Impact
A buffer overflow occurs in the ANGLE component of Google Chrome on Android. By delivering a specially crafted HTML page, a remote attacker can trigger the overflow and execute arbitrary code outside the browser sandbox.
Affected Systems
Google Chrome on Android, any build prior to version 154.0.8037.57. The vulnerability is present in all affected Android releases where ANGLE is used without the applied patch.
Risk and Exploitability
The flaw carries a CVSS score of 9.6 and is classified as Critical. EPSS information is not available, but the high CVSS combined with the lack of a KEV listing indicates significant risk. The likely attack vector requires the victim to load a malicious webpage in Chrome; once the page is rendered, the overflow is executed, giving the attacker code execution with elevated privileges.
