CVE-2018-16860 2 Heimdal Project, Samba 2 Heimdal, Samba 2024-08-05 N/A
A flaw was found in samba's Heimdal KDC implementation, versions 4.8.x up to, excluding 4.8.12, 4.9.x up to, excluding 4.9.8 and 4.10.x up to, excluding 4.10.3, when used in AD DC mode. A man in the middle attacker could use this flaw to intercept the request to the KDC and replace the user name (principal) in the request with any desired user name (principal) that exists in the KDC effectively obtaining a ticket for that principal.
CVE-2018-16857 1 Samba 1 Samba 2024-08-05 N/A
Samba from version 4.9.0 and before version 4.9.3 that have AD DC configurations watching for bad passwords (to restrict brute forcing of passwords) in a window of more than 3 minutes may not watch for bad passwords at all. The primary risk from this issue is with regards to domains that have been upgraded from Samba 4.8 and earlier. In these cases the manual testing done to confirm an organisation's password policies apply as expected may not have been re-done after the upgrade.
CVE-2018-12891 2 Debian, Xen 2 Debian Linux, Xen 2024-08-05 N/A
An issue was discovered in Xen through 4.10.x. Certain PV MMU operations may take a long time to process. For that reason Xen explicitly checks for the need to preempt the current vCPU at certain points. A few rarely taken code paths did bypass such checks. By suitably enforcing the conditions through its own page table contents, a malicious guest may cause such bypasses to be used for an unbounded number of iterations. A malicious or buggy PV guest may cause a Denial of Service (DoS) affecting the entire host. Specifically, it may prevent use of a physical CPU for an indeterminate period of time. All Xen versions from 3.4 onwards are vulnerable. Xen versions 3.3 and earlier are vulnerable to an even wider class of attacks, due to them lacking preemption checks altogether in the affected code paths. Only x86 systems are affected. ARM systems are not affected. Only multi-vCPU x86 PV guests can leverage the vulnerability. x86 HVM or PVH guests as well as x86 single-vCPU PV ones cannot leverage the vulnerability.
CVE-2018-0268 1 Cisco 1 Digital Network Architecture Center 2024-08-05 N/A
A vulnerability in the container management subsystem of Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) Center could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass authentication and gain elevated privileges. This vulnerability is due to an insecure default configuration of the Kubernetes container management subsystem within DNA Center. An attacker who has the ability to access the Kubernetes service port could execute commands with elevated privileges within provisioned containers. A successful exploit could result in a complete compromise of affected containers. This vulnerability affects Cisco DNA Center Software Releases 1.1.3 and prior. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvi47253.
CVE-2019-18838 2 Envoyproxy, Redhat 2 Envoy, Service Mesh 2024-08-05 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in Envoy 1.12.0. Upon receipt of a malformed HTTP request without a Host header, it sends an internally generated "Invalid request" response. This internally generated response is dispatched through the configured encoder filter chain before being sent to the client. An encoder filter that invokes route manager APIs that access a request's Host header causes a NULL pointer dereference, resulting in abnormal termination of the Envoy process.
CVE-2019-15126 2 Apple, Broadcom 15 Ipados, Iphone Os, Mac Os X and 12 more 2024-08-05 3.1 Low
An issue was discovered on Broadcom Wi-Fi client devices. Specifically timed and handcrafted traffic can cause internal errors (related to state transitions) in a WLAN device that lead to improper layer 2 Wi-Fi encryption with a consequent possibility of information disclosure over the air for a discrete set of traffic, a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-9500, CVE-2019-9501, CVE-2019-9502, and CVE-2019-9503.
CVE-2019-14823 3 Jss Cryptomanager Project, Linux, Redhat 10 Jss Cryptomanager, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 7 more 2024-08-05 7.4 High
A flaw was found in the "Leaf and Chain" OCSP policy implementation in JSS' CryptoManager versions after 4.4.6, 4.5.3, 4.6.0, where it implicitly trusted the root certificate of a certificate chain. Applications using this policy may not properly verify the chain and could be vulnerable to attacks such as Man in the Middle.
CVE-2019-12781 4 Canonical, Debian, Djangoproject and 1 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Django and 3 more 2024-08-04 N/A
An issue was discovered in Django 1.11 before 1.11.22, 2.1 before 2.1.10, and 2.2 before 2.2.3. An HTTP request is not redirected to HTTPS when the SECURE_PROXY_SSL_HEADER and SECURE_SSL_REDIRECT settings are used, and the proxy connects to Django via HTTPS. In other words, django.http.HttpRequest.scheme has incorrect behavior when a client uses HTTP.
CVE-2019-11737 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2024-08-04 5.3 Medium
If a wildcard ('*') is specified for the host in Content Security Policy (CSP) directives, any port or path restriction of the directive will be ignored, leading to CSP directives not being properly applied to content. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 69.
CVE-2019-11741 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2024-08-04 6.1 Medium
A compromised sandboxed content process can perform a Universal Cross-site Scripting (UXSS) attack on content from any site it can cause to be loaded in the same process. Because addons.mozilla.org and accounts.firefox.com have close ties to the Firefox product, malicious manipulation of these sites within the browser can potentially be used to modify a user's Firefox configuration. These two sites will now be isolated into their own process and not allowed to be loaded in a standard content process. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 69.
CVE-2019-11738 3 Mozilla, Opensuse, Redhat 4 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Leap and 1 more 2024-08-04 6.3 Medium
If a Content Security Policy (CSP) directive is defined that uses a hash-based source that takes the empty string as input, execution of any javascript: URIs will be allowed. This could allow for malicious JavaScript content to be run, bypassing CSP permissions. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 69 and Firefox ESR < 68.1.
CVE-2019-11747 2 Mozilla, Redhat 3 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Enterprise Linux 2024-08-04 6.5 Medium
The "Forget about this site" feature in the History pane is intended to remove all saved user data that indicates a user has visited a site. This includes removing any HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) settings received from sites that use it. Due to a bug, sites on the pre-load list also have their HSTS setting removed. On the next visit to that site if the user specifies an http: URL rather than secure https: they will not be protected by the pre-loaded HSTS setting. After that visit the site's HSTS setting will be restored. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 69 and Firefox ESR < 68.1.
CVE-2019-11461 1 Gnome 1 Nautilus 2024-08-04 N/A
An issue was discovered in GNOME Nautilus 3.30 prior to 3.30.6 and 3.32 prior to 3.32.1. A compromised thumbnailer may escape the bubblewrap sandbox used to confine thumbnailers by using the TIOCSTI ioctl to push characters into the input buffer of the thumbnailer's controlling terminal, allowing an attacker to escape the sandbox if the thumbnailer has a controlling terminal. This is due to improper filtering of the TIOCSTI ioctl on 64-bit systems, similar to CVE-2019-10063.
CVE-2019-9893 2 Libseccomp Project, Redhat 2 Libseccomp, Enterprise Linux 2024-08-04 N/A
libseccomp before 2.4.0 did not correctly generate 64-bit syscall argument comparisons using the arithmetic operators (LT, GT, LE, GE), which might able to lead to bypassing seccomp filters and potential privilege escalations.
CVE-2019-6446 3 Fedoraproject, Numpy, Redhat 3 Fedora, Numpy, Enterprise Linux 2024-08-04 N/A
An issue was discovered in NumPy 1.16.0 and earlier. It uses the pickle Python module unsafely, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted serialized object, as demonstrated by a numpy.load call. NOTE: third parties dispute this issue because it is a behavior that might have legitimate applications in (for example) loading serialized Python object arrays from trusted and authenticated sources
CVE-2019-6742 1 Samsung 2 Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Firmware 2024-08-04 9.8 Critical
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Samsung Galaxy S9 prior to 1.4.20.2. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the GameServiceReceiver update mechanism. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-7477.
CVE-2019-3894 1 Redhat 3 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Single Sign On, Wildfly 2024-08-04 8.8 High
It was discovered that the ElytronManagedThread in Wildfly's Elytron subsystem in versions from 11 to 16 stores a SecurityIdentity to run the thread as. These threads do not necessarily terminate if the keep alive time has not expired. This could allow a shared thread to use the wrong security identity when executing.
CVE-2019-3806 1 Powerdns 1 Recursor 2024-08-04 8.1 High
An issue has been found in PowerDNS Recursor versions after 4.1.3 before 4.1.9 where Lua hooks are not properly applied to queries received over TCP in some specific combination of settings, possibly bypassing security policies enforced using Lua.
CVE-2019-1353 2 Git-scm, Opensuse 2 Git, Leap 2024-08-04 9.8 Critical
An issue was found in Git before v2.24.1, v2.23.1, v2.22.2, v2.21.1, v2.20.2, v2.19.3, v2.18.2, v2.17.3, v2.16.6, v2.15.4, and v2.14.6. When running Git in the Windows Subsystem for Linux (also known as "WSL") while accessing a working directory on a regular Windows drive, none of the NTFS protections were active.
CVE-2019-0223 2 Apache, Redhat 17 Qpid, A Mq Clients, Cloudforms Managementengine and 14 more 2024-08-04 7.4 High
While investigating bug PROTON-2014, we discovered that under some circumstances Apache Qpid Proton versions 0.9 to 0.27.0 (C library and its language bindings) can connect to a peer anonymously using TLS *even when configured to verify the peer certificate* while used with OpenSSL versions before 1.1.0. This means that an undetected man in the middle attack could be constructed if an attacker can arrange to intercept TLS traffic.
