CVSS v3.1 |
| Another “uninitialized variable” code execution vulnerability exists in the Rockwell Automation Arena® that could allow a threat actor to craft a DOE file and force the software to access a variable prior to it being initialized. If exploited, a threat actor could leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. To exploit this vulnerability, a legitimate user must execute the malicious code crafted by the threat actor. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
f2fs: fix to do sanity check on F2FS_INLINE_DATA flag in inode during GC
syzbot reports a f2fs bug as below:
------------[ cut here ]------------
kernel BUG at fs/f2fs/inline.c:258!

The root cause is: inline_data inode can be fuzzed, so that there may
be valid blkaddr in its direct node, once f2fs triggers background GC
to migrate the block, it will hit f2fs_bug_on() during dirty page
writeback.
Let's add sanity check on F2FS_INLINE_DATA flag in inode during GC,
so that, it can forbid migrating inline_data inode's data block for
fixing. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Refactor DMCUB enter/exit idle interface
[Why]
We can hang in place trying to send commands when the DMCUB isn't
powered on.
[How]
We need to exit out of the idle state prior to sending a command,
but the process that performs the exit also invokes a command itself.
Fixing this issue involves the following:
1. Using a software state to track whether or not we need to start
the process to exit idle or notify idle.
It's possible for the hardware to have exited an idle state without
driver knowledge, but entering one is always restricted to a driver
allow - which makes the SW state vs HW state mismatch issue purely one
of optimization, which should seldomly be hit, if at all.
2. Refactor any instances of exit/notify idle to use a single wrapper
that maintains this SW state.
This works simialr to dc_allow_idle_optimizations, but works at the
DMCUB level and makes sure the state is marked prior to any notify/exit
idle so we don't enter an infinite loop.
3. Make sure we exit out of idle prior to sending any commands or
waiting for DMCUB idle.
This patch takes care of 1/2. A future patch will take care of wrapping
DMCUB command submission with calls to this new interface. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Wake DMCUB before executing GPINT commands
[Why]
DMCUB can be in idle when we attempt to interface with the HW through
the GPINT mailbox resulting in a system hang.
[How]
Add dc_wake_and_execute_gpint() to wrap the wake, execute, sleep
sequence.
If the GPINT executes successfully then DMCUB will be put back into
sleep after the optional response is returned.
It functions similar to the inbox command interface. |
| A possible arbitrary file read and SSRF vulnerability has been identified in Apache Kafka Client. Apache Kafka Clients accept configuration data for setting the SASL/OAUTHBEARER connection with the brokers, including "sasl.oauthbearer.token.endpoint.url" and "sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url". Apache Kafka allows clients to read an arbitrary file and return the content in the error log, or sending requests to an unintended location. In applications where Apache Kafka Clients configurations can be specified by an untrusted party, attackers may use the "sasl.oauthbearer.token.endpoint.url" and "sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url" configuratin to read arbitrary contents of the disk and environment variables or make requests to an unintended location. In particular, this flaw may be used in Apache Kafka Connect to escalate from REST API access to filesystem/environment/URL access, which may be undesirable in certain environments, including SaaS products.
Since Apache Kafka 3.9.1/4.0.0, we have added a system property ("-Dorg.apache.kafka.sasl.oauthbearer.allowed.urls") to set the allowed urls in SASL JAAS configuration. In 3.9.1, it accepts all urls by default for backward compatibility. However in 4.0.0 and newer, the default value is empty list and users have to set the allowed urls explicitly. |
| A RCE vulnerability in the core application in LandChat 3.25.12.18 allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute system code via remote network access. |
| Pycel through 1.0b30, when operating on an untrusted spreadsheet, allows code execution via a crafted formula in a cell, such as one beginning with the =IF(A1=200, eval("__import__('os').system( substring. |
| Directory Traversal (Local File Inclusion) vulnerability in Tikit (now Advanced) eMarketing platform 6.8.3.0 allows a remote attacker to read arbitrary files and obtain sensitive information via a crafted payload to the filename parameter to the OpenLogFile endpoint. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in code-projects Food Distributor Site 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /admin/save_settings.php. The manipulation of the argument site_phone/site_email/address leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in code-projects School Fees Payment System 1.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /student.php. The manipulation of the argument sname/contact/about/emailid/transcation_remark leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.178, FreeScout is vulnerable to code injection due to insufficient validation of user input in the php_path parameter. The backticks characters are not removed, as well as tabulation is not removed. When checking user input, the file_exists function is also called to check for the presence of such a file (folder) in the file system. A user with the administrator role can create a translation for the language, which will create a folder in the file system. Further in tools.php, the user can specify the path to this folder as php_path, which will lead to the execution of code in backticks. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.178. |
| FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.178, the application performs insufficient validation of user-supplied data, which is used as arguments to string formatting functions. As a result, an attacker can pass a string containing special symbols (\r, \n, \t)to the application. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.178. |
| EDIMAX CV7428NS v1.20 was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability via the command parameter in the mp function. |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker can alter the device configuration in a way to get remote code execution as root with specific configurations. |
| Phoneservice module is affected by code injection vulnerability, successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect service confidentiality and integrity. |
| A vulnerability was found in code-projects Responsive Blog 1.0/1.12.4/3.3.4. It has been declared as problematic.
