CVE-2026-27820 2 Ruby, Ruby-lang 2 Zlib, Zlib 2026-05-21 9.8 Critical
zlib is a Ruby interface for the zlib compression/decompression library. Versions 3.0.0 and below, 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.2.0 and 3.2.1 contain a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Zlib::GzipReader. The zstream_buffer_ungets function prepends caller-provided bytes ahead of previously produced output but fails to guarantee the backing Ruby string has enough capacity before the memmove shifts the existing data. This can lead to memory corruption when the buffer length exceeds capacity. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.0.1, 3.1.2 and 3.2.3.
CVE-2026-42945 1 F5 2 Nginx Open Source, Nginx Plus 2026-05-21 8.1 High
NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when the rewrite directive is followed by a rewrite, if, or set directive and an unnamed Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) capture (for example, $1, $2) with a replacement string that includes a question mark (?). An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond its control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR.  Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
CVE-2026-43436 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Check endpoint numbers at parsing Scarlett2 mixer interfaces The Scarlett2 mixer quirk in USB-audio driver may hit a NULL dereference when a malformed USB descriptor is passed, since it assumes the presence of an endpoint in the parsed interface in scarlett2_find_fc_interface(), as reported by fuzzer. For avoiding the NULL dereference, just add the sanity check of bNumEndpoints and skip the invalid interface.
CVE-2026-31432 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix OOB write in QUERY_INFO for compound requests When a compound request such as READ + QUERY_INFO(Security) is received, and the first command (READ) consumes most of the response buffer, ksmbd could write beyond the allocated buffer while building a security descriptor. The root cause was that smb2_get_info_sec() checked buffer space using ppntsd_size from xattr, while build_sec_desc() often synthesized a significantly larger descriptor from POSIX ACLs. This patch introduces smb_acl_sec_desc_scratch_len() to accurately compute the final descriptor size beforehand, performs proper buffer checking with smb2_calc_max_out_buf_len(), and uses exact-sized allocation + iov pinning.
CVE-2026-43438 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Remove redundant css_put() in scx_cgroup_init() The iterator css_for_each_descendant_pre() walks the cgroup hierarchy under cgroup_lock(). It does not increment the reference counts on yielded css structs. According to the cgroup documentation, css_put() should only be used to release a reference obtained via css_get() or css_tryget_online(). Since the iterator does not use either of these to acquire a reference, calling css_put() in the error path of scx_cgroup_init() causes a refcount underflow. Remove the unbalanced css_put() to prevent a potential Use-After-Free (UAF) vulnerability.
CVE-2026-23243 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/umad: Reject negative data_len in ib_umad_write ib_umad_write computes data_len from user-controlled count and the MAD header sizes. With a mismatched user MAD header size and RMPP header length, data_len can become negative and reach ib_create_send_mad(). This can make the padding calculation exceed the segment size and trigger an out-of-bounds memset in alloc_send_rmpp_list(). Add an explicit check to reject negative data_len before creating the send buffer. KASAN splat: [ 211.363464] BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in ib_create_send_mad+0xa01/0x11b0 [ 211.364077] Write of size 220 at addr ffff88800c3fa1f8 by task spray_thread/102 [ 211.365867] ib_create_send_mad+0xa01/0x11b0 [ 211.365887] ib_umad_write+0x853/0x1c80

CVE-2026-43460 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: rockchip-sfc: Fix double-free in remove() callback The driver uses devm_spi_register_controller() for registration, which automatically unregisters the controller via devm cleanup when the device is removed. The manual call to spi_unregister_controller() in the remove() callback can lead to a double-free. And to make sure controller is unregistered before DMA buffer is unmapped, switch to use spi_register_controller() in probe().
CVE-2026-43476 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: chemical: sps30_i2c: fix buffer size in sps30_i2c_read_meas() sizeof(num) evaluates to sizeof(size_t) (8 bytes on 64-bit) instead of the intended __be32 element size (4 bytes). Use sizeof(*meas) to correctly match the buffer element type.
CVE-2026-34652 1 Adobe 4 Adobe Commerce, Commerce, Commerce B2b and 1 more 2026-05-20 7.5 High
Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.9-beta1, 2.4.8-p4, 2.4.7-p9, 2.4.6-p14, 2.4.5-p16, 2.4.4-p17 and earlier are affected by a Dependency on Vulnerable Third-Party Component vulnerability that could result in an application denial-of-service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the application, leading to a denial-of-service condition. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
CVE-2026-43481 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net-shapers: don't free reply skb after genlmsg_reply() genlmsg_reply() hands the reply skb to netlink, and netlink_unicast() consumes it on all return paths, whether the skb is queued successfully or freed on an error path. net_shaper_nl_get_doit() and net_shaper_nl_cap_get_doit() currently jump to free_msg after genlmsg_reply() fails and call nlmsg_free(msg), which can hit the same skb twice. Return the genlmsg_reply() error directly and keep free_msg only for pre-reply failures.
CVE-2026-43380 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/q54sj108a2) fix stack overflow in debugfs read The q54sj108a2_debugfs_read function suffers from a stack buffer overflow due to incorrect arguments passed to bin2hex(). The function currently passes 'data' as the destination and 'data_char' as the source. Because bin2hex() converts each input byte into two hex characters, a 32-byte block read results in 64 bytes of output. Since 'data' is only 34 bytes (I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX + 2), this writes 30 bytes past the end of the buffer onto the stack. Additionally, the arguments were swapped: it was reading from the zero-initialized 'data_char' and writing to 'data', resulting in all-zero output regardless of the actual I2C read. Fix this by: 1. Expanding 'data_char' to 66 bytes to safely hold the hex output. 2. Correcting the bin2hex() argument order and using the actual read count. 3. Using a pointer to select the correct output buffer for the final simple_read_from_buffer call.
