| ActiveSupport::EncryptedFile writes contents that will be encrypted to a
temporary file. The temporary file's permissions are defaulted to the user's
current `umask` settings, meaning that it's possible for other users on the
same system to read the contents of the temporary file.
Attackers that have access to the file system could possibly read the contents
of this temporary file while a user is editing it.
All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the
workarounds immediately. |

This is inconsistent with standard macOS security practices, where applications should have drwxr-xr-x permissions. Incorrect permissions allow for Dylib Hijacking. Guest account, other users and applications can exploit this vulnerability for privilege escalation. | The Claude SDK for Python provides access to the Claude API from Python applications. From version 0.86.0 to before version 0.87.0, the local filesystem memory tool in the Anthropic Python SDK created memory files with mode 0o666, leaving them world-readable on systems with a standard umask and world-writable in environments with a permissive umask such as many Docker base images. A local attacker on a shared host could read persisted agent state, and in containerized deployments could modify memory files to influence subsequent model behavior. Both the synchronous and asynchronous memory tool implementations were affected. This issue has been patched in version 0.87.0. |

This vulnerability allows the user to download any file on the server, including config.json.php with database credentials and overwrite critical system files, leading to remote code execution. Prior to version 2.2.2, a path traversal vulnerability in @tinacms/graphql allows unauthenticated users to write and overwrite arbitrary files within the project root. This is achieved by manipulating the relativePath parameter in GraphQL mutations. The impact includes the ability to replace critical server configuration files and potentially execute arbitrary commands by sabotaging build script. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2. |
