CVE-2026-97875 2026-09-25 8.1 High
Rojo's "rojo serve" HTTP API (default port 34872) has no Host/Origin header validation, making it vulnerable to DNS rebinding. A malicious webpage can read all project source, write malicious code to files on disk, and launch local programs via opener::open() with no user interaction beyond visiting the page.
CVE-2026-93238 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio-ap: fix potential use of uninitialized apm_filtered bitmap The DECLARE_BITMAP(apm_filtered, AP_DEVICES) macro allocates the bitmap on the stack without zero-initializing it. In vfio_ap_mdev_hot_plug_cfg(), the vfio_ap_mdev_filter_matrix() function is only called to initialize and populate apm_filtered if either filter_adapters or filter_domains is true. If the hot plug configuration change only adds control domains (meaning filter_cdoms is true, but filter_adapters and filter_domains are both false), vfio_ap_mdev_filter_matrix() is bypassed. Consequently, apm_filtered is passed to reset_queues_for_apids() with uninitialized stack garbage. This can cause reset_queues_for_apids() to interpret arbitrary stack garbage bits as valid APIDs to reset, potentially performing unintended guest hardware queue resets. Fix this by zero-initializing the apm_filtered bitmap at the beginning of vfio_ap_mdev_hot_plug_cfg() using bitmap_zero().
CVE-2026-93240 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memcg: make the v1 soft limit knob inert The v1 soft limit has been deprecated since v6.12 and nobody has reported depending on it. Start the removal by decoupling the interface from the implementation: keep memory.soft_limit_in_bytes, but ignore writes to it and always report the maximum value on read similar to what memory.kmem.limit_in_bytes already does. Writes are still parsed, so malformed input keeps returning -EINVAL. The knob now also behaves the same everywhere: it used to return -EOPNOTSUPP on PREEMPT_RT, where soft limit reclaim has always been disabled. This also fixes the syzbot report linked below. Soft limit reclaim is the only caller that runs shrink_lruvec() from kswapd against a specific memcg, so it is the only way to reach lru_gen_shrink_lruvec() and in turn set_mm_walk(), which warns when called from kswapd.
CVE-2026-93269 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix circular lock dependency in ext4_ext_migrate Move iput(tmp_inode) after ext4_writepages_up_write() to avoid a circular lock dependency between s_writepages_rwsem and sb_internal (freeze protection). The deadlock scenario: CPU0 (EXT4_IOC_MIGRATE) CPU1 (orphan cleanup during mount) ---- ---- ext4_ext_migrate() ext4_writepages_down_write() s_writepages_rwsem (write) ext4_evict_inode() sb_start_intwrite() [sb_internal] ... ext4_writepages() s_writepages_rwsem (read) [BLOCKED] iput(tmp_inode) ext4_evict_inode() sb_start_intwrite() [BLOCKED] The tmp_inode is a temporary inode with nlink=0 created solely for building the extent tree. Its eviction does not require s_writepages_rwsem protection, so deferring iput() until after releasing the rwsem is safe.
CVE-2026-93798 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix reloc root cleanup in merge_reloc_roots() If the root we got has zero root refs in its root item, we are resetting the root's ->reloc_root without using barriers like we do everywhere else. Sashiko complained about this while reviewing another patch, and it's correct (see the Link tag below). Also, we should not clear BTRFS_ROOT_DEAD_RELOC_TREE from the root unless the root points to the reloc root we have. Fix this by using clear_reloc_root(), which issues the memory barrier after setting the root's ->reloc_root to NULL and before clearing the bit BTRFS_ROOT_DEAD_RELOC_TREE from the root.
CVE-2026-97444 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 7.7 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ACPICA: add boundary checks in two places Add boundary checks in acpi_ps_get_next_namestring() and acpi_ps_peek_opcode() to prevent out-of-bounds access.
CVE-2026-97504 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: watchdog: lenovo_se10_wdt: Fix use-after-free and resource leak risk Review by sashiko.dev highlighted potential use after free and resource leak instances. Set se10_pdev to null to prevent use after free Remove DMI call back and instead directly call se10_create_platform_device. Handle error cases appropriately
CVE-2026-97520 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gfs2: move quota_init qc iterator increment Move qc++ from the loop body into the for-loop increment expression in gfs2_quota_init(). This keeps iterator progression explicit and avoids mixing pointer advance with duplicate-slot handling in the loop body.
CVE-2026-77825 1 Ibm 2 Contextforge-mcp-gateway, Contextforge Mcp Gateway 2026-09-25 4.9 Medium
IBM ContextForge MCP Gateway 1.0.0 through 1.0.8 was vulnerable to path traversal in its Admin API log-download endpoint (`GET /v1/admin/logs/file`). The path confinement check uses `str.startswith()` rather than proper boundary validation, allowing an authenticated admin to read `.log`, `.jsonl`, and `.json` files outside the configured `LOG_FOLDER` by supplying a filename that resolves into a sibling directory whose absolute path shares the log directory's string prefix.
CVE-2026-98149 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix percpu map update indexing with sparse CPU IDs Per-CPU array, hash, and cgroup storage map updates without BPF_F_CPU or BPF_F_ALL_CPUS use a value buffer whose per-CPU slots are packed in possible-CPU order. The buffer is sized as: round_up(value_size, 8) * num_possible_cpus() The update paths iterate over possible CPUs, but use the logical CPU ID to calculate the source offset: value + size * cpu This only works when possible CPU IDs are contiguous starting at zero. For example, with a possible CPU mask of 0,2-3, the buffer contains three slots corresponding to CPUs 0, 2, and 3. CPU2 is therefore expected to use slot 1 and CPU3 slot 2. Instead, the current code uses slots 2 and 3 respectively, causing incorrect per-CPU values and an out-of-bounds read from the update buffer for CPU3. The corresponding lookup paths already use a dense offset while iterating over possible CPUs. Do the same for the array, hash, and cgroup storage update paths, advancing the source offset once for each possible CPU. BPF_F_ALL_CPUS continues to use the same value for every CPU.
CVE-2026-98134 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: check_cond_jmp_op(): properly infer if register is null Nicholas Carlini reported a bug when verifier can incorrectly infer that a pointer is non-null. The bug occurs when two pointers are compared and one of them has a type w/o PTR_MAYBE_NULL flag, but which allows a value to be NULL at runtime. Here is an example: // `a` is PTR_TO_MEM | MEM_RDONLY | PTR_UNTRUSTED // `a` is 0 at runtime. // `b` is PTR_TO_MAP_VALUE | PTR_MAYBE_NULL void *a = bpf_rdonly_cast(0, 0); int *b = bpf_map_lookup_elem(...); if (a == b) *b = 42; // verifier does not catch null pointer dereference This happens because of a special case in check_cond_jmp_op(), which attempts to strip PTR_MAYBE_NULL flags from pointer types, when processing comparisons like `rA == rB`, if either rA or rB can't be null. The non-null property is derived based on the absence of PTR_MAYBE_NULL flag on rA's or rB's type. But that is not sufficient for types like PTR_TO_MEM, as in the example. This patch replaces type_may_be_null() call with reg_not_null(), which contains an allowlist of types for which absence of PTR_MAYBE_NULL actually means that the value can't be NULL at runtime. At the moment, the list in the reg_not_null() omits two types for which PTR_MAYBE_NULL is applicable: PTR_TO_XDP_SOCK and PTR_TO_BUF. In order to remain backward compatible, and assuming that only comparison between pointers of the same type makes sense, this commit extends reg_not_null(). W/o such an extension e.g. verifier_jeq_infer_not_null/null_ptr_to_map_value fails. reg_not_null() can be extended further, but I deem that out of scope for the fix at hand. Explicit base_type(...) != PTR_TO_BTF_ID checks in the check_cond_jmp_op() can be removed with migration to reg_not_null(), but that is a behavioural change, as the special case would start matching for PTR_TO_BTF_ID that is also is_trusted_reg(). I omit the behavioural change from this commit.
CVE-2026-98129 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpi3mr: Fix NULL pointer dereference in mpi3mr_sas_port_add() sas_port_alloc_num() can return NULL on memory allocation failure. The return value is passed directly to sas_port_add() without a NULL check, which causes a NULL pointer dereference. Additionally, if sas_port_add() fails, the allocated port is not freed before jumping to out_fail, leaking the sas_port structure. Call sas_port_free() to properly release it.
CVE-2026-98120 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix subreq ref leak Fix a subrequest ref leak in netfs_unbuffered_write() in the event that subreq->io_iter ends up zero length during preparation.
CVE-2026-98109 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Fix race condition during device registration In hci_register_dev(), the power_on work item is queued to hdev->req_workqueue before initializing hdev->adv_monitors_idr and registering the MSFT extension via msft_register(). For devices marked with quirks such as HCI_QUIRK_RAW_DEVICE, the HCI_UNCONFIGURED flag is set on the device. When the power_on work item runs concurrently on another CPU, hci_power_on() detects that the device is unconfigured and immediately invokes hci_dev_do_close(), which calls msft_do_close(). Concurrently, msft_register() allocates the msft structure and exposes it to hdev->msft_data prior to calling mutex_init(&msft->filter_lock). If msft_do_close() executes while hdev->msft_data is already assigned but the mutex has not yet been initialized, mutex_lock(&msft->filter_lock) operates on an uninitialized mutex, triggering a DEBUG_LOCKS warning: DEBUG_LOCKS_WARN_ON(lock->magic != lock) WARNING: kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 at __mutex_lock_common kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 [inline] WARNING: kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 at __mutex_lock+0x12d8/0x1550 kernel/locking/mutex.c:821 ... Additionally, assign hdev->msft_data in msft_register() only after mutex_init(&msft->filter_lock) has completed.
CVE-2026-98103 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: igmp: convert struct ip_sf_list to RCU Commit 23d2b94043ca ("igmp: Add ip_mc_list lock in ip_check_mc_rcu") added spin_lock_bh(&im->lock) to ip_check_mc_rcu() to prevent a use-after-free while iterating im->sources during concurrent deletions. However, ip_check_mc_rcu() is called from RCU read-side critical sections in packet receive and route lookup fast paths (e.g. __mkroute_output(), ip_route_input_rcu(), and __udp4_lib_rcv()). When igmpv3_send_cr() or igmpv3_send_report() holds &pmc->lock and calls add_grec() -> igmpv3_newpack() -> ip_route_output_ports(), an XFRM policy matching a multicast destination triggers xfrm_tmpl_resolve_one() -> xfrm4_get_saddr() -> __mkroute_output() -> ip_check_mc_rcu(). This attempts to acquire &im->lock while &pmc->lock is already held on the same CPU, triggering a lockdep recursive locking warning / deadlock. Fix this by converting IPv4 struct ip_sf_list to RCU, mirroring the IPv6 implementation in net/ipv6/mcast.c: 1. Add struct rcu_head to struct ip_sf_list and annotate sf_next, sources, and tomb as __rcu pointers. 2. Use rcu_assign_pointer() and kfree_rcu() for list updates and deletions. 3. Remove spin_lock_bh(&im->lock) from ip_check_mc_rcu() and traverse im->sources locklessly with for_each_psf_rcu(), reading and writing counter fields with READ_ONCE() and WRITE_ONCE(). Note: RCU conversion of /proc/net/mcfilter will be done in a separate patch.
CVE-2026-93247 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: mgmt: fix 'hdev->discovery.uuids' NULL dereference 'uuid_count' member of struct 'discovery_state' is assigned and read without any locks, so there is a chance of situation when uuid_count != 0, but uuids is NULL and there will be NULL pointer dereference. Possible race: 'hci_update_passive_scan_sync' 'hci_discovery_filter_clear' hdev->discovery.uuid_count = 0; <----------------------preempted-----------------------------> 'start_service_discovery' // Set uuid_count to value != 0 hdev->discovery.uuid_count = uuid_count; hdev->discovery.uuids = kmemdup(...); <----------------------preempted-----------------------------> spin_lock(&hdev->discovery.lock); kfree(hdev->discovery.uuids); hdev->discovery.uuids = NULL; spin_unlock(&hdev->discovery.lock); Now uuids == NULL and uuid_count != 0. So 'mgmt_device_found' -> 'is_filter_match' -> 'eir_has_uuids' receives non consistent discovery state, where NULL dereference of uuids happens. To fix it let's add discovery.lock around every read/write of uuid_count, uuids pair of struct members. It is also important to assign uuid_count value only after success kmemdup() allocation in start_service_discovery(), otherwise uuids is NULL, because kmemdup failed, but uuid_count is already assigned to non zero value. CVE-2026-93248 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: don't WARN on kernel job timeout when device already wedged igt@xe_wedged@wedged-at-any-timeout wedges the device in mode 2 (UPON_ANY_HANG_NO_RESET) and then rebinds the driver. During unbind, a GSC proxy kernel submission can still time out; with the device wedged and the GuC CT stopped it can never complete, so its kernel job times out. Tile0: GT1: Kernel-submitted job timed out WARNING: drivers/gpu/drm/xe/xe_guc_submit.c:... at guc_exec_queue_timedout_job() Workqueue: gt-ordered-wq drm_sched_job_timedout Killed queues skip guc_submit_hint_wedged(), leaving 'wedged' false even though the device is already wedged. The timeout handler then treats the kernel queue timeout as unexpected and taints the kernel. Honour an already-wedged device even for killed queues so the expected teardown timeout no longer trips the WARN. (cherry picked from commit a1c1dbd0f047bb05de6aaf6abe9103031179bf19)
CVE-2026-93249 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: amlogic-spisg: Make sure clk_init_data is fully initialized The clk_init_data structure contains several mutually-exclusive members for different methods to specify the possible parents of a clock, prompting drivers to initialize only the members they need. However, not initializing all members may cause subtle issues, which are only exposed when CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL_PATTERN or CONFIG_INIT_STACK_NONE is enabled. aml_spisg_clk_init() fills in init.parent_data, and assumes that init.parent_names is NULL. However, the latter in uninitialized, and thus may cause a crash. Make sure all members are fully initialized, to fix such bugs, and to avoid future breakage when converting drivers to a different method for specifying the parents.
CVE-2026-93250 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: mdb: Fix use-after-free in vxlan_mdb_flush() vxlan_mdb_flush() iterates over the MDB entries using hlist_for_each_entry_safe(), which only tolerates the removal of the current entry. Contrary to the comment above the loop, the removal of an entry can trigger the removal of another entry. Flushing the remotes of a (*, G) entry also removes the (S, G) entries that were created for its source list, once they are left without remotes: vxlan_mdb_remotes_flush() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_del() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_del() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_src_fwd_del() -> __vxlan_mdb_del() -> vxlan_mdb_entry_put() Such an entry can be located after the (*, G) entry in the list, as vxlan_mdb_entry_get() returns an existing entry without moving it to the head of the list. This order is obtained by adding the (S, G) entry before the (*, G) entry, the latter with NLM_F_REPLACE, as the addition of the source otherwise fails with -EEXIST. The (S, G) entry is then the entry saved by hlist_for_each_entry_safe() and it is freed while the (*, G) entry is processed. The next iteration calls hlist_del() on it again, writing LIST_POISON1 to LIST_POISON2 [1]. Besides device deletion, the flush is also reachable from RTM_DELMDB with NLM_F_BULK. Fix by re-reading the next entry after the remotes were flushed. The current entry cannot be removed by this flush, as source lists can only be configured on (*, G) entries and the removed entries are (S, G) entries. It is therefore still linked and its next pointer reflects the removals. CVE-2026-93252 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: fix circular locking dependency in ocfs2_init_acl() A lockdep warning indicates a circular locking dependency between `&oi->ip_xattr_sem` and `&journal->j_trans_barrier`: WARNING: possible circular locking dependency detected is trying to acquire lock: (&oi->ip_xattr_sem){++++}-{4:4}, at: ocfs2_init_acl+0x2fd/0x7e0 fs/ocfs2/acl.c:367 but task is already holding lock: (&journal->j_trans_barrier){.+.+}-{4:4}, at: ocfs2_start_trans+0x3ab/0x700 fs/ocfs2/journal.c:369 The deadlock involves two code paths: Path 1 (setxattr) where `ocfs2_xattr_set()` acquires `ip_xattr_sem` (write) and then starts a transaction, which acquires `j_trans_barrier` (read); and Path 2 (mkdir/mknod) where `ocfs2_mknod()` starts a transaction (`j_trans_barrier` read) and then calls `ocfs2_init_acl()`, which attempts to acquire `ip_xattr_sem` (read) on the parent directory to retrieve the default ACL. Because rw_semaphores are subject to writer priority, a pending writer on `j_trans_barrier` (e.g., the journal commit thread) can cause Path 1 to block, while Path 2 is blocked waiting for Path 1 to release `ip_xattr_sem`. The patch fixes the lock ordering by precomputing the ACL state before starting the OCFS2 transaction, while preserving POSIX ACL storage semantics and the existing inode/security initialization order. By reading the parent directory's default ACL and preparing the new inode's ACLs outside the transaction, `ip_xattr_sem` is always acquired before `j_trans_barrier`. `struct ocfs2_acl_state` encapsulates the prepared ACL state, while `ocfs2_acl_init_prepare()` and `ocfs2_acl_init_release()` avoid code duplication between `ocfs2_mknod()` and `ocfs2_init_security_and_acl()`. `ocfs2_calc_xattr_init()` and `ocfs2_init_acl()` use this precomputed state, removing internal `ip_xattr_sem` acquisition and redundant disk reads. Additionally, remove the `ip_xattr_sem` acquisition from `ocfs2_xattr_set_handle()`. This function is only used while initializing a new inode that has not yet been inserted into the inode hash or attached to a dentry, meaning there is no risk of concurrent access and the lock is unnecessary.
