CVE-2022-41717 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat 25 Fedora, Go, Http2 and 22 more 2025-02-13 5.3 Medium
An attacker can cause excessive memory growth in a Go server accepting HTTP/2 requests. HTTP/2 server connections contain a cache of HTTP header keys sent by the client. While the total number of entries in this cache is capped, an attacker sending very large keys can cause the server to allocate approximately 64 MiB per open connection.
CVE-2022-41715 2 Golang, Redhat 24 Go, Acm, Ceph Storage and 21 more 2025-02-13 7.5 High
Programs which compile regular expressions from untrusted sources may be vulnerable to memory exhaustion or denial of service. The parsed regexp representation is linear in the size of the input, but in some cases the constant factor can be as high as 40,000, making relatively small regexps consume much larger amounts of memory. After fix, each regexp being parsed is limited to a 256 MB memory footprint. Regular expressions whose representation would use more space than that are rejected. Normal use of regular expressions is unaffected.
CVE-2022-3650 1 Redhat 2 Ceph, Ceph Storage 2025-02-13 7.8 High
A privilege escalation flaw was found in Ceph. Ceph-crash.service allows a local attacker to escalate privileges to root in the form of a crash dump, and dump privileged information.
CVE-2022-2880 2 Golang, Redhat 20 Go, Acm, Ceph Storage and 17 more 2025-02-13 7.5 High
Requests forwarded by ReverseProxy include the raw query parameters from the inbound request, including unparsable parameters rejected by net/http. This could permit query parameter smuggling when a Go proxy forwards a parameter with an unparsable value. After fix, ReverseProxy sanitizes the query parameters in the forwarded query when the outbound request's Form field is set after the ReverseProxy. Director function returns, indicating that the proxy has parsed the query parameters. Proxies which do not parse query parameters continue to forward the original query parameters unchanged.
CVE-2021-3979 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 8 Fedora, Ceph Storage, Ceph Storage For Ibm Z Systems and 5 more 2025-02-13 6.5 Medium
A key length flaw was found in Red Hat Ceph Storage. An attacker can exploit the fact that the key length is incorrectly passed in an encryption algorithm to create a non random key, which is weaker and can be exploited for loss of confidentiality and integrity on encrypted disks.
CVE-2020-25678 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 3 Fedora, Ceph, Ceph Storage 2025-02-13 4.4 Medium
A flaw was found in ceph in versions prior to 16.y.z where ceph stores mgr module passwords in clear text. This can be found by searching the mgr logs for grafana and dashboard, with passwords visible.
CVE-2019-10222 3 Ceph, Fedoraproject, Redhat 3 Ceph, Fedora, Ceph Storage 2025-02-13 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the Ceph RGW configuration with Beast as the front end handling client requests. An unauthenticated attacker could crash the Ceph RGW server by sending valid HTTP headers and terminating the connection, resulting in a remote denial of service for Ceph RGW clients.
CVE-2023-24540 2 Golang, Redhat 20 Go, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 17 more 2025-01-24 9.8 Critical
Not all valid JavaScript whitespace characters are considered to be whitespace. Templates containing whitespace characters outside of the character set "\t\n\f\r\u0020\u2028\u2029" in JavaScript contexts that also contain actions may not be properly sanitized during execution.
CVE-2023-29405 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat 5 Fedora, Go, Ceph Storage and 2 more 2025-01-06 9.8 Critical
The go command may execute arbitrary code at build time when using cgo. This may occur when running "go get" on a malicious module, or when running any other command which builds untrusted code. This is can by triggered by linker flags, specified via a "#cgo LDFLAGS" directive. Flags containing embedded spaces are mishandled, allowing disallowed flags to be smuggled through the LDFLAGS sanitization by including them in the argument of another flag. This only affects usage of the gccgo compiler.
CVE-2023-29404 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat 5 Fedora, Go, Ceph Storage and 2 more 2025-01-06 9.8 Critical
The go command may execute arbitrary code at build time when using cgo. This may occur when running "go get" on a malicious module, or when running any other command which builds untrusted code. This is can by triggered by linker flags, specified via a "#cgo LDFLAGS" directive. The arguments for a number of flags which are non-optional are incorrectly considered optional, allowing disallowed flags to be smuggled through the LDFLAGS sanitization. This affects usage of both the gc and gccgo compilers.
CVE-2023-48795 43 9bis, Apache, Apple and 40 more 78 Kitty, Sshd, Sshj and 75 more 2024-12-02 5.9 Medium
The SSH transport protocol with certain OpenSSH extensions, found in OpenSSH before 9.6 and other products, allows remote attackers to bypass integrity checks such that some packets are omitted (from the extension negotiation message), and a client and server may consequently end up with a connection for which some security features have been downgraded or disabled, aka a Terrapin attack. This occurs because the SSH Binary Packet Protocol (BPP), implemented by these extensions, mishandles the handshake phase and mishandles use of sequence numbers. For example, there is an effective attack against SSH's use of ChaCha20-Poly1305 (and CBC with Encrypt-then-MAC). The bypass occurs in chacha20-poly1305@openssh.com and (if CBC is used) the -etm@openssh.com MAC algorithms. This also affects Maverick Synergy Java SSH API before 3.1.0-SNAPSHOT, Dropbear through 2022.83, Ssh before 5.1.1 in Erlang/OTP, PuTTY before 0.80, AsyncSSH before 2.14.2, golang.org/x/crypto before 0.17.0, libssh before 0.10.6, libssh2 through 1.11.0, Thorn Tech SFTP Gateway before 3.4.6, Tera Term before 5.1, Paramiko before 3.4.0, jsch before 0.2.15, SFTPGo before 2.5.6, Netgate pfSense Plus through 23.09.1, Netgate pfSense CE through 2.7.2, HPN-SSH through 18.2.0, ProFTPD before 1.3.8b (and before 1.3.9rc2), ORYX CycloneSSH before 2.3.4, NetSarang XShell 7 before Build 0144, CrushFTP before 10.6.0, ConnectBot SSH library before 2.2.22, Apache MINA sshd through 2.11.0, sshj through 0.37.0, TinySSH through 20230101, trilead-ssh2 6401, LANCOM LCOS and LANconfig, FileZilla before 3.66.4, Nova before 11.8, PKIX-SSH before 14.4, SecureCRT before 9.4.3, Transmit5 before 5.10.4, Win32-OpenSSH before 9.5.0.0p1-Beta, WinSCP before 6.2.2, Bitvise SSH Server before 9.32, Bitvise SSH Client before 9.33, KiTTY through 0.76.1.13, the net-ssh gem 7.2.0 for Ruby, the mscdex ssh2 module before 1.15.0 for Node.js, the thrussh library before 0.35.1 for Rust, and the Russh crate before 0.40.2 for Rust.
CVE-2024-48916 1 Redhat 1 Ceph Storage 2024-12-02 9.1 Critical
A vulnerability in the Ceph Rados Gateway (RadosGW) OIDC provider allows attackers to bypass JWT signature verification by supplying a token with "none" as the algorithm (alg). This occurs because the implementation fails to enforce strict signature validation, enabling attackers to forge valid tokens without a signature.
CVE-2024-6387 9 Amazon, Canonical, Debian and 6 more 24 Linux 2023, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 21 more 2024-11-24 8.1 High
A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period.
CVE-2023-49569 2 Go-git Project, Redhat 10 Go-git, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 7 more 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in go-git versions prior to v5.11. This vulnerability allows an attacker to create and amend files across the filesystem. In the worse case scenario, remote code execution could be achieved. Applications are only affected if they are using the ChrootOS https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/go-git/go-billy/v5/osfs#ChrootOS , which is the default when using "Plain" versions of Open and Clone funcs (e.g. PlainClone). Applications using BoundOS https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/go-git/go-billy/v5/osfs#BoundOS  or in-memory filesystems are not affected by this issue. This is a go-git implementation issue and does not affect the upstream git cli.
CVE-2023-49568 2 Go-git Project, Redhat 10 Go-git, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 7 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
A denial of service (DoS) vulnerability was discovered in go-git versions prior to v5.11. This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform denial of service attacks by providing specially crafted responses from a Git server which triggers resource exhaustion in go-git clients. Applications using only the in-memory filesystem supported by go-git are not affected by this vulnerability. This is a go-git implementation issue and does not affect the upstream git cli.
CVE-2023-46159 2 Ibm, Redhat 2 Storage Ceph, Ceph Storage 2024-11-21 2.6 Low
IBM Storage Ceph 5.3z1, 5.3z5, and 6.1z1 could allow an authenticated user on the network to cause a denial of service from RGW. IBM X-Force ID: 268906.
CVE-2023-43040 1 Redhat 1 Ceph Storage 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
IBM Spectrum Fusion HCI 2.5.2 through 2.7.2 could allow an attacker to perform unauthorized actions in RGW for Ceph due to improper bucket access. IBM X-Force ID: 266807.
CVE-2022-41912 2 Redhat, Saml Project 4 Acm, Ceph Storage, Openshift and 1 more 2024-11-21 9.1 Critical
The crewjam/saml go library prior to version 0.4.9 is vulnerable to an authentication bypass when processing SAML responses containing multiple Assertion elements. This issue has been corrected in version 0.4.9. There are no workarounds other than upgrading to a fixed version.
CVE-2022-39324 2 Grafana, Redhat 3 Grafana, Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 6.7 Medium
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Prior to versions 8.5.16 and 9.2.8, malicious user can create a snapshot and arbitrarily choose the `originalUrl` parameter by editing the query, thanks to a web proxy. When another user opens the URL of the snapshot, they will be presented with the regular web interface delivered by the trusted Grafana server. The `Open original dashboard` button no longer points to the to the real original dashboard but to the attacker’s injected URL. This issue is fixed in versions 8.5.16 and 9.2.8.
CVE-2022-39307 2 Grafana, Redhat 3 Grafana, Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 6.7 Medium
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. When using the forget password on the login page, a POST request is made to the `/api/user/password/sent-reset-email` URL. When the username or email does not exist, a JSON response contains a “user not found” message. This leaks information to unauthenticated users and introduces a security risk. This issue has been patched in 9.2.4 and backported to 8.5.15. There are no known workarounds.
