Memory leak in the vrend_renderer_init_blit_ctx function in vrend_blitter.c in virglrenderer before 0.6.0 allows local guest OS users to cause a denial of service (host memory consumption) via a large number of VIRGL_CCMD_BLIT commands.
An issue was discovered in Magick++ in ImageMagick 6.9.7. A specially crafted file creating a nested exception could lead to a memory leak (thus, a DoS).
MAX PRESENCE V100R001C00, TP3106 V100R002C00, TP3206 V100R002C00 have an a memory leak vulnerability in H323 protocol. An attacker logs in to the system as a user and send crafted packets to the affected products. Due to insufficient verification of the packets, successful exploit could cause a memory leak and eventual denial of service (DoS) condition.
A vulnerability in Cisco Prime Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to log in to the administrative console of a DCNM server by using an account that has a default, static password. The account could be granted root- or system-level privileges. The vulnerability exists because the affected software has a default user account that has a default, static password. The user account is created automatically when the software is installed. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting remotely to an affected system and logging in to the affected software by using the credentials for this default user account. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to use this default user account to log in to the affected software and gain access to the administrative console of a DCNM server. This vulnerability affects Cisco Prime Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) Software releases prior to Release 10.2(1) for Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Virtual Appliance platforms. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvd95346.
A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco NX-OS System Software 7.1 through 7.3 running on Cisco Nexus Series Switches could allow an authenticated, local attacker to perform a command injection attack. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting crafted command arguments into a vulnerable CLI command. An exploit could allow the attacker to read or write arbitrary files at the user's privilege level outside of the user's path. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvb86787, CSCve60516, CSCve60555.
A vulnerability in the Telnet CLI command of Cisco NX-OS System Software 7.1 through 7.3 running on Cisco Nexus Series Switches could allow an authenticated, local attacker to perform a command injection attack. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting crafted command arguments into the Telnet CLI command. An exploit could allow the attacker to read or write arbitrary files at the user's privilege level outside of the user's path. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvb86771.
Memory leak in Xen 3.3 through 4.8.x allows guest OS users to cause a denial of service (ARM or x86 AMD host OS memory consumption) by continually rebooting, because certain cleanup is skipped if no pass-through device was ever assigned, aka XSA-207.
In ImageMagick 7.0.5-5, the ReadDCMImage function in dcm.c allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory leak) via a crafted file.
In ImageMagick 7.0.5-5, the ReadSFWImage function in sfw.c allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory leak) via a crafted file.
In ImageMagick 7.0.5-5, the ReadPCDImage function in pcd.c allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory leak) via a crafted file.
In ImageMagick 7.0.5-5, the ReadBMPImage function in bmp.c allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory leak) via a crafted file.
Memory leak in the keyboard input event handlers support in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (host memory consumption) by rapidly generating large keyboard events.
Kibana versions prior to 5.2.1 configured for SSL client access, file descriptors will fail to be cleaned up after certain requests and will accumulate over time until the process crashes.
In ImageMagick 7.0.7-1 Q16, a memory leak vulnerability was found in the function PersistPixelCache in magick/cache.c, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption in ReadMPCImage in coders/mpc.c) via a crafted file.
In ImageMagick 7.0.5-6, the ReadBMPImage function in bmp.c:1379 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory leak) via a crafted file.
IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager could allow a user under special circumstances to inject commands that would be executed with unnecessary higher privileges than expected.
In Symantec Endpoint Encryption before SEE 11.1.3HF3, a kernel memory leak is a type of resource leak that can occur when a computer program incorrectly manages memory allocations in such a way that memory which is no longer needed is not released. In object-oriented programming, a memory leak may happen when an object is stored in memory but cannot be accessed by the running code.
In Symantec Encryption Desktop before SED 10.4.1 MP2HF1, a kernel memory leak is a type of resource leak that can occur when a computer program incorrectly manages memory allocations in such a way that memory which is no longer needed is not released. In object-oriented programming, a memory leak may happen when an object is stored in memory but cannot be accessed by the running code.
The Screensavercc component in eLux RP before 5.5.0 allows attackers to bypass intended configuration restrictions and execute arbitrary commands with root privileges by inserting commands in a local configuration dialog in the control panel.
The TIFFReadDirEntryArray function in tif_read.c in LibTIFF 4.0.8 mishandles memory allocation for short files, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (allocation failure and application crash) in the TIFFFetchStripThing function in tif_dirread.c during a tiff2pdf invocation.
