CVSS v3.1 |
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of NIKON NIS-Elements Viewer 1.2100.1483.0. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of PSD images. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-15135.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of NIKON NIS-Elements Viewer 1.2100.1483.0. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of TIF images. Crafted data in a TIF file can trigger a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-15166.

A flaw was found in upx canPack in p_lx_elf.cpp in UPX 3.96. This flaw allows attackers to cause a denial of service (SEGV or buffer overflow and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impacts via a crafted ELF. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
A heap-based buffer overflows was discovered in upx, during the generic pointer 'p' points to an inaccessible address in func get_le32(). The problem is essentially caused in PackLinuxElf32::elf_lookup() at p_lx_elf.cpp:5349
A heap-based buffer overflow issue was discovered in UPX in PackTmt::pack() in p_tmt.cpp file. The flow allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (abort) via a crafted file.
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in upx, during the generic pointer 'p' points to an inaccessible address in func get_le32(). The problem is essentially caused in PackLinuxElf32::elf_lookup() at p_lx_elf.cpp:5382.

A heap-based buffer overflows was discovered in upx, during the generic pointer 'p' points to an inaccessible address in func get_le32(). The problem is essentially caused in PackLinuxElf64::elf_lookup() at p_lx_elf.cpp:5404
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in upx, during the variable 'bucket' points to an inaccessible address. The issue is being triggered in the function PackLinuxElf64::invert_pt_dynamic at p_lx_elf.cpp:5239.
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in upx, during the variable 'bucket' points to an inaccessible address. The issue is being triggered in the function PackLinuxElf32::invert_pt_dynamic at p_lx_elf.cpp:1688.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the ldm_frag_add function in fs/partitions/ldm.c in the Linux kernel 2.6.37.2 and earlier might allow local users to gain privileges or obtain sensitive information via a crafted LDM partition table.
Buffer underflow in the rgbimg module in Python 2.5 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a large ZSIZE value in a black-and-white (aka B/W) RGB image that triggers an invalid pointer dereference.
The audioop module in Python 2.7 and 3.2 does not verify the relationships between size arguments and byte string lengths, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) via crafted arguments, as demonstrated by a call to audioop.reverse with a one-byte string, a different vulnerability than CVE-2010-1634.
Heap-based buffer overflow in Impress in OpenOffice.org (OOo) 2.x and 3.x before 3.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted Truevision TGA (TARGA) file in an ODF or Microsoft Office document.
Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in the browser engine in Mozilla Firefox before 27.0 and SeaMonkey before 2.24 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via vectors related to the MPostWriteBarrier class in js/src/jit/MIR.h and stack alignment in js/src/jit/AsmJS.cpp in OdinMonkey, and unknown other vectors.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the GIFLZWDecompressor::GIFLZWDecompressor function in filter.vcl/lgif/decode.cxx in OpenOffice.org (OOo) before 3.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted GIF file, related to LZW decompression.
The internationalization (aka i18n) functionality in Google V8, as used in Google Chrome before 16.0.912.63, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors that trigger an out-of-bounds write.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the jpc_cox_getcompparms function in libjasper/jpc/jpc_cs.c in JasPer 1.900.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted numrlvls value in a coding style default (COD) marker segment in a JPEG2000 file.
