CVSS v3.1 |
| make-initrd-ng is a tool for copying binaries and their dependencies. Local privilege escalation affecting all NixOS users. With systemd.shutdownRamfs.enable enabled (the default) a local user is able to create a program that will be executed by root during shutdown. Patches exist for NixOS 24.11 and 25.05 / unstable. As a workaround, set systemd.shutdownRamfs.enable = false;. |
| pleezer is a headless Deezer Connect player. Hook scripts in pleezer can be triggered by various events like track changes and playback state changes. In versions before 0.16.0, these scripts were spawned without proper process cleanup, leaving zombie processes in the system's process table. Even during normal usage, every track change and playback event would leave behind zombie processes. This leads to inevitable resource exhaustion over time as the system's process table fills up, eventually preventing new processes from being created. The issue is exacerbated if events occur rapidly, whether through normal use (e.g., skipping through a playlist) or potential manipulation of the Deezer Connect protocol traffic. This issue has been fixed in version 0.16.0. |
| Argo Events is an event-driven workflow automation framework for Kubernetes. A user with permission to create/modify EventSource and Sensor custom resources can gain privileged access to the host system and cluster, even without having direct administrative privileges. The EventSource and Sensor CRs allow the corresponding orchestrated pod to be customized with spec.template and spec.template.container (with type k8s.io/api/core/v1.Container), thus, any specification under container such as command, args, securityContext , volumeMount can be specified, and applied to the EventSource or Sensor pod. With these, a user would be able to gain privileged access to the cluster host, if he/she specified the EventSource/Sensor CR with some particular properties under template. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.9.6. |
| SAP S/4HANA landscape SAP E-Recruiting BSP allows an unauthenticated attacker to craft malicious links, when clicked the victim could be redirected to the page controlled by the attacker. This has low impact on confidentiality and integrity of the application with no impact on availability. |
| A Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in SUSE rancher in RoleTemplateobjects when external=true is set can lead to privilege escalation in specific scenarios. This issue affects rancher: from 2.7.0 before 2.7.14, from 2.8.0 before 2.8.5. |
| Use of Multiple Resources with Duplicate Identifier (CWE-694) in the Controller 6000 and Controller 7000 Platforms could allow an attacker with physical access to HBUS communication cabling to perform a Denial-of-Service attack against HBUS connected devices, require a device reboot to resolve.
This issue affects: Controller 6000 and Controller 7000 firmware versions 9.10 prior to vCR9.10.241108a (distributed in 9.10.2149 (MR4)), 9.00 prior to vCR9.00.241108a (distributed in 9.00.2374 (MR5)), 8.90 prior to vCR8.90.241107a (distributed in 8.90.2356 (MR6)), all versions of 8.80 and prior. |
| Path Traversal in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 allows an unauthenticated attacker to read system files. Fixed in version 3.68.1. |
| PaperCut Print Deploy is an optional component that integrates with PaperCut NG/MF which simplifies printer deployment and management. When the component is deployed to an environment, the customer has an option to configure the system to use a self-signed certificate. If the customer does not fully configure the system to leverage the trust database on the clients, it opens up the communication between clients and the server to man-in-the-middle attacks.
It was discovered that certain parts of the documentation related to the configuration of SSL in Print Deploy were lacking, which could potentially contribute to a misconfiguration of the Print Deploy client installation. PaperCut strongly recommends to use valid certificates to secure installations and to follow the updated documentation to ensure the correct SSL configuration. Those who use private CAs and/or self-signed certificates should make sure to copy their Certification Authority certificate, or their self signed certificate if using only one, to the trust store of their operating system and to the Java key store |
| TEIGarage is a webservice and RESTful service to transform, convert and validate various formats, focussing on the TEI format. The Document Conversion Service contains a critical XML External Entity (XXE) Injection vulnerability in its document conversion functionality. The service processes XML files during the conversion process but fails to disable external entity processing, allowing an attacker to read arbitrary files from the server's filesystem. This vulnerability could allow attackers to read sensitive files from the server's filesystem, potentially exposing configuration files, credentials, or other confidential information. Additionally, depending on the server configuration, this could potentially be used to perform server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks by making the server connect to internal services. This issue is patched in version 1.2.4. A workaround for this vulnerability includes disabling external entity processing in the XML parser by setting the appropriate security features (e.g., XMLConstants.FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING). |
| A vulnerability was identified in NeuVector, where the enforcer used environment variables CLUSTER_RPC_PORT and CLUSTER_LAN_PORT to generate a command to be executed via popen, without first sanitising their values.
The entry process of the enforcer container is the monitor
process. When the enforcer container stops, the monitor process checks
whether the consul subprocess has exited. To perform this check, the
monitor process uses the popen function to execute a shell command that determines whether the ports used by the consul subprocess are still active.
The values of environment variables CLUSTER_RPC_PORT and CLUSTER_LAN_PORT
are used directly to compose shell commands via popen without
validation or sanitization. This behavior could allow a malicious user
to inject malicious commands through these variables within the enforcer
container. |
| A potential security vulnerability has been identified in the System BIOS for some HP PC products which may allow escalation of privilege, arbitrary code execution, denial of service, or information disclosure via a physical attack that requires specialized equipment and knowledge. HP is releasing firmware mitigation for the potential vulnerability. |
| Due to a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver (ABAP Keyword Documentation), an unauthenticated attacker could inject malicious JavaScript into a web page through an unprotected parameter. When a victim accesses the affected page, the script executes in their browser, providing the attacker limited access to restricted information. The vulnerability does not affect data integrity or availability and operates entirely within the context of the client's browser. |
| The /rest/rights/ REST API endpoint in Becon DATAGerry through 2.2.0 contains an Incorrect Access Control vulnerability. An attacker can remotely access this endpoint without authentication, leading to unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information. |
| CWE-20: Improper Input Validation vulnerability exists that could cause Denial of Service when an
authenticated malicious user sends special malformed HTTPS request containing improper formatted body
data to the controller. |
| CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability exists that could cause Denial of Service when an
authenticated malicious user sends manipulated HTTPS Content-Length header to the webserver. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: verify orphan file size is not too big
In principle orphan file can be arbitrarily large. However orphan replay
needs to traverse it all and we also pin all its buffers in memory. Thus
filesystems with absurdly large orphan files can lead to big amounts of
memory consumed. Limit orphan file size to a sane value and also use
kvmalloc() for allocating array of block descriptor structures to avoid
large order allocations for sane but large orphan files. |
| A Improper Neutralization of Script-Related HTML Tags in a Web Page (Basic XSS) vulnerability allows attackers to run arbitrary javascript via a reflected XSS issue in the search fields. This issue affects Container suse/manager/5.0/x86_64/server:latest: from ? before 5.0.28-150600.3.36.8; SUSE Manager Server LTS 4.3: from ? before 4.3.88-150400.3.113.5. |
| Incorrect access control in BYD QIN PLUS DM-i Dilink OS 3.0_13.1.7.2204050.1 allows unauthorized attackers to access system logcat logs. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/msm: Fix bootup splat with separate_gpu_drm modparam
The drm_gem_for_each_gpuvm_bo() call from lookup_vma() accesses
drm_gem_obj.gpuva.list, which is not initialized when the drm driver
does not support DRIVER_GEM_GPUVA feature. Enable it for msm_kms
drm driver to fix the splat seen when msm.separate_gpu_drm=1 modparam
