CVSS v3.1 |
| matrix-rust-sdk is an implementation of a Matrix client-server library in Rust. The `UserIdentity::is_verified()` method in the matrix-sdk-crypto crate before version 0.7.2 doesn't take into account the verification status of the user's own identity while performing the check and may as a result return a value contrary to what is implied by its name and documentation. If the method is used to decide whether to perform sensitive operations towards a user identity, a malicious homeserver could manipulate the outcome in order to make the identity appear trusted. This is not a typical usage of the method, which lowers the impact. The method itself is not used inside the `matrix-sdk-crypto` crate. The 0.7.2 release of the `matrix-sdk-crypto` crate includes a fix. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Tophat is a mobile applications testing harness. An Improper Access Control vulnerability can expose the `TOPHAT_APP_TOKEN` token stored in `~/.tophatrc` through use of a malicious Tophat URL controlled by the attacker. The vulnerability allows Tophat to send this token to the attacker's server without any checks to ensure that the server is trusted. This token can then be used to access internal build artifacts, for mobile applications, not intended to be public. The issue has been patched as of version 1.10.0. The ability to request artifacts using a Tophat API has been deprecated as this flow was inherently insecure. Systems that have implemented this kind of endpoint should cease use and invalidate the token immediately. There are no workarounds and all users should update as soon as possible. |
| An incorrect authentication vulnerability has been found in Socomec Net Vision affecting version 7.20. This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform a brute force attack on the application and recover a valid session, because the application uses a five-digit integer value. |
| pwn.college DOJO is an education platform for learning cybersecurity. Prior to commit 467db0b9ea0d9a929dc89b41f6eb59f7cfc68bef, the /workspace endpoint contains an improper authentication vulnerability that allows an attacker to access any active Windows VM without proper authorization. The vulnerability occurs in the view_desktop function where the user is retrieved via a URL parameter without verifying that the requester has administrative privileges. An attacker can supply any user ID and arbitrary password in the request parameters to impersonate another user. When requesting a Windows desktop service, the function does not validate the supplied password before generating access credentials, allowing the attacker to obtain an iframe source URL that grants full access to the target user's Windows VM. This impacts all users with active Windows VMs, as an attacker can access and modify data on the Windows machine and in the home directory of the associated Linux machine via the Z: drive. This issue has been patched in commit 467db0b9ea0d9a929dc89b41f6eb59f7cfc68bef. No known workarounds exist. |
| Ory Kratos is an identity, user management and authentication system for cloud services. Prior to version 1.3.0, given a number of preconditions, the `highest_available` setting will incorrectly assume that the identity’s highest available AAL is `aal1` even though it really is `aal2`. This means that the `highest_available` configuration will act as if the user has only one factor set up, for that particular user. This means that they can call the settings and whoami endpoint without a `aal2` session, even though that should be disallowed. An attacker would need to steal or guess a valid login OTP of a user who has only OTP for login enabled and who has an incorrect `available_aal` value stored, to exploit this vulnerability. All other aspects of the session (e.g. the session’s aal) are not impacted by this issue. On the Ory Network, only 0.00066% of registered users were affected by this issue, and most of those users appeared to be test users. Their respective AAL values have since been updated and they are no longer vulnerable to this attack. Version 1.3.0 is not affected by this issue. As a workaround, those who require MFA should disable the passwordless code login method. If that is not possible, check the sessions `aal` to identify if the user has `aal1` or `aal2`. |
| symfony/security-bundle is a module for the Symphony PHP framework which provides a tight integration of the Security component into the Symfony full-stack framework. The custom `user_checker` defined on a firewall is not called when Login Programmaticaly with the `Security::login` method, leading to unwanted login. As of versions 6.4.10, 7.0.10 and 7.1.3 the `Security::login` method now ensure to call the configured `user_checker`. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Authentication vulnerability in the mobile application(tech.palm.id)may lead to the risk of information leakage. |
| MallChat v1.0-SNAPSHOT has an authentication bypass vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to access API without any token. |
| VMware SD-WAN Edge contains a missing authentication and protection mechanism vulnerability.
A malicious actor with physical access to the SD-WAN Edge appliance
during activation can potentially exploit this vulnerability to access
the BIOS configuration. In addition, the malicious actor may be able to
exploit the default boot priority configured.
|
| Arbitrary Authentication Relay and Session Hijack vulnerabilities in the deprecated VMware Enhanced Authentication Plug-in (EAP) could allow a malicious actor that could trick a target domain user with EAP installed in their web browser into requesting and relaying service tickets for arbitrary Active Directory Service Principal Names (SPNs). |
| CWE-287: Improper Authentication vulnerability exists that could cause Denial of access to the web interface
when someone on the local network repeatedly requests the /accessdenied URL. |
| ArmorX Android APP's multi-factor authentication (MFA) for the login function is not properly implemented. Remote attackers who obtain user credentials can bypass MFA, allowing them to successfully log into the APP. |
| Authentication Bypass vulnerability in jobx up to v1.0.1-RELEASE allows an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive API without any token via the preHandle function. |
| An authentication bypass vulnerability in anji-plus AJ-Report up to v1.4.2 allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted URL. |
| A vulnerability was identified in the NVDA Remote (version 2.6.4) and Tele NVDA Remote (version 2025.3.3) remote connection add-ons, which allows an attacker to obtain total control of the remote system by guessing a weak password. The problem occurs because these add-ons accept any password entered by the user and do not have an additional authentication or computer verification mechanism. Tests indicate that more than 1,000 systems use easy-to-guess passwords, many with less than 4 to 6 characters, including common sequences. This allows brute force attacks or trial-and-error attempts by malicious invaders. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker who knows or can guess the password used in the connection. As a result, the attacker gains complete access to the affected system and can execute commands, modify files, and compromise user security. |
| A missing authentication mechanism in the web management API components of Shenzhen Zhibotong Electronics ZBT WE2001 23.09.27 allows unauthenticated attackers on the local network to modify router and network configurations. By invoking operations whose names end with "*_nocommit" and supplying the parameters expected by the invoked function, an attacker can change configuration data, including SSID, Wi-Fi credentials, and administrative passwords, without authentication or an existing session. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting'), Improper Authentication vulnerability in Soliloquy Team Slider by Soliloquy allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).This issue affects Slider by Soliloquy: from n/a through 2.7.6. |
| OpenObserve is a cloud-native observability platform. A vulnerability in the user management endpoint `/api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` allows an "Admin" role user to remove a "Root" user from the organization. This violates the intended privilege hierarchy, enabling a non-root user to remove the highest-privileged account. Due to insufficient role checks, the `remove_user_from_org` function does not prevent an "Admin" user from removing a "Root" user. As a result, an attacker with an "Admin" role can remove critical "Root" users, potentially gaining effective full control by eliminating the highest-privileged accounts. The `DELETE /api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` endpoint is affected. This issue has been addressed in release version `0.14.1` and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in OpenText OpenText Directory Services may allow Multi-factor Authentication Bypass in particular scenarios. This issue affects OpenText Directory Services: 24.2. |
| Certain ASUS router models have authentication bypass vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to log in the device. |
