| A vulnerability in the system rate-limiting process for syslog message 419002 of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause high CPU utilization on an affected device, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to improper rate limiting for syslog message 419002. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a flood of TCP synchronization (SYN) packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause high CPU utilization, resulting in performance degradation. |
| MikroTik firmware 7.19.4 stores sensitive authentication credentials and network state in cleartext within non-volatile storage. An attacker with physical access to the device can extract this material from an SPI flash dump, without authenticating to the device and without knowledge of the administrative password. |
| A vulnerability in a critical API for Cisco Secure FMC Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to download sensitive files and use unbounded disk space.
This vulnerability exists because a critical API lacks authentication. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by repeatedly invoking the API. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to download sensitive files that should be restricted and consume disk space so the device could become unresponsive, causing a DoS condition. |
| A vulnerability in Cisco ISE could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct SQL injection attacks on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to modify data in the underlying database. |
| Update for September 16, 2026: The original 1.0 version of this advisory was specific to the Cisco Adaptive Security Virtual Appliance (ASAv) and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense Virtual (FTDv) models. However, it was later found that this vulnerability affects all Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software platforms.
A vulnerability in the VPN and management web servers of the Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software platforms could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to run out of system memory or buffer blocks, which in turn could cause SSL VPN connection processing to slow down and eventually cease altogether.
This vulnerability is due to a lack of proper memory management for new incoming SSL/TLS connections. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of new incoming SSL/TLS connections to the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to deplete system memory or buffers, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The memory or buffers could be reclaimed slowly if the attack traffic is stopped, but a manual reload may be required to restore operations quickly. |
| A vulnerability in Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM) single sign-on (SSO) handler for Cisco Secure FMC Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to log in as the Cisco ASDM administrator user.
This vulnerability is due to improper management of the Cisco ASDM SSO token. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by performing session token forgery techniques. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to log in as the administrator user and, by repeating this action, keep legitimate administrators locked out of the ASDM indefinitely. |
| A vulnerability in the certification authentication feature of Internet Key Exchange version 2 (IKEv2) for Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload unexpectedly.
This vulnerability is due to a logic error during the certificate authentication phase of the IKEv2 connection setup. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by attempting to establish an IKEv2 VPN connection with a crafted certificate. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the IKEv2 process to crash, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. |
| DD-WRT firmware, as deployed on TP-Link TL-WR740N v1 through v4 hardware, stores sensitive authentication credentials in cleartext within non-volatile memory. The exposed material includes SSH private keys, dynamic DNS passwords, email notification credentials and administrative passwords. An attacker with physical access to the device can extract these credentials from an SPI flash dump, leading to device compromise, infiltration of the connected network and unauthorised access to dependent third-party services. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco ThousandEyes Virtual Appliance could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to inject arbitrary operating system commands.
This vulnerability is due to improper validation of user-supplied input to the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by saving configuration details that contain malicious values. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary operating system commands with root privileges. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. |
| A vulnerability in Cisco Secure FMC Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands at the root privilege level.
This vulnerability is due to unsecured deserialization of web-management user-controlled data. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to the device and sending a crafted HTTP payload. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to save the crafted payload and then execute it on the underlying operating system as root.
To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid credentials for a user account with at least the role of Security Analyst (read-only). |

| A vulnerability in Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of an affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid high-privileged administrative credentials.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain system-level access to the underlying operating system and then elevate privileges to root. In single-node deployments, successful exploitation of this vulnerability could cause the affected ISE node to become unavailable, resulting in a DoS condition. In that condition, endpoints that have not already authenticated would be unable to access the network until the node is restored. |
| A vulnerability in the sftunnel inter-device communication protocol of Cisco Secure FMC Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to obtain root privileges.
This vulnerability is due to unsecured deserialization of untrusted data over the sftunnel management connection. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted sftunnel remote procedure calls (RPCs). A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain root privileges on a device that is running Cisco Secure FMC Software and its high-availability peer.
To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials on a managed Cisco FTD device. |

| A vulnerability in the sftunnel inter-device communication protocol of Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands as root.
This vulnerability exists because a registered sftunnel peer has incorrect permissions to write an arbitrary file to any location on the device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hijacking the sftunnel communication connection or being a valid registered sftunnel peer and sending an sftunnel command to write a malicious file to the disk of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to write a file to the device that is executed with root privileges. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid user credentials on the affected device. |
| Improper validation of pod identifier uniqueness in aws-network-policy-agent in Amazon EKS Network Policy Agent before v1.4.0 might allow an authenticated remote user to bypass NetworkPolicy enforcement on co-located pods in other namespaces via crafted pod and namespace names that produce pod identifier collisions.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to Amazon EKS Network Policy Agent 1.4.0 or later and Amazon VPC CNI Managed Add-on v1.22.4 or later (which includes Network Policy Agent v1.4.0). |
