Impact
The JeecgBoot application up to version 3.9.5 contains a missing authorization flaw in the SysAnnouncementController editIzTop handler. Attackers who are authenticated with low privileges can send POST or PUT requests to any announcement ID and change the pin status, thereby altering the top announcements displayed to all users. This flaw permits an unauthorized user to manipulate information presented to all platform users.
Affected Systems
JeecgBoot, the open‑source enterprise framework, is vulnerable in all releases up to and including 3.9.5. The flaw exists in the /sys/annountCement/editIzTop endpoint Any user of JeecgBoot prior to version 3.9.6 is affected.
Risk and Exploitability
The CVSS score of 5.3 rates the vulnerability as moderate severity. The EPSS score is not available, and it is not listed in the CISA KEV catalog, indicating limited or no known exploitation. Attackers must first authenticate to the application, then issue a POST or PUT to /sys/annountCement/editIzTop to alter announcement visibility. Although the flaw does not provide remote code execution or system compromise, the ability to alter the information that all users see incurs a moderate risk to information integrity.
