CVE-2023-53532 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-02 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix deinitialization of firmware resources Currently, in ath11k_ahb_fw_resources_init(), iommu domain mapping is done only for the chipsets having fixed firmware memory. Also, for such chipsets, mapping is done only if it does not have TrustZone support. During deinitialization, only if TrustZone support is not there, iommu is unmapped back. However, for non fixed firmware memory chipsets, TrustZone support is not there and this makes the condition check to true and it tries to unmap the memory which was not mapped during initialization. This leads to the following trace - [ 83.198790] Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000008 [ 83.259537] Modules linked in: ath11k_ahb ath11k qmi_helpers .. snip .. CVE-2023-53514 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-02 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpu: host1x: Fix memory leak of device names The device names allocated by dev_set_name() need be freed before module unloading, but they can not be freed because the kobject's refcount which was set in device_initialize() has not be decreased to 0. As comment of device_add() says, if it fails, use only put_device() drop the refcount, then the name will be freed in kobejct_cleanup(). device_del() and put_device() can be replaced with device_unregister(), so call it to unregister the added successfully devices, and just call put_device() to the not added device. Add a release() function to device to avoid null release() function WARNING in device_release(), it's empty, because the context devices are freed together in host1x_memory_context_list_free().
CVE-2023-53511 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring: fix fget leak when fs don't support nowait buffered read Heming reported a BUG when using io_uring doing link-cp on ocfs2. [1] Do the following steps can reproduce this BUG: mount -t ocfs2 /dev/vdc /mnt/ocfs2 cp testfile /mnt/ocfs2/ ./link-cp /mnt/ocfs2/testfile /mnt/ocfs2/testfile.1 umount /mnt/ocfs2 Then umount will fail, and it outputs: umount: /mnt/ocfs2: target is busy. While tracing umount, it blames mnt_get_count() not return as expected. Do a deep investigation for fget()/fput() on related code flow, I've finally found that fget() leaks since ocfs2 doesn't support nowait buffered read. io_issue_sqe |-io_assign_file // do fget() first |-io_read |-io_iter_do_read |-ocfs2_file_read_iter // return -EOPNOTSUPP |-kiocb_done |-io_rw_done |-__io_complete_rw_common // set REQ_F_REISSUE |-io_resubmit_prep |-io_req_prep_async // override req->file, leak happens This was introduced by commit a196c78b5443 in v5.18. CVE-2023-53509 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-02 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: qed: allow sleep in qed_mcp_trace_dump() By default, qed_mcp_cmd_and_union() delays 10us at a time in a loop that can run 500K times, so calls to qed_mcp_nvm_rd_cmd() may block the current thread for over 5s. We observed thread scheduling delays over 700ms in production, with stacktraces pointing to this code as the culprit. qed_mcp_trace_dump() is called from ethtool, so sleeping is permitted. It already can sleep in qed_mcp_halt(), which calls qed_mcp_cmd(). Add a "can sleep" parameter to qed_find_nvram_image() and qed_nvram_read() so they can sleep during qed_mcp_trace_dump(). qed_mcp_trace_get_meta_info() and qed_mcp_trace_read_meta(), called only by qed_mcp_trace_dump(), allow these functions to sleep. I can't tell if the other caller (qed_grc_dump_mcp_hw_dump()) can sleep, so keep b_can_sleep set to false when it calls these functions. An example stacktrace from a custom warning we added to the kernel showing a thread that has not scheduled despite long needing resched: [ 2745.362925,17] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ 2745.362941,17] WARNING: CPU: 23 PID: 5640 at arch/x86/kernel/irq.c:233 do_IRQ+0x15e/0x1a0() [ 2745.362946,17] Thread not rescheduled for 744 ms after irq 99 [ 2745.362956,17] Modules linked in: ... CVE-2023-53506 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-02 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: Do not bother merging very long extents When merging very long extents we try to push as much length as possible to the first extent. However this is unnecessarily complicated and not really worth the trouble. Furthermore there was a bug in the logic resulting in corrupting extents in the file as syzbot reproducer shows. So just don't bother with the merging of extents that are too long together.

CVE-2025-10155 1 Mmaitre314 1 Picklescan 2025-10-02 7.8 High
An Improper Input Validation vulnerability in the scanning logic of mmaitre314 picklescan versions up to and including 0.0.30 allows a remote attacker to bypass pickle files security checks by supplying a standard pickle file with a PyTorch-related file extension. When the pickle file incorrectly considered safe is loaded, it can lead to the execution of malicious code.
CVE-2025-11092 2 D-link, Dlink 3 Dir-823x, Dir-823x, Dir-823x Firmware 2025-10-02 6.3 Medium
A weakness has been identified in D-Link DIR-823X 250416. Affected by this issue is the function sub_412E7C of the file /goform/set_switch_settings. This manipulation of the argument port causes command injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited.
CVE-2025-11095 2 D-link, Dlink 3 Dir-823x, Dir-823x, Dir-823x Firmware 2025-10-02 6.3 Medium
A vulnerability was detected in D-Link DIR-823X 250416. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /goform/delete_offline_device. CVE-2025-10156 1 Mmaitre314 1 Picklescan 2025-10-02 9.8 Critical
An Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the ZIP archive scanning component of mmaitre314 picklescan allows a remote attacker to bypass security scans. This is achieved by crafting a ZIP archive containing a file with a bad Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC), which causes the scanner to halt and fail to analyze the contents for malicious pickle files. When the file incorrectly considered safe is loaded, it can lead to the execution of malicious code.
