CVE-2019-18683 6 Broadcom, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 23 Fabric Operating System, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 20 more 2024-08-05 7.0 High
An issue was discovered in drivers/media/platform/vivid in the Linux kernel through 5.3.8. It is exploitable for privilege escalation on some Linux distributions where local users have /dev/video0 access, but only if the driver happens to be loaded. There are multiple race conditions during streaming stopping in this driver (part of the V4L2 subsystem). These issues are caused by wrong mutex locking in vivid_stop_generating_vid_cap(), vivid_stop_generating_vid_out(), sdr_cap_stop_streaming(), and the corresponding kthreads. At least one of these race conditions leads to a use-after-free.
CVE-2019-18282 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 21 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, 8300 and 18 more 2024-08-05 5.3 Medium
The flow_dissector feature in the Linux kernel 4.3 through 5.x before 5.3.10 has a device tracking vulnerability, aka CID-55667441c84f. This occurs because the auto flowlabel of a UDP IPv6 packet relies on a 32-bit hashrnd value as a secret, and because jhash (instead of siphash) is used. The hashrnd value remains the same starting from boot time, and can be inferred by an attacker. This affects net/core/flow_dissector.c and related code.
CVE-2019-18218 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more 2024-08-05 7.8 High
cdf_read_property_info in cdf.c in file through 5.37 does not restrict the number of CDF_VECTOR elements, which allows a heap-based buffer overflow (4-byte out-of-bounds write).
CVE-2019-17498 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 3 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more 2024-08-05 8.1 High
In libssh2 v1.9.0 and earlier versions, the SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT logic in packet.c has an integer overflow in a bounds check, enabling an attacker to specify an arbitrary (out-of-bounds) offset for a subsequent memory read. A crafted SSH server may be able to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service condition on the client system when a user connects to the server.
CVE-2019-17359 4 Apache, Bouncycastle, Netapp and 1 more 21 Tomee, Legion-of-the-bouncy-castle-java-crytography-api, Active Iq Unified Manager and 18 more 2024-08-05 7.5 High
The ASN.1 parser in Bouncy Castle Crypto (aka BC Java) 1.63 can trigger a large attempted memory allocation, and resultant OutOfMemoryError error, via crafted ASN.1 data. This is fixed in 1.64.
CVE-2019-17267 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more 21 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Active Iq Unified Manager and 18 more 2024-08-05 9.8 Critical
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.9.10. It is related to net.sf.ehcache.hibernate.EhcacheJtaTransactionManagerLookup.
CVE-2019-16942 6 Debian, Fasterxml, Fedoraproject and 3 more 37 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Fedora and 34 more 2024-08-05 9.8 Critical
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 through 2.9.10. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the commons-dbcp (1.4) jar in the classpath, and an attacker can find an RMI service endpoint to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload. This issue exists because of org.apache.commons.dbcp.datasources.SharedPoolDataSource and org.apache.commons.dbcp.datasources.PerUserPoolDataSource mishandling.
CVE-2019-16943 6 Debian, Fasterxml, Fedoraproject and 3 more 36 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Fedora and 33 more 2024-08-05 9.8 Critical
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 through 2.9.10. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the p6spy (3.8.6) jar in the classpath, and an attacker can find an RMI service endpoint to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload. This issue exists because of com.p6spy.engine.spy.P6DataSource mishandling.
CVE-2019-16168 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 21 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 18 more 2024-08-05 6.5 Medium
In SQLite through 3.29.0, whereLoopAddBtreeIndex in sqlite3.c can crash a browser or other application because of missing validation of a sqlite_stat1 sz field, aka a "severe division by zero in the query planner."
