Impact
The vulnerability is an instance of improper neutralization of input during web page generation, allowing malicious script code to be reflected back to the visitor’s browser. When a victim clicks a crafted link or submits manipulated data, the unsanitized input is rendered, enabling the execution of arbitrary JavaScript within the context of the site. This can lead to theft of browser‑stored data, session hijacking, or defacement of the site’s content.
Affected Systems
WordPress plugin ThemeStek Extras for LabtechCO Theme, version 8.4 and all earlier releases.
