| Missing Authorization vulnerability in Sparkle WP Editorialmag editorialmag. This issue affects Editorialmag: from n/a through 1.1.9. |
| A vulnerability exists in the NodeRestriction admission controller in Kubernetes clusters where node users can delete their corresponding node object by patching themselves with an OwnerReference to a cluster-scoped resource. If the OwnerReference resource does not exist or is subsequently deleted, the given node object will be deleted via garbage collection. |
| iDS6 DSSPro Digital Signage System 6.2 contains an improper access control vulnerability that allows authenticated users to elevate privileges through console JavaScript functions. Attackers can create users, modify roles and permissions, and potentially achieve full application takeover by exploiting insecure direct object references. |
| The Editorial Assistant by Sovrn plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the 'ajax_zemanta_set_featured_image' function in versions up to, and including, 1.3.3. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload attachment files (such as jpg, png, txt, zip), and set the post featured image. |
| Broken access control in Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT prior to 7.8.1 allows an attacker to create a denial of service situation when configured to use GoAnywhere One-Time Password (GOTP) email two-factor authentication (2FA) and the user has not set an email address. In this scenario, the attacker may enter the email address of a known user when prompted and the user will be disabled if that user has configured GOTP. |
| SunGrow's back end users system iSolarCloud https://isolarcloud.com uses an MQTT service to transport data from the user's connected devices to the user's web browser.
The MQTT server however did not have sufficient restrictions in place to limit the topics that a user could subscribe to.
While the data that is transmitted through the MQTT server is encrypted and the credentials for the MQTT server are obtained though an API call, the credentials could be used to subscribe to any topic and the encryption key can be used to decrypt all messages received.
An attack with an account on iSolarCloud.com could extract MQTT credentials and the decryption key from the browser and then use an external program to subscribe to the topic '#' and thus recieve all messages from all connected devices. |
| Missing Authorization vulnerability in Jegstudio Gutenverse News – Advanced News Magazine Blog Gutenberg Blocks Addons gutenverse-news allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Gutenverse News – Advanced News Magazine Blog Gutenberg Blocks Addons: from n/a through <= 3.0.2. |
| A vulnerability exists in the web-authentication component of the SDM600. If exploited an attacker could escalate privileges on af-fected installations. |
| Zincati is an auto-update agent for Fedora CoreOS hosts. Zincati ships a polkit rule which allows the `zincati` system user to use the actions `org.projectatomic.rpmostree1.deploy` to deploy updates to the system and `org.projectatomic.rpmostree1.finalize-deployment` to reboot the system into the deployed update. Since Zincati v0.0.24, this polkit rule contains a logic error which broadens access of those polkit actions to any unprivileged user rather than just the `zincati` system user. In practice, this means that any unprivileged user with access to the system D-Bus socket is able to deploy older Fedora CoreOS versions (which may have other known vulnerabilities). Note that rpm-ostree enforces that the selected version must be from the same branch the system is currently on so this cannot directly be used to deploy an attacker-controlled update payload. This primarily impacts users running untrusted workloads with access to the system D-Bus socket. Note that in general, untrusted workloads should not be given this access, whether containerized or not. By default, containers do not have access to the system D-Bus socket. The logic error is fixed in Zincati v0.0.30. A workaround is to manually add a following polkit rule, instructions for which are available in the GitHub Security Advisory. |
| Missing Authorization vulnerability in Essential Plugin Slider a SlidersPack allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Slider a SlidersPack: from n/a before 2.3. |
| Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. In versions below 1.3.20, 1.4.0-dev.585 through 1.4.12, 1.5.0-dev.636 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0-dev.754 through 1.6.7, 1.7.0-pr.251.885 through 1.7.8 and 1.8.0-dev.909 through 1.8.4, an authentication bypass vulnerability allows any unauthenticated attacker to impersonate any ActivityPub actor by sending forged activities signed with their own keys. Activities are processed before verifying the signing key belongs to the claimed actor, enabling complete actor impersonation across all Fedify instances. This is fixed in versions 1.3.20, 1.4.13, 1.5.5, 1.6.8, 1.7.9 and 1.8.5. |
| Missing Authorization vulnerability in WriterSystem WooCommerce Easy Duplicate Product. This issue affects WooCommerce Easy Duplicate Product: from n/a through 0.3.0.7. |
| NVIDIA Delegated Licensing Service for all appliance platforms contains a vulnerability where an attacker may cause an unauthorized action. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to partial denial of service and confidential information disclosure. |
| SAP S/4HANA (Manage Processing Rules - For Bank Statements) allows an authenticated attacker with basic privileges to delete conditions from any shared rule of any user by tampering the request parameter. Due to missing authorization check, the attacker can delete shared rule conditions that should be restricted, compromising the integrity of the application without affecting its confidentiality or availability. |
| The com.epson.InstallNavi.helper tool, deployed with the EPSON printer driver installer, contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to multiple flaws in its implementation. It fails to properly authenticate clients over the XPC protocol and does not correctly enforce macOS’s authorization model, exposing privileged functionality to untrusted users. Although it invokes the AuthorizationCopyRights API, it does so using overly permissive custom rights that it registers in the system’s authorization database (/var/db/auth.db).
These rights can be requested and granted by the authorization daemon to any local user, regardless of privilege level. As a result, an attacker can exploit the vulnerable service to perform privileged operations such as executing arbitrary commands or installing system components without requiring administrative credentials. |
| Broken access control vulnerability in the IcProgress Innovación y Cualificación plugin. This vulnerability allows an attacker to obtain sensitive information about other users such as public IP addresses, messages with other users and more. |
| An issue in Flipsnack v.18/03/2024 allows a local attacker to obtain sensitive information via the reader.gz.js file. |
| The AI Infographic Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the qcld_openai_title_generate_desc AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.4. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary post titles. |
| The AI Quiz | Quiz Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the ai_quiz_update_style() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site. |
| In the System → Maintenance tool, the Logged Users tab surfaces sessionId data for all users via the Direct Web Remoting API (UserSessionAjax.getSessionList.dwr) calls. While this is information that would and should be available to admins who possess "Sign In As" powers, admins who otherwise lack this privilege would still be able to utilize the session IDs to imitate other users.
While this is a very small attack vector that requires very high permissions to execute, its danger lies principally in obfuscating attribution; all Sign In As operations are attributed appropriately in the log files, and a malicious administrator could use this information to render their dealings untraceable — including those admins who have not been granted this ability — such as by using a session ID to generate an API token.
Fixed in: 24.07.12 / 23.01.20 LTS / 23.10.24v13 LTS / 24.04.24v5 LTS
This was the original found by researcher Zakaria Agharghar.
