CVE-2022-29824 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more 26 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 23 more 2024-08-03 6.5 Medium
In libxml2 before 2.9.14, several buffer handling functions in buf.c (xmlBuf*) and tree.c (xmlBuffer*) don't check for integer overflows. This can result in out-of-bounds memory writes. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted, multi-gigabyte XML file. Other software using libxml2's buffer functions, for example libxslt through 1.1.35, is affected as well.
CVE-2022-29404 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 5 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 2 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier, a malicious request to a lua script that calls r:parsebody(0) may cause a denial of service due to no default limit on possible input size.
CVE-2022-28615 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more 2024-08-03 9.1 Critical
Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may crash or disclose information due to a read beyond bounds in ap_strcmp_match() when provided with an extremely large input buffer. While no code distributed with the server can be coerced into such a call, third-party modules or lua scripts that use ap_strcmp_match() may hypothetically be affected.
CVE-2022-28614 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more 2024-08-03 5.3 Medium
The ap_rwrite() function in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may read unintended memory if an attacker can cause the server to reflect very large input using ap_rwrite() or ap_rputs(), such as with mod_luas r:puts() function. Modules compiled and distributed separately from Apache HTTP Server that use the 'ap_rputs' function and may pass it a very large (INT_MAX or larger) string must be compiled against current headers to resolve the issue.
CVE-2022-27779 3 Haxx, Netapp, Splunk 15 Curl, Clustered Data Ontap, H300s and 12 more 2024-08-03 5.3 Medium
libcurl wrongly allows cookies to be set for Top Level Domains (TLDs) if thehost name is provided with a trailing dot.curl can be told to receive and send cookies. curl's "cookie engine" can bebuilt with or without [Public Suffix List](https://publicsuffix.org/)awareness. If PSL support not provided, a more rudimentary check exists to atleast prevent cookies from being set on TLDs. This check was broken if thehost name in the URL uses a trailing dot. This can allow arbitrary sites to set cookies that then would get sent to adifferent and unrelated site or domain.
CVE-2022-27781 5 Debian, Haxx, Netapp and 2 more 17 Debian Linux, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 14 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
libcurl provides the `CURLOPT_CERTINFO` option to allow applications torequest details to be returned about a server's certificate chain.Due to an erroneous function, a malicious server could make libcurl built withNSS get stuck in a never-ending busy-loop when trying to retrieve thatinformation.
CVE-2022-27774 6 Brocade, Debian, Haxx and 3 more 18 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Curl and 15 more 2024-08-03 5.7 Medium
An insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability exists in curl 4.9 to and include curl 7.82.0 are affected that could allow an attacker to extract credentials when follows HTTP(S) redirects is used with authentication could leak credentials to other services that exist on different protocols or port numbers.
CVE-2022-27778 4 Haxx, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 19 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Bh500s Firmware and 16 more 2024-08-03 8.1 High
A use of incorrectly resolved name vulnerability fixed in 7.83.1 might remove the wrong file when `--no-clobber` is used together with `--remove-on-error`.
CVE-2022-27775 6 Brocade, Debian, Haxx and 3 more 18 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Curl and 15 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
An information disclosure vulnerability exists in curl 7.65.0 to 7.82.0 are vulnerable that by using an IPv6 address that was in the connection pool but with a different zone id it could reuse a connection instead.
CVE-2022-26377 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request Smuggling') vulnerability in mod_proxy_ajp of Apache HTTP Server allows an attacker to smuggle requests to the AJP server it forwards requests to. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server Apache HTTP Server 2.4 version 2.4.53 and prior versions.
CVE-2022-23852 7 Debian, Libexpat Project, Netapp and 4 more 10 Debian Linux, Libexpat, Clustered Data Ontap and 7 more 2024-08-03 9.8 Critical
Expat (aka libexpat) before 2.4.4 has a signed integer overflow in XML_GetBuffer, for configurations with a nonzero XML_CONTEXT_BYTES.

valid.c in libxml2 before 2.9.13 has a use-after-free of ID and IDREF attributes.
CVE-2022-23241 1 Netapp 1 Clustered Data Ontap 2024-08-03 8.1 High
Clustered Data ONTAP versions 9.11.1 through 9.11.1P2 with SnapLock configured FlexGroups are susceptible to a vulnerability which could allow an authenticated remote attacker to arbitrarily modify or delete WORM data prior to the end of the retention period.
CVE-2022-22576 6 Brocade, Debian, Haxx and 3 more 18 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Curl and 15 more 2024-08-03 8.1 High
An improper authentication vulnerability exists in curl 7.33.0 to and including 7.82.0 which might allow reuse OAUTH2-authenticated connections without properly making sure that the connection was authenticated with the same credentials as set for this transfer. This affects SASL-enabled protocols: SMPTP(S), IMAP(S), POP3(S) and LDAP(S) (openldap only).
CVE-2022-3602 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Nodejs and 2 more 5 Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap, Node.js and 2 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
A buffer overrun can be triggered in X.509 certificate verification, specifically in name constraint checking. Note that this occurs after certificate chain signature verification and requires either a CA to have signed the malicious certificate or for the application to continue certificate verification despite failure to construct a path to a trusted issuer. An attacker can craft a malicious email address to overflow four attacker-controlled bytes on the stack. This buffer overflow could result in a crash (causing a denial of service) or potentially remote code execution. Many platforms implement stack overflow protections which would mitigate against the risk of remote code execution. The risk may be further mitigated based on stack layout for any given platform/compiler. Pre-announcements of CVE-2022-3602 described this issue as CRITICAL. Further analysis based on some of the mitigating factors described above have led this to be downgraded to HIGH. Users are still encouraged to upgrade to a new version as soon as possible. In a TLS client, this can be triggered by connecting to a malicious server. In a TLS server, this can be triggered if the server requests client authentication and a malicious client connects. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.7 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2,3.0.3,3.0.4,3.0.5,3.0.6).
CVE-2023-38403 7 Apple, Debian, Es and 4 more 12 Macos, Debian Linux, Iperf3 and 9 more 2024-08-02 7.5 High
iperf3 before 3.14 allows peers to cause an integer overflow and heap corruption via a crafted length field.
CVE-2023-28322 5 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more 17 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 14 more 2024-08-02 3.7 Low
An information disclosure vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 when doing HTTP(S) transfers, libcurl might erroneously use the read callback (`CURLOPT_READFUNCTION`) to ask for data to send, even when the `CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS` option has been set, if the same handle previously wasused to issue a `PUT` request which used that callback. This flaw may surprise the application and cause it to misbehave and either send off the wrong data or use memory after free or similar in the second transfer. The problem exists in the logic for a reused handle when it is (expected to be) changed from a PUT to a POST.
CVE-2023-28321 6 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 17 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 14 more 2024-08-02 5.9 Medium
An improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way it supports matching of wildcard patterns when listed as "Subject Alternative Name" in TLS server certificates. curl can be built to use its own name matching function for TLS rather than one provided by a TLS library. This private wildcard matching function would match IDN (International Domain Name) hosts incorrectly and could as a result accept patterns that otherwise should mismatch. IDN hostnames are converted to puny code before used for certificate checks. Puny coded names always start with `xn--` and should not be allowed to pattern match, but the wildcard check in curl could still check for `x*`, which would match even though the IDN name most likely contained nothing even resembling an `x`.
CVE-2023-28319 4 Apple, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more 13 Macos, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 10 more 2024-08-02 7.5 High
A use after free vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way libcurl offers a feature to verify an SSH server's public key using a SHA 256 hash. When this check fails, libcurl would free the memory for the fingerprint before it returns an error message containing the (now freed) hash. This flaw risks inserting sensitive heap-based data into the error message that might be shown to users or otherwise get leaked and revealed.
CVE-2023-28320 3 Apple, Haxx, Netapp 12 Macos, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 9 more 2024-08-02 5.9 Medium
A denial of service vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way libcurl provides several different backends for resolving host names, selected at build time. If it is built to use the synchronous resolver, it allows name resolves to time-out slow operations using `alarm()` and `siglongjmp()`. When doing this, libcurl used a global buffer that was not mutex protected and a multi-threaded application might therefore crash or otherwise misbehave.
