In Trusted Firmware Mbed TLS 2.24.0, a side-channel vulnerability in base64 PEM file decoding allows system-level (administrator) attackers to obtain information about secret RSA keys via a controlled-channel and side-channel attack on software running in isolated environments that can be single stepped, especially Intel SGX.
CVE-2021-23978 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 3 more 2024-08-03 8.8 High
Mozilla developers reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 85 and Firefox ESR 78.7. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 86, Thunderbird < 78.8, and Firefox ESR < 78.8.
CVE-2021-23973 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 3 more 2024-08-03 6.5 Medium
When trying to load a cross-origin resource in an audio/video context a decoding error may have resulted, and the content of that error may have revealed information about the resource. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 86, Thunderbird < 78.8, and Firefox ESR < 78.8.
CVE-2021-23969 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 3 more 2024-08-03 4.3 Medium
As specified in the W3C Content Security Policy draft, when creating a violation report, "User agents need to ensure that the source file is the URL requested by the page, pre-redirects. If that’s not possible, user agents need to strip the URL down to an origin to avoid unintentional leakage." Under certain types of redirects, Firefox incorrectly set the source file to be the destination of the redirects. This was fixed to be the redirect destination's origin. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 86, Thunderbird < 78.8, and Firefox ESR < 78.8.
CVE-2021-23961 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Firefox, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-08-03 7.4 High
Further techniques that built on the slipstream research combined with a malicious webpage could have exposed both an internal network's hosts as well as services running on the user's local machine. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 85.
CVE-2021-23968 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 3 more 2024-08-03 4.3 Medium
If Content Security Policy blocked frame navigation, the full destination of a redirect served in the frame was reported in the violation report; as opposed to the original frame URI. This could be used to leak sensitive information contained in such URIs. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 86, Thunderbird < 78.8, and Firefox ESR < 78.8.
CVE-2021-23926 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 8 Xmlbeans, Debian Linux, Oncommand Unified Manager Core Package and 5 more 2024-08-03 9.1 Critical
The XML parsers used by XMLBeans up to version 2.6.0 did not set the properties needed to protect the user from malicious XML input. Vulnerabilities include possibilities for XML Entity Expansion attacks. Affects XMLBeans up to and including v2.6.0.
CVE-2021-23177 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libarchive and 1 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libarchive and 10 more 2024-08-03 7.8 High
An improper link resolution flaw while extracting an archive can lead to changing the access control list (ACL) of the target of the link. An attacker may provide a malicious archive to a victim user, who would trigger this flaw when trying to extract the archive. A local attacker may use this flaw to change the ACL of a file on the system and gain more privileges.
CVE-2021-23239 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 4 more 2024-08-03 2.5 Low
The sudoedit personality of Sudo before 1.9.5 may allow a local unprivileged user to perform arbitrary directory-existence tests by winning a sudo_edit.c race condition in replacing a user-controlled directory by a symlink to an arbitrary path.
CVE-2021-23225 2 Cacti, Debian 2 Cacti, Debian Linux 2024-08-03 5.4 Medium
Cacti 1.1.38 allows authenticated users with User Management permissions to inject arbitrary web script or HTML in the "new_username" field during creation of a new user via "Copy" method at user_admin.php.
CVE-2021-23215 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Openexr 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Openexr 2024-08-03 5.5 Medium
An integer overflow leading to a heap-buffer overflow was found in the DwaCompressor of OpenEXR in versions before 3.0.1. An attacker could use this flaw to crash an application compiled with OpenEXR.
CVE-2021-22947 9 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 37 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 34 more 2024-08-03 5.9 Medium
When curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 connects to an IMAP or POP3 server to retrieve data using STARTTLS to upgrade to TLS security, the server can respond and send back multiple responses at once that curl caches. curl would then upgrade to TLS but not flush the in-queue of cached responses but instead continue using and trustingthe responses it got *before* the TLS handshake as if they were authenticated.Using this flaw, it allows a Man-In-The-Middle attacker to first inject the fake responses, then pass-through the TLS traffic from the legitimate server and trick curl into sending data back to the user thinking the attacker's injected data comes from the TLS-protected server.
CVE-2021-22939 6 Debian, Netapp, Nodejs and 3 more 11 Debian Linux, Nextgen Api, Node.js and 8 more 2024-08-03 5.3 Medium
If the Node.js https API was used incorrectly and "undefined" was in passed for the "rejectUnauthorized" parameter, no error was returned and connections to servers with an expired certificate would have been accepted.
CVE-2021-22930 5 Debian, Netapp, Nodejs and 2 more 7 Debian Linux, Nextgen Api, Node.js and 4 more 2024-08-03 9.8 Critical
Node.js before 16.6.0, 14.17.4, and 12.22.4 is vulnerable to a use after free attack where an attacker might be able to exploit the memory corruption, to change process behavior.
CVE-2021-22959 4 Debian, Llhttp, Oracle and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Llhttp, Graalvm and 4 more 2024-08-03 6.5 Medium
The parser in accepts requests with a space (SP) right after the header name before the colon. This can lead to HTTP Request Smuggling (HRS) in llhttp < v2.1.4 and < v6.0.6.
CVE-2021-22945 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 25 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 22 more 2024-08-03 9.1 Critical
When sending data to an MQTT server, libcurl <= 7.73.0 and 7.78.0 could in some circumstances erroneously keep a pointer to an already freed memory area and both use that again in a subsequent call to send data and also free it *again*.
CVE-2021-22946 9 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 40 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 37 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
A user can tell curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 to require a successful upgrade to TLS when speaking to an IMAP, POP3 or FTP server (`--ssl-reqd` on the command line or`CURLOPT_USE_SSL` set to `CURLUSESSL_CONTROL` or `CURLUSESSL_ALL` withlibcurl). This requirement could be bypassed if the server would return a properly crafted but perfectly legitimate response. This flaw would then make curl silently continue its operations **withoutTLS** contrary to the instructions and expectations, exposing possibly sensitive data in clear text over the network.
CVE-2021-22960 4 Debian, Llhttp, Oracle and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Llhttp, Graalvm and 4 more 2024-08-03 6.5 Medium
The parse function in llhttp < 2.1.4 and < 6.0.6. ignores chunk extensions when parsing the body of chunked requests. This leads to HTTP Request Smuggling (HRS) under certain conditions.
CVE-2021-22940 6 Debian, Netapp, Nodejs and 3 more 10 Debian Linux, Nextgen Api, Node.js and 7 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
Node.js before 16.6.1, 14.17.5, and 12.22.5 is vulnerable to a use after free attack where an attacker might be able to exploit the memory corruption, to change process behavior.
CVE-2021-22924 8 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 5 more 55 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libcurl and 52 more 2024-08-03 3.7 Low
libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequenttransfers to reuse, if one of them matches the setup.Due to errors in the logic, the config matching function did not take 'issuercert' into account and it compared the involved paths *case insensitively*,which could lead to libcurl reusing wrong connections.File paths are, or can be, case sensitive on many systems but not all, and caneven vary depending on used file systems. The comparison also didn't include the 'issuer cert' which a transfer can setto qualify how to verify the server certificate.
