CVSS v3.1 |
| The Supreme Modules Lite – Divi Theme, Extra Theme and Divi Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘typing_cursor’ parameter in versions up to, and including, 2.5.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| KUNO CMS is a fully deployable full-stack blog application. Versions 1.3.13 and below contain validation flaws in its file upload functionality that can be exploited for stored XSS. The upload endpoint only validates file types based on Content-Type headers, lacks file content analysis and extension whitelist restrictions, allowing attackers to upload SVG files containing malicious scripts (disguised as images). When users access the uploaded resource pages, arbitrary JavaScript executes in their browsers. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.14. |
| The Feedpress Generator – External RSS Frontend Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'tab' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
| The Image Hover Effects – Elementor Addon plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘eihe_link’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| An XSS issue was discovered in the Bootstrap 5 Lite theme before 1.x-1.0.3 for Backdrop CMS. It doesn't sufficiently sanitize certain class names. |
| A vulnerability in the HTTP API subsystem of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow a remote attacker to inject commands that will execute with root privileges into the underlying operating system.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker with administrative privileges could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to an affected system and performing an API call with crafted input. Alternatively, an unauthenticated attacker could persuade a legitimate user with administrative privileges who is currently logged in to the system to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the root user. |
| bep/imagemeta is a Go library for reading EXIF, IPTC and XMP image meta data from JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and WebP files. The EXIF data format allows for defining excessively large data structures in relatively small payloads. Before v0.10.0, If you didn't trust the input images, this could be abused to construct denial-of-service attacks. v0.10.0 added LimitNumTags (default 5000) and LimitTagSize (default 10000) options. |
| The cbis_manager Podman container is vulnerable to remote command execution via the /api/plugins endpoint. Improper sanitization of the HTTP Headers X-FILENAME, X-PAGE, and X-FIELD allows for command injection. These headers are directly utilized within the subprocess.Popen Python function without adequate validation, enabling a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying system by crafting malicious header values within an HTTP request to the affected endpoint.
The web service executes with root privileges within the container environment, the demonstrated remote code execution permits an attacker to acquire elevated privileges for the command execution.
Restricting access to the management network with an external firewall can partially mitigate this risk. |
| Cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in acmailer CGI ver.4.0.5 and earlier. An arbitrary script may be executed on the web browser of the user who accessed the management page of the affected product. |
| HTMLSanitizer.jl is a Whitelist-based HTML sanitizer. Prior to version 0.2.1, when adding the style tag to the whitelist, content inside the tag is incorrectly unescaped, and closing tags injected as content are interpreted as real HTML, enabling tag injection and JavaScript execution. This could result in possible cross-site scripting (XSS) in any HTML that is sanitized with this library. This issue has been patched in version 0.2.1. A workaround involves adding the math and svg elements to the whitelist manually. |
| Versions of the package jquery-validation before 1.20.0 are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in the showLabel() function, which may take input from a user-controlled placeholder value. This value will populate a message via $.validator.messages in a user localizable dictionary. |
| Improper conditions check in some firmware for some Intel(R) NPU Drivers within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable data corruption. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (low) and availability (none) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| When decoding a frame for a SANM file (ANIM v0 variant), the decoded data can be larger than the buffer allocated for it.
Frames encoded with codec 48 can specify their resolution (width x height). A buffer of appropriate size is allocated depending on the resolution.
This codec can encode the frame contents using a run-length encoding algorithm. There are no checks that the decoded frame fits in the allocated buffer, leading to a heap-buffer-overflow.
process_frame_obj initializes the buffers based on the frame resolution:
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Datacom DM955 5GT 1200 825.8010.00. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Wireless Basic Settings. The manipulation of the argument SSID leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability has been discovered in the Vitogate 300, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise affected installations. Specifically, the `/cgi-bin/vitogate.cgi` endpoint is affected, when the `form` JSON parameter is set to `form-0-2`. The vulnerability stems from the fact that that function at offset 0x21c24 does not properly sanitize supplied input before interpolating it into a format string which gets passed to `popen()`. Consequently, an authenticated attacker is able to inject arbitrary OS commands and thus gain code execution on affected devices. |
| A flaw has been found in ChenJinchuang Lin-CMS-TP5 up to 0.3.3. This vulnerability affects the function Upload of the file application/lib/file/LocalUploader.php of the component File Upload Handler. Executing manipulation of the argument File can lead to code injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| The configuration file is encrypted with a static key derived from a
static five-character password which allows an attacker to decrypt this
file. The application hashes this five-character password with
the outdated and broken MD5 algorithm (no salt) and uses the first five
bytes as the key for RC4. The configuration file is then encrypted with
these parameters. |
| Bypass incomplete fix of CVE-2024-27980, that arises from improper handling of batch files with all possible extensions on Windows via child_process.spawn / child_process.spawnSync. A malicious command line argument can inject arbitrary commands and achieve code execution even if the shell option is not enabled. |
| A command injection vulnerability affects the Shenzhen Aitemi M300 Wi-Fi Repeater (hardware model MT02) during WPA2 configuration. The 'key' parameter is interpreted directly by the system shell, enabling attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root. Exploitation requires no authentication and can be triggered during wireless setup. |
| When parsing the header for a DHAV file, there's an integer underflow in offset calculation that leads to reading the duration from before the start of the allocated buffer.
If we load a DHAV file that is larger than MAX_DURATION_BUFFER_SIZE bytes (0x100000) for example 0x101000 bytes, then at [0] we have size = 0x101000. At [1] we have end_buffer_size = 0x100000, and at [2] we have end_buffer_pos = 0x1000.
The loop then scans backwards through the buffer looking for the dhav tag; when it is found, we'll calculate end_pos based on a 32-bit offset read from the buffer.
There is subsequently a check [3] that end_pos is within the section of the file that has been copied into end_buffer, but it only correctly handles the cases where end_pos is before the start of the file or after the section copied into end_buffer, and not the case where end_pos is within the the file, but before the section copied into end_buffer. If we provide such an offset, (end_pos - end_buffer_pos) can underflow, resulting in the subsequent access at [4] occurring before the beginning of the allocation.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
