Impact
Google Chrome Enterprise contained an information leak that lets a remote attacker disclose sensitive data by serving a specially crafted HTML page. The flaw is an instance of CWE‑200, Information Exposure, and is rated as medium severity by Chromium.
Affected Systems
All Enterprise editions of Google Chrome released before version 155.0.8059.39 are affected. Any installation of Chrome Enterprise using one of those versions needs to be updated to 155.0.8059.39 or later.
Risk and Exploitability
The vulnerability can be triggered remotely by hosting a malicious HTML page; the attacker only needs the user to open that page. EPSS data is not available and the flaw is not listed in CISA’s KEV catalogue, but the lack of these mitigations does not negate the realistic possibility of exploitation once a user visits a crafted page. The CVSS score is 4.3, reflecting a moderate risk level.
