CVE-2024-11831 | 1 Redhat | 35 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Ansible Automation Platform and 32 more | 2025-10-01 | 5.4 Medium |
A flaw was found in npm-serialize-javascript. The vulnerability occurs because the serialize-javascript module does not properly sanitize certain inputs, such as regex or other JavaScript object types, allowing an attacker to inject malicious code. This code could be executed when deserialized by a web browser, causing Cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This issue is critical in environments where serialized data is sent to web clients, potentially compromising the security of the website or web application using this package.
CVE-2024-9675 | 2 Buildah Project, Redhat | 22 Buildah, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 19 more | 2025-10-01 | 7.8 High |
A vulnerability was found in Buildah. Cache mounts do not properly validate that user-specified paths for the cache are within our cache directory, allowing a `RUN` instruction in a Container file to mount an arbitrary directory from the host (read/write) into the container as long as those files can be accessed by the user running Buildah.
CVE-2025-7493 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2025-10-01 | 9.1 Critical |
A privilege escalation flaw from host to domain administrator was found in FreeIPA. This vulnerability is similar to CVE-2025-4404, where it fails to validate the uniqueness of the krbCanonicalName. While the previously released version added validations for the admin@REALM credential, FreeIPA still does not validate the root@REALM canonical name, which can also be used as the realm administrator's name. This flaw allows an attacker to perform administrative tasks over the REALM, leading to access to sensitive data and sensitive data exfiltration.
CVE-2025-6170 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 6 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Openshift and 3 more | 2025-10-01 | 2.5 Low |
A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections.
CVE-2025-47711 | 2 Nbdkit Project, Redhat | 5 Nbdkit, Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-10-01 | 4.3 Medium |
There's a flaw in the nbdkit server when handling responses from its plugins regarding the status of data blocks. If a client makes a specific request for a very large data range, and a plugin responds with an even larger single block, the nbdkit server can encounter a critical internal error, leading to a denial-of-service.
CVE-2025-47712 | 2 Nbdkit Project, Redhat | 5 Nbdkit, Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-10-01 | 4.3 Medium |
A flaw exists in the nbdkit "blocksize" filter that can be triggered by a specific type of client request. When a client requests block status information for a very large data range, exceeding a certain limit, it causes an internal error in the nbdkit, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2025-6021 | 1 Redhat | 12 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Insights Proxy and 9 more | 2025-10-01 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input.
CVE-2024-8176 | 1 Redhat | 10 Devworkspace, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2025-10-01 | 7.5 High |
A stack overflow vulnerability exists in the libexpat library due to the way it handles recursive entity expansion in XML documents. When parsing an XML document with deeply nested entity references, libexpat can be forced to recurse indefinitely, exhausting the stack space and causing a crash. This issue could lead to denial of service (DoS) or, in some cases, exploitable memory corruption, depending on the environment and library usage.
CVE-2024-10306 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2025-10-01 | 5.4 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in mod_proxy_cluster. The issue is that the <Directory> directive should be replaced by the <Location> directive as the former does not restrict IP/host access as `Require ip IP_ADDRESS` would suggest. This means that anyone with access to the host might send MCMP requests that may result in adding/removing/updating nodes for the balancing. However, this host should not be accessible to the public network as it does not serve the general traffic.
CVE-2025-49796 | 1 Redhat | 13 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Insights Proxy and 10 more | 2025-10-01 | 9.1 Critical |
A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory.
CVE-2025-49795 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Rhivos | 2025-10-01 | 7.5 High |
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability was found in libxml2 when processing XPath XML expressions. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input to libxml2, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2025-49794 | 1 Redhat | 12 Enterprise Linux, Insights Proxy, Jboss Core Services and 9 more | 2025-10-01 | 9.1 Critical |
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxml2. This issue occurs when parsing XPath elements under certain circumstances when the XML schematron has the <sch:name path="..."/> schema elements. This flaw allows a malicious actor to craft a malicious XML document used as input for libxml, resulting in the program's crash using libxml or other possible undefined behaviors. |
