| The WebSocket Application Programming Interface lacks restrictions on the number of authentication requests. This absence of rate limiting may allow an attacker to conduct denial-of-service attacks by suppressing or mis-routing legitimate charger telemetry, or conduct brute-force attacks to gain unauthorized access. |
| The WebSocket backend uses charging station identifiers to uniquely associate sessions but allows multiple endpoints to connect using the same session identifier. This implementation results in predictable session identifiers and enables session hijacking or shadowing, where the most recent connection displaces the legitimate charging station and receives backend commands intended for that station. This vulnerability may allow unauthorized users to authenticate as other users or enable a malicious actor to cause a denial-of-service condition by overwhelming the backend with valid session requests. |
| IKUS Rdiffweb before 2.10.5 has an improper authorization flaw that allows an attacker with any valid or stolen access token to act as other users. The API does not enforce binding between the authenticated subject and the targeted user/tenant, so crafted requests can read or modify other users data and, in some cases, perform privileged actions. This issue may enable cross-tenant access. Fixed in version 2.10.6. |
| An issue was discovered in OpenStack Horizon 25.6 and 25.7 before 25.7.3. There is a write operation to the session storage backend before authentication and thus storage can be exhausted by unauthenticated requests. This is a regression of the CVE-2014-8124 fix. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: fix iloc.bh leak in ext4_fc_replay_inode() error paths
During code review, Joseph found that ext4_fc_replay_inode() calls
ext4_get_fc_inode_loc() to get the inode location, which holds a
reference to iloc.bh that must be released via brelse().
However, several error paths jump to the 'out' label without
releasing iloc.bh:
- ext4_handle_dirty_metadata() failure
- sync_dirty_buffer() failure
- ext4_mark_inode_used() failure
- ext4_iget() failure
Fix this by introducing an 'out_brelse' label placed just before
the existing 'out' label to ensure iloc.bh is always released.
Additionally, make ext4_fc_replay_inode() propagate errors
properly instead of always returning 0. |
| WebSocket endpoints lack proper authentication mechanisms, enabling attackers to perform unauthorized station impersonation and manipulate data sent to the backend. An unauthenticated attacker can connect to the OCPP WebSocket endpoint using a known or discovered charging station identifier, then issue or receive OCPP commands as a legitimate charger. Given that no authentication is required, this can lead to privilege escalation, unauthorized control of charging infrastructure, and corruption of charging network data reported to the backend. |

| A flaw was found in the X.Org X server. This out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the XKB geometry processing, specifically within the `CheckSetGeom()` and `XkbAddGeomKeyAlias` functions, allows an attacker to read uninitialized or out-of-bounds memory. | RedisBloom is a probabilistic data structures module for Redis. In all versions of RedisBloom before 2.8.20, the module does not properly validate serialized values processed through the Redis RESTORE command. An authenticated attacker with permission to execute RESTORE on a server with the RedisBloom module loaded can supply a crafted serialized payload that triggers invalid memory access and may lead to remote code execution. A workaround is to restrict access to the RESTORE command with ACL rules. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.20. |

| Redis is an in-memory data structure store. In all versions of redis-server with Lua scripting, an authenticated attacker can exploit the master-replica synchronization mechanism to trigger a use-after-free on replicas where replica-read-only is disabled or can be disabled, which may lead to remote code execution. A workaround is to prevent users from executing Lua scripts or avoid using replicas where replica-read-only is disabled. This is patched in version 8.6.3. |

| nimiq/core-rs-albatross is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. Prior to version 1.3.0, two peer-facing consensus request handlers assume that the history index is always available and call blockchain.history_store.history_index().unwrap() directly. That assumption is false by construction. HistoryStoreProxy::history_index() explicitly returns None for the valid HistoryStoreProxy::WithoutIndex state. when a full node is syncing or otherwise running without the history index, a remote peer can send RequestTransactionsProof or RequestTransactionReceiptsByAddress and trigger an Option::unwrap() panic on the request path. This issue has been patched in version 1.3.0. |
