CVSS v3.1 |
Race condition in the grant table code in Xen 4.6.x through 4.9.x allows local guest OS administrators to cause a denial of service (free list corruption and host crash) or gain privileges on the host via vectors involving maptrack free list handling.
In libquicktime 1.2.4, an allocation failure was found in the function quicktime_read_info in lqt_quicktime.c, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted file.
The prepare_vmcs02 function in arch/x86/kvm/vmx.c in the Linux kernel through 4.13.3 does not ensure that the "CR8-load exiting" and "CR8-store exiting" L0 vmcs02 controls exist in cases where L1 omits the "use TPR shadow" vmcs12 control, which allows KVM L2 guest OS users to obtain read and write access to the hardware CR8 register.
The IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform 3.3, 3,4, and 3,5 contain a vulnerability that could allow an authenticated user to execute Application actions they do not have access to. IBM Reference #: 2001083.
Fiyo CMS 2.0.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to gain privileges via a modified level parameter to dapur/ in an app=user&act=edit action.
An issue was discovered in network-manager-applet (aka network-manager-gnome) in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, 14.04 LTS, 16.04 LTS, and 16.10. A local attacker could use this issue at the default Ubuntu login screen to access local files and execute arbitrary commands as the lightdm user. The exploitation requires physical access to the locked computer and the Wi-Fi must be turned on. An access point that lets you use a certificate to login is required as well, but it's easy to create one. Then, it's possible to open a nautilus window and browse directories. One also can open some applications such as Firefox, which is useful for downloading malicious binaries.
IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server 10.0, 11.0, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, and 11.6 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. IBM X-Force ID: 123674.
A SQL injection issue is exploitable, with WordPress admin access, in the Mail Masta (aka mail-masta) plugin 1.0 for WordPress. This affects ./inc/subscriber_list.php with the POST Parameter: list_id.
IBM BigFix Compliance (TEMA SUAv1 SCA SCM) uses an inadequate account lockout setting that could allow a remote attacker to brute force account credentials. IBM X-Force ID: 123672.
IBM BigFix Compliance (TEMA SUAv1 SCA SCM) 1.9.70 does not require that users should have strong passwords by default, which makes it easier for attackers to compromise user accounts. IBM X-Force ID: 123671.
IBM Curam Social Program Management 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, and 7.0 could allow a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks, using an open redirect attack. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web site, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to spoof the URL displayed to redirect a user to a malicious Web site that would appear to be trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain highly sensitive information or conduct further attacks against the victim. IBM X-Force ID: 123670.
The Microsoft Malware Protection Engine running on Microsoft Forefront and Microsoft Defender on Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, 1709 and Windows Server 2016, Windows Server, version 1709, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 and 2016, does not properly scan a specially crafted file leading to remote code execution. aka "Microsoft Malware Protection Engine Remote Code Execution Vulnerability". This is different than CVE-2017-11937.

Heap-based buffer overflow in the parse_unicode_node function in bplist.c in libimobiledevice libplist 1.12 allows local users to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write) and possibly code execution via a crafted plist file.
The compile_tree function in ef_compiler.c in the Etterfilter utility in Ettercap 0.8.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted filter.
| ChakraCore, and Internet Explorer in Microsoft Windows 7 SP1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, 1703, 1709, and Windows Server 2016 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user, due to how the scripting engine handles objects in memory, aka "Scripting Engine Memory Corruption Vulnerability".
