CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: buffer: hw-consumer: free scan_mask on buffer release
The scan_mask lifetime changed in commit 9a2e1233d38c ("iio: buffer:
hw-consumer: remove redundant scan_mask flexible array").
Before that change, the scan mask storage was embedded in struct
hw_consumer_buffer, so iio_hw_buf_release() could free the whole
allocation with a single kfree(hw_buf).
That commit moved the scan mask to a separate bitmap_zalloc() allocation
stored in buffer.scan_mask, but left iio_hw_buf_release() unchanged.
Free the scan mask in iio_hw_buf_release() before freeing the buffer
wrapper. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: ymfpci: check snd_ctl_new1() return value
snd_ctl_new1() can return NULL when memory allocation fails.
snd_ymfpci_create_spdif_controls() does not check the return value
before dereferencing kctl->id.device, which can lead to a NULL pointer
dereference.
Add NULL checks after snd_ctl_new1() calls and return -ENOMEM if any
fails. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ACPI: NFIT: core: Fix possible NULL pointer dereference
After commit 9b311b7313d6 ("ACPI: NFIT: Install Notify() handler before
getting NFIT table"), acpi_nfit_probe() installs an ACPI notify handler
for the NFIT device before checking the presence of the NFIT table. If
that table is not there, 0 is returned without allocating the acpi_desc
object and setting the driver data pointer of the NFIT device. If the
platform firmware triggers an NFIT_NOTIFY_UC_MEMORY_ERROR notification
on the NFIT device at that point, acpi_nfit_uc_error_notify() will
dereference a NULL pointer.
Prevent that from occurring by adding an acpi_desc check against NULL
to acpi_nfit_uc_error_notify(). |
| Use after free in Views in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/hyperv: validate VMBus packet size in receive callback
hyperv_receive_sub() reads msg->vid_hdr.type and dispatches into one
of four message-type branches without knowing how many bytes the host
wrote into hv->recv_buf. The completion path then runs
memcpy(hv->init_buf, msg, VMBUS_MAX_PACKET_SIZE), so the consumer that
wakes on wait_for_completion_timeout() can read up to 16 KiB of
residue from a prior message as if it were the response payload.
Pass bytes_recvd into hyperv_receive_sub() and reject any packet that
does not cover the pipe + synthvid header. A single switch on
msg->vid_hdr.type then computes the type-specific payload size: the
three completion-driving types (SYNTHVID_VERSION_RESPONSE,
SYNTHVID_RESOLUTION_RESPONSE, SYNTHVID_VRAM_LOCATION_ACK) fall through
to a shared exit that requires that size before memcpy/complete, while
SYNTHVID_FEATURE_CHANGE validates its own payload and returns before
reading is_dirt_needed. Unknown types are dropped.
SYNTHVID_RESOLUTION_RESPONSE is variable length: the host fills
resolution_count entries, not the full SYNTHVID_MAX_RESOLUTION_COUNT
array. Validate the fixed prefix first so resolution_count can be
read, bound it against the array, then require only the count-sized
array, so the shorter responses the host actually sends are accepted.
Only run the sub-handler when vmbus_recvpacket() returned success. The
memcpy length is bytes_recvd, which is bounded by VMBUS_MAX_PACKET_SIZE
only on a successful receive; on -ENOBUFS vmbus_recvpacket() instead
reports the required length, which can exceed hv->recv_buf, so copying
bytes_recvd would read and write past the 16 KiB buffers. Gating on the
success return keeps the copy bounded. The nonzero-return path is itself
a malformed-message case and is now logged rather than silently skipped;
channel recovery is not attempted.
Rejected packets are reported via drm_err_ratelimited() rather than
silently dropped, matching the CoCo-hardened pattern in
hv_kvp_onchannelcallback(). |
| A malicious actor with access to the network could exploit a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability found in UniFi Talk Application to execute a Denial of Service (DoS) attack and bypass authentication in certain UniFi Talk API endpoints. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xhci: sideband: fix ring sg table pages leak
xhci_ring_to_sgtable() allocates a temporary pages array and
uses it to build the returned sg_table with
sg_alloc_table_from_pages().
The error paths free the pages array, but the success path
returns the sg_table without freeing it. This leaks the temporary
array every time a sideband client gets an endpoint or event ring
buffer.
Free the pages array after sg_alloc_table_from_pages() succeeds.
The returned sg_table has its own scatterlist entries and does not
depend on the temporary array after construction. |
| decompress before 4.2.2 allows arbitrary hardlink creation during archive extraction, enabling file read disclosure and file corruption. When processing hardlink entries (type === 'link'), the x.linkname field from the archive is passed directly to fs.link() without validation (index.js line 113). An attacker can craft an archive with a hardlink entry whose linkname is an absolute path to any file on the same filesystem. This creates a hardlink inside the extraction directory that shares the same inode as the target file, enabling both reading and overwriting the original file's content. Hardlinks are limited to files on the same filesystem and cannot target directories. |
| MERCURY MIPC252W IP camera v1.0.5 Build 230306 Rel.79931n does not implement nonce expiration in RTSP Digest authentication. An adjacent network attacker can capture a legitimate authentication exchange and replay the nonce and response values in a new connection to bypass authentication without knowledge of the device credentials, gaining unauthorized access to the live video stream. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: cmipci: check snd_ctl_new1() return value
snd_ctl_new1() can return NULL when memory allocation fails.
snd_cmipci_spdif_controls() does not check the return value before
dereferencing kctl->id.device, which can lead to a NULL pointer
dereference.
Add NULL checks after snd_ctl_new1() calls and return -ENOMEM if any
fails. |
| In versions up to and including 4.5.29 (4.x branch) and 5.1.4 (5.x branch), the WebClientSession component of Eclipse Vert.x Web Client does not validate that the Domain attribute of a Set-Cookie response header matches the originating server's domain, in violation of RFC 6265 section 5.3.
An attacker who controls any server that the victim application contacts can inject a cookie scoped to an arbitrary third-party domain; because the session store performs no cross-domain ownership check, it stores and later transmits that cookie to the targeted domain.
When the victim application subsequently sends a request to the targeted domain using the same WebClientSession, it presents the attacker-injected cookie, causing the receiving service to process the request under the attacker's account. Sensitive data included in the victim application's requests, such as payment amounts, card details, or other API payloads, may then be accessible to the attacker through their own account on that service. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
HID: lg-g15: cancel pending work on remove to fix a use-after-free
lg_g15_data is allocated with devm and holds a work item. The report
handlers schedule that work straight from device input.
lg_g15_event() and lg_g15_v2_event() do it on the backlight cycle key,
and lg_g510_leds_event() does it too. The worker dereferences the
lg_g15_data back through container_of.
The driver had no remove callback and never cancelled the work. So if a
report scheduled the work and the keyboard was then unplugged, devres
freed lg_g15_data while the work was still pending or running, and the
worker touched freed memory. This is a use-after-free. It is reachable
as a race on device unplug.
Add a remove callback that cancels the work before devres frees the
state. g15->work is only initialized for the models that schedule it
(G15, G15 v2, G510). The G13 and Z-10 leave it zeroed, so guard the
cancel on g15->work.func to avoid cancelling a work that was never set
up. The g15 NULL test mirrors the one already in lg_g15_raw_event(). |
| jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. From 2.15.0 until 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4, Java Records using a PropertyNamingStrategy can bypass @JsonIgnore because POJOPropertiesCollector._removeUnwantedIgnorals() records an ignored component under its original implicit name before _renameUsing() applies the naming strategy, allowing the renamed JSON key to be assigned to the Record constructor parameter. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4. |
| Suna before 0.9.102 contains a broken access control vulnerability in the message queue API that allows authenticated attackers to access and manipulate queue resources belonging to other users by exploiting missing ownership and account isolation checks. Attackers can read pending prompt queues of all users, read or delete individual sessions, and inject arbitrary prompts into another user's session queue, causing the background drainer to forward malicious messages to the victim's running AI agent with the victim's credentials and permissions. |
| Jan through 0.8.4, fixed in commit 3e1c1e7, contains a CORS misconfiguration vulnerability in its local API server that allows network-adjacent attackers to bypass trusted host restrictions by exploiting the server's replacement of user-configured trusted hosts with a wildcard that reflects arbitrary origins with credentials. Attackers on the local network or using DNS rebinding can reach the unauthenticated OpenAI-compatible API to perform inference, enumerate models, invoke MCP tools, and read cross-origin responses. |
| Heap buffer overflow in libyuv in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted video file. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Use after free in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Inappropriate implementation in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker to bypass same origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Inappropriate implementation in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Hono before 4.11.10 contains a timing attack vulnerability in the basicAuth and bearerAuth middlewares due to non-constant-time string comparison in the timingSafeEqual function. Attackers can exploit early termination of string equality checks to infer valid credentials through precise timing measurements. |
