CVE-2023-52289 1 Sujeetkv 1 Flaskcode 2024-08-02 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in the flaskcode package through 0.0.8 for Python. An unauthenticated directory traversal, exploitable with a POST request to a /update-resource-data/<file_path> URI (from views.py), allows attackers to write to arbitrary files.
CVE-2023-52288 1 Sujeetkv 1 Flaskcode 2024-08-02 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in the flaskcode package through 0.0.8 for Python. An unauthenticated directory traversal, exploitable with a GET request to a /resource-data/<file_path>.txt URI (from views.py), allows attackers to read arbitrary files.
CVE-2023-52138 1 Mate-desktop 1 Engrampa 2024-08-02 8.2 High
Engrampa is an archive manager for the MATE environment. Engrampa is found to be vulnerable to a Path Traversal vulnerability that can be leveraged to achieve full Remote Command Execution (RCE) on the target. While handling CPIO archives, the Engrampa Archive manager follows symlink, cpio by default will follow stored symlinks while extracting and the Archiver will not check the symlink location, which leads to arbitrary file writes to unintended locations. When the victim extracts the archive, the attacker can craft a malicious cpio or ISO archive to achieve RCE on the target system. This vulnerability was fixed in commit 63d5dfa.
CVE-2023-52144 2024-08-02 5.5 Medium
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in RexTheme Product Feed Manager. This issue affects Product Feed Manager: from n/a through 7.3.15.
CVE-2023-52076 1 Mate-desktop 1 Atril 2024-08-02 8.5 High
Atril Document Viewer is the default document reader of the MATE desktop environment for Linux. A path traversal and arbitrary file write vulnerability exists in versions of Atril prior to 1.26.2. This vulnerability is capable of writing arbitrary files anywhere on the filesystem to which the user opening a crafted document has access. The only limitation is that this vulnerability cannot be exploited to overwrite existing files, but that doesn't stop an attacker from achieving Remote Command Execution on the target system. Version 1.26.2 of Atril contains a patch for this vulnerability.
CVE-2023-52085 1 Wintercms 1 Winter 2024-08-02 3.3 Low
Winter is a free, open-source content management system. Users with access to backend forms that include a ColorPicker FormWidget can provide a value that would then be included without further processing in the compilation of custom stylesheets via LESS. This had the potential to lead to a Local File Inclusion vulnerability. This issue has been patched in v1.2.4.
CVE-2023-51651 1 Amazon 1 Aws Software Development Kit 2024-08-02 6 Medium
AWS SDK for PHP is the Amazon Web Services software development kit for PHP. Within the scope of requests to S3 object keys and/or prefixes containing a Unix double-dot, a URI path traversal is possible. The issue exists in the `buildEndpoint` method in the RestSerializer component of the AWS SDK for PHP v3 prior to 3.288.1. The `buildEndpoint` method relies on the Guzzle Psr7 UriResolver utility, which strips dot segments from the request path in accordance with RFC 3986. Under certain conditions, this could lead to an arbitrary object being accessed. This issue has been patched in version 3.288.1.
CVE-2023-51449 1 Gradio Project 1 Gradio 2024-08-02 5.6 Medium
Gradio is an open-source Python package that allows you to quickly build a demo or web application for your machine learning model, API, or any arbitary Python function. Versions of `gradio` prior to 4.11.0 contained a vulnerability in the `/file` route which made them susceptible to file traversal attacks in which an attacker could access arbitrary files on a machine running a Gradio app with a public URL (e.g. if the demo was created with `share=True`, or on Hugging Face Spaces) if they knew the path of files to look for. This issue has been patched in version 4.11.0.
CVE-2023-51401 2024-08-02 6.3 Medium
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Brainstorm Force Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder allows Relative Path Traversal. This issue affects Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder: from n/a through 1.35.13.
CVE-2023-51364 2024-08-02 8.7 High

CVE-2023-51127 1 Flir 2 Flir Ax8, Flir Ax8 Firmware 2024-08-02 7.5 High
FLIR AX8 thermal sensor cameras up to and including 1.46.16 are vulnerable to Directory Traversal due to improper access restriction. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to obtain arbitrary sensitive file contents by uploading a specially crafted symbolic link file.
CVE-2023-50885 2024-08-02 6.8 Medium
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in AGILELOGIX Store Locator WordPress. This issue affects Store Locator WordPress: from n/a through 1.4.14.
CVE-2023-50916 1 Kyocera 1 Device Manager 2024-08-02 7.2 High
Kyocera Device Manager before 3.1.1213.0 allows NTLM credential exposure during UNC path authentication via a crafted change from a local path to a UNC path. It allows administrators to configure the backup location of the database used by the application. Attempting to change this location to a UNC path via the GUI is rejected due to the use of a \ (backslash) character, which is supposed to be disallowed in a pathname. Intercepting and modifying this request via a proxy, or sending the request directly to the application endpoint, allows UNC paths to be set for the backup location. Once such a location is set, Kyocera Device Manager attempts to confirm access and will try to authenticate to the UNC path; depending on the configuration of the environment, this may authenticate to the UNC with Windows NTLM hashes. This could allow NTLM credential relaying or cracking attacks.
CVE-2023-50731 1 Mindsdb 1 Mindsdb 2024-08-02 9.1 Critical
MindsDB is a SQL Server for artificial intelligence. Prior to version 23.11.4.1, the `put` method in `mindsdb/mindsdb/api/http/namespaces/file.py` does not validate the user-controlled name value, which is used in a temporary file name, which is afterwards opened for writing on lines 122-125, which leads to path injection. Later in the method, the temporary directory is deleted on line 151, but since we can write outside of the directory using the path injection vulnerability, the potentially dangerous file is not deleted. Arbitrary file contents can be written due to `f.write(chunk)` on line 125. Mindsdb does check later on line 149 in the `save_file` method in `file-controller.py` which calls the `_handle_source` method in `file_handler.py` if a file is of one of the types `csv`, `json`, `parquet`, `xls`, or `xlsx`. However, since the check happens after the file has already been written, the files will still exist (and will not be removed due to the path injection described earlier), just the `_handle_source` method will return an error. The same user-controlled source source is used also in another path injection sink on line 138. This leads to another path injection, which allows an attacker to delete any `zip` or `tar.gz` files on the server.
CVE-2023-50449 1 Jfinalcms Project 1 Jfinalcms 2024-08-02 7.5 High
JFinalCMS 5.0.0 could allow a remote attacker to read files via ../ Directory Traversal in the /common/down/file fileKey parameter.
CVE-2023-50255 1 Deepin 1 Deepin-compressor 2024-08-02 9.3 Critical
Deepin-Compressor is the default archive manager of Deepin Linux OS. Prior to 5.12.21, there's a path traversal vulnerability in deepin-compressor that can be exploited to achieve Remote Command Execution on the target system upon opening crafted archives. Users are advised to update to version 5.12.21 which addresses the issue. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
