CVSS v3.1 |
TeX Live through 20170524 does not validate strings before launching the program specified by the BROWSER environment variable, which might allow remote attackers to conduct argument-injection attacks via a crafted URL, related to linked_scripts/context/stubs/unix/mtxrun, texmf-dist/scripts/context/stubs/mswin/mtxrun.lua, and texmf-dist/tex/luatex/lualibs/lualibs-os.lua.
The PSFTPd 10.0.4 Build 729 server does not prevent FTP bounce scans by default. These can be performed using "nmap -b" and allow performing scans via the FTP server.
In HDF5 1.10.1, there is a NULL pointer dereference in the function H5O_pline_decode in the H5Opline.c file in libhdf5.a. For example, h5dump would crash when someone opens a crafted hdf5 file.
The Grand Flagallery plugin before 4.25 for WordPress allows remote attackers to obtain the installation path via a request to (1) flagallery-skins/banner_widget_default/gallery.php or (2) flash-album-gallery/skins/banner_widget_default/gallery.php.
TG Soft Vir.IT eXplorer Lite 8.5.42 allows local users to cause a denial of service (BSOD) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a \\.\Viragtlt DeviceIoControl request of 0x82730030.
buddy-ng.c in Aircrack-ng before 1.2 Beta 3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (segmentation fault) via a response with a crafted length parameter.
TG Soft Vir.IT eXplorer Lite 8.5.42 allows local users to cause a denial of service (BSOD) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a \\.\Viragtlt DeviceIoControl request of 0x82730008, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-16948.
TG Soft Vir.IT eXplorer Lite 8.5.42 allows local users to cause a denial of service (BSOD) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a \\.\Viragtlt DeviceIoControl request of 0x82730074.
TG Soft Vir.IT eXplorer Lite 8.5.42 allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (Arbitrary Write) via a \\.\Viragtlt DeviceIoControl request of 0x82730088.
An issue was discovered in Hanwha Techwin Smart Security Manager Versions 1.5 and prior. Multiple Path Traversal vulnerabilities have been identified. The flaws exist within the ActiveMQ Broker service that is installed as part of the product. By issuing specific HTTP requests, if a user visits a malicious page, an attacker can gain access to arbitrary files on the server. Smart Security Manager Versions 1.4 and prior to 1.31 are affected by these vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities can allow for remote code execution.
Vivo modems allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by reading the index.cgi?page=wifi HTML source code, as demonstrated by ssid and psk_wepkey fields.
IBM Jazz for Service Management (IBM Tivoli Components 1.1.3) is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery which could allow an attacker to execute malicious and unauthorized actions transmitted from a user that the website trusts. IBM X-Force ID: 135519.
Tiandy IP cameras 5.56.17.120 do not properly restrict a certain proprietary protocol, which allows remote attackers to read settings via a crafted request to TCP port 3001, as demonstrated by config* files and extendword.txt.
In Mercurial before 4.4.1, it is possible that a specially malformed repository can cause Git subrepositories to run arbitrary code in the form of a .git/hooks/post-update script checked into the repository. Typical use of Mercurial prevents construction of such repositories, but they can be created programmatically.
Irssi before 1.0.5, while waiting for the channel synchronisation, may incorrectly fail to remove destroyed channels from the query list, resulting in use-after-free conditions when updating the state later on.
The __netlink_deliver_tap_skb function in net/netlink/af_netlink.c in the Linux kernel through 4.14.4, when CONFIG_NLMON is enabled, does not restrict observations of Netlink messages to a single net namespace, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information by leveraging the CAP_NET_ADMIN capability to sniff an nlmon interface for all Netlink activity on the system.
net/netfilter/nfnetlink_cthelper.c in the Linux kernel through 4.14.4 does not require the CAP_NET_ADMIN capability for new, get, and del operations, which allows local users to bypass intended access restrictions because the nfnl_cthelper_list data structure is shared across all net namespaces.
In Heimdal through 7.4, remote unauthenticated attackers are able to crash the KDC by sending a crafted UDP packet containing empty data fields for client name or realm. The parser would unconditionally dereference NULL pointers in that case, leading to a segmentation fault. This is related to the _kdc_as_rep function in kdc/kerberos5.c and the der_length_visible_string function in lib/asn1/der_length.c.
An issue was discovered in the software on Vaultek Gun Safe VT20i products. There is no encryption of the session between the Android application and the safe. The website and marketing materials advertise that this communication channel is encrypted with "Highest Level Bluetooth Encryption" and "Data transmissions are secure via AES256 bit encryption." These claims, however, are not true. Moreover, AES256 bit encryption is not supported in the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard, so it would have to be at the application level. This lack of encryption allows an individual to learn the passcode by eavesdropping on the communications between the application and the safe.
b/libs/gui/ISurfaceComposer.cpp in Android allows attackers to trigger a denial of service (null pointer dereference and process crash).
