In PHP versions before 7.4.31, 8.0.24 and 8.1.11, the vulnerability enables network and same-site attackers to set a standard insecure cookie in the victim's browser which is treated as a `__Host-` or `__Secure-` cookie by PHP applications.
CVE-2018-6553 | 3 Canonical, Cups, Debian | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Cups, Debian Linux | 2024-09-16 | N/A |
The CUPS AppArmor profile incorrectly confined the dnssd backend due to use of hard links. A local attacker could possibly use this issue to escape confinement. This flaw affects versions prior to 2.2.7-1ubuntu2.1 in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, prior to 2.2.4-7ubuntu3.1 in Ubuntu 17.10, prior to 2.1.3-4ubuntu0.5 in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, and prior to 1.7.2-0ubuntu1.10 in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
CVE-2020-1968 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fujitsu and 2 more | 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, M10-1 and 22 more | 2024-09-16 | 3.7 Low |
The Raccoon attack exploits a flaw in the TLS specification which can lead to an attacker being able to compute the pre-master secret in connections which have used a Diffie-Hellman (DH) based ciphersuite. In such a case this would result in the attacker being able to eavesdrop on all encrypted communications sent over that TLS connection. The attack can only be exploited if an implementation re-uses a DH secret across multiple TLS connections. Note that this issue only impacts DH ciphersuites and not ECDH ciphersuites. This issue affects OpenSSL 1.0.2 which is out of support and no longer receiving public updates. OpenSSL 1.1.1 is not vulnerable to this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2w (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2v).

An exploitable integer overflow exists in the TIFF loading functionality of the Blender open-source 3d creation suite version 2.78c. A specially crafted '.tif' file can cause an integer overflow resulting in a buffer overflow which can allow for code execution under the context of the application. An attacker can convince a user to use the file as an asset via the sequencer in order to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2017-12100 | 2 Blender, Debian | 2 Blender, Debian Linux | 2024-09-16 | 7.8 High |
An exploitable integer overflow exists in the 'multires_load_old_dm' functionality of the Blender open-source 3d creation suite v2.78c. A specially crafted .blend file can cause an integer overflow resulting in a buffer overflow which can allow for code execution under the context of the application. An attacker can convince a user to open a .blend file in order to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2020-35630 | 2 Cgal, Debian | 2 Computational Geometry Algorithms Library, Debian Linux | 2024-09-16 | 8.8 High |
Multiple code execution vulnerabilities exists in the Nef polygon-parsing functionality of CGAL libcgal CGAL-5.1.1. A specially crafted malformed file can lead to an out-of-bounds read and type confusion, which could lead to code execution. An attacker can provide malicious input to trigger any of these vulnerabilities. An oob read vulnerability exists in Nef_S2/SNC_io_parser.h SNC_io_parser<EW>::read_sface() sfh->center_vertex().
CVE-2019-15795 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Ubuntu | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Python-apt, Python-apt | 2024-09-16 | 4.7 Medium |
python-apt only checks the MD5 sums of downloaded files in `Version.fetch_binary()` and `Version.fetch_source()` of apt/package.py in version 1.9.0ubuntu1 and earlier. This allows a man-in-the-middle attack which could potentially be used to install altered packages and has been fixed in versions 1.9.0ubuntu1.2, 1.6.5ubuntu0.1, 1.1.0~beta1ubuntu0.16.04.7, 0.9.3.5ubuntu3+esm2, and 0.8.3ubuntu7.5.

Potential speculative code store bypass in all supported CPU products, in conjunction with software vulnerabilities relating to speculative execution of overwritten instructions, may cause an incorrect speculation and could result in data leakage.
CVE-2022-2068 | 7 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 49 Sannav, Debian Linux, Fedora and 46 more | 2024-09-16 | 9.8 Critical |
In addition to the c_rehash shell command injection identified in CVE-2022-1292, further circumstances where the c_rehash script does not properly sanitise shell metacharacters to prevent command injection were found by code review. When the CVE-2022-1292 was fixed it was not discovered that there are other places in the script where the file names of certificates being hashed were possibly passed to a command executed through the shell. This script is distributed by some operating systems in a manner where it is automatically executed. On such operating systems, an attacker could execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the script. Use of the c_rehash script is considered obsolete and should be replaced by the OpenSSL rehash command line tool. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.4 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2,3.0.3). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1p (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1o). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zf (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2ze).

CVE-2019-1551 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more | 2024-09-16 | 5.3 Medium |
There is an overflow bug in the x64_64 Montgomery squaring procedure used in exponentiation with 512-bit moduli. No EC algorithms are affected. Analysis suggests that attacks against 2-prime RSA1024, 3-prime RSA1536, and DSA1024 as a result of this defect would be very difficult to perform and are not believed likely. Attacks against DH512 are considered just feasible. However, for an attack the target would have to re-use the DH512 private key, which is not recommended anyway. Also applications directly using the low level API BN_mod_exp may be affected if they use BN_FLG_CONSTTIME. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1e (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1d). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2u (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2t).

CVE-2018-17937 | 3 Debian, Gpsd Project, Microjson Project | 3 Debian Linux, Gpsd, Microjson | 2024-09-16 | 8.8 High |
gpsd versions 2.90 to 3.17 and microjson versions 1.0 to 1.3, an open source project, allow a stack-based buffer overflow, which may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on embedded platforms via traffic on Port 2947/TCP or crafted JSON inputs.
CVE-2018-1283 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 10 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 7 more | 2024-09-16 | N/A |
In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, when mod_session is configured to forward its session data to CGI applications (SessionEnv on, not the default), a remote user may influence their content by using a "Session" header. This comes from the "HTTP_SESSION" variable name used by mod_session to forward its data to CGIs, since the prefix "HTTP_" is also used by the Apache HTTP Server to pass HTTP header fields, per CGI specifications.
CVE-2018-17199 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 9 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more | 2024-09-16 | N/A |
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4 release 2.4.37 and prior, mod_session checks the session expiry time before decoding the session. This causes session expiry time to be ignored for mod_session_cookie sessions since the expiry time is loaded when the session is decoded.
CVE-2020-3327 | 4 Canonical, Cisco, Debian and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Clam Antivirus, Debian Linux and 1 more | 2024-09-16 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability in the ARJ archive parsing module in Clam AntiVirus (ClamAV) Software versions 0.102.2 could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service condition on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to a heap buffer overflow read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted ARJ file to an affected device. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process crash, resulting in a denial of service condition. |
