Impact
A remote authenticated attacker can delete folders and applications owned by other users because the system fails to enforce proper functional level access controls. The flaw permits a user with valid credentials to remove items that belong to other accounts, thereby compromising data integrity and potentially causing service disruption.
Affected Systems
IBM Planning Analytics Local versions 2.0 and 2.1 are affected. All deployments of 2.0 and 2.1.0 through 2.1.23 are vulnerable and must be upgraded to 2.1.24, the first release that fixes the issue.
Risk and Exploitability
The CVSS score of 7.1 indicates a high impact, and although the EPSS score is not listed, the vulnerability is exploitable by any authenticated user. The flaw is not currently listed in CISA KEV, but its nature warrants immediate mitigation through patching rather than monitoring.
