.0.0; 2.0.1; 2.1.0; 2.1.1; 2.1.2; 2.1.3; 2.2.0; 2.2.1.
Tencent GameLoop before 4.1.21.90 downloaded updates over an insecure HTTP connection. A malicious attacker in an MITM position could spoof the contents of an XML document describing an update package, replacing a download URL with one pointing to an arbitrary Windows executable. Because the only integrity check would be a comparison of the downloaded file's MD5 checksum to the one contained within the XML document, the downloaded executable would then be executed on the victim's machine.
A logic issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.4, Security Update 2021-003 Catalina, Security Update 2021-004 Mojave. A malicious application may bypass Gatekeeper checks.
This issue was addressed with improved handling of file metadata. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.3. A malicious application may bypass Gatekeeper checks.
