ImageMagick 7.0.8-34 has a "use of uninitialized value" vulnerability in the ReadPANGOImage function in coders/pango.c.
CVE-2019-11833 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
fs/ext4/extents.c in the Linux kernel through 5.1.2 does not zero out the unused memory region in the extent tree block, which might allow local users to obtain sensitive information by reading uninitialized data in the filesystem.
CVE-2019-11694 | 2 Microsoft, Mozilla | 4 Windows, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
A vulnerability exists in the Windows sandbox where an uninitialized value in memory can be leaked to a renderer from a broker when making a call to access an otherwise unavailable file. This results in the potential leaking of information stored at that memory location. *Note: this issue only occurs on Windows. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.7, Firefox < 67, and Firefox ESR < 60.7.
CVE-2019-11498 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2024-08-04 | 6.5 Medium |
WavpackSetConfiguration64 in pack_utils.c in libwavpack.a in WavPack through 5.1.0 has a "Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value" condition, which might allow attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a DFF file that lacks valid sample-rate data.
CVE-2019-3836 | 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Fedora, Gnutls, Leap and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | N/A |
It was discovered in gnutls before version 3.6.7 upstream that there is an uninitialized pointer access in gnutls versions 3.6.3 or later which can be triggered by certain post-handshake messages.
CVE-2020-24455 | 2 Fedoraproject, Tpm2 Software Stack Project | 2 Fedora, Tpm2 Software Stack | 2024-08-04 | 6.7 Medium |
Missing initialization of a variable in the TPM2 source may allow a privileged user to potentially enable an escalation of privilege via local access. This affects tpm2-tss before 3.0.1 and before 2.4.3.
CVE-2020-16288 | 4 Artifex, Canonical, Debian and 1 more | 4 Ghostscript, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
A buffer overflow vulnerability in pj_common_print_page() in devices/gdevpjet.c of Artifex Software GhostScript v9.50 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted PDF file. This is fixed in v9.51.
CVE-2020-16302 | 4 Artifex, Canonical, Debian and 1 more | 4 Ghostscript, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.5 Medium |
A buffer overflow vulnerability in jetp3852_print_page() in devices/gdev3852.c of Artifex Software GhostScript v9.50 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via a crafted PDF file. This is fixed in v9.51.
CVE-2020-13113 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Libexif Project and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libexif and 2 more | 2024-08-04 | 8.2 High |
An issue was discovered in libexif before 0.6.22. Use of uninitialized memory in EXIF Makernote handling could lead to crashes and potential use-after-free conditions.
CVE-2020-6792 | 3 Canonical, Mozilla, Redhat | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-08-04 | 4.3 Medium |
When deriving an identifier for an email message, uninitialized memory was used in addition to the message contents. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.5.
CVE-2020-1934 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 13 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 10 more | 2024-08-04 | 5.3 Medium |
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.0 to 2.4.41, mod_proxy_ftp may use uninitialized memory when proxying to a malicious FTP server.
CVE-2021-40403 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gerbv Project | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Gerbv | 2024-08-04 | 6.3 Medium |
An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the pick-and-place rotation parsing functionality of Gerbv 2.7.0 and dev (commit b5f1eacd), and Gerbv forked 2.8.0. A specially-crafted pick-and-place file can exploit the missing initialization of a structure to leak memory contents. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2023-20226 | 1 Cisco | 28 1100-4g Integrated Services Router, 1100-4gltegb Integrated Services Router, 1100-4gltena Integrated Services Router and 25 more | 2024-08-02 | 8.6 High |
A vulnerability in Application Quality of Experience (AppQoE) and Unified Threat Defense (UTD) on Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to the mishandling of a crafted packet stream through the AppQoE or UTD application. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted packet stream through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.
CVE-2024-32878 | 1 Ggerganov | 1 Llama.cpp | 2024-08-02 | 7.1 High |
Llama.cpp is LLM inference in C/C++. There is a use of uninitialized heap variable vulnerability in gguf_init_from_file, the code will free this uninitialized variable later. In a simple POC, it will directly cause a crash. If the file is carefully constructed, it may be possible to control this uninitialized value and cause arbitrary address free problems. This may further lead to be exploited. Causes llama.cpp to crash (DoS) and may even lead to arbitrary code execution (RCE). This vulnerability has been patched in commit b2740.
