CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bridge: Fix sleep in atomic context in sysfs path
Since the start of the git history, brport_store() always acquired the
bridge lock. Back then this decision made sense: The bridge lock
protects the STP state of the bridge and its ports and at that time the
function was only used by two STP related attributes (cost and
priority).
Nowadays, brport_store() processes a lot more attributes and most of
them do not need the bridge lock:
* Bridge flags: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path.
Annotations can be added in net-next.
* FDB port flushing: Only requires the FDB lock.
* Multicast attributes: Only require the multicast lock.
* Group forward mask: Only requires RTNL. Read locklessly by the data
path. Annotations can be added in net-next.
* Backup port: Only requires RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path.
This is a problem as the bridge calls dev_set_promiscuity() when certain
bridge port flags change and this function can sleep since the commit
cited below, resulting in a splat such as [1].
Fix this by reducing the scope of the bridge lock and only take it when
processing the two STP related attributes that require it. Remove the
now stale comment from br_switchdev_set_port_flag(). The
SWITCHDEV_F_DEFER flag can be removed in net-next.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bridge: Fix sleep in atomic context in netlink path
Since the introduction of the netlink configuration path for bridge
ports in commit 25c71c75ac87 ("bridge: bridge port parameters over
netlink"), br_setport() was always called with the bridge lock held
around it. Back then this decision made sense: The bridge lock protects
the STP state of the bridge and its ports and at that time the function
only processed three STP related netlink attributes (cost, priority and
state).
Nowadays, br_setport() processes a lot more attributes and most of them
do not need the bridge lock:
* Bridge flags: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path.
Annotations can be added in net-next.
* FDB port flushing: Only requires the FDB lock.
* Multicast attributes: Only require the multicast lock.
* Group forward mask: Only requires RTNL. Read locklessly by the data
path. Annotations can be added in net-next.
* Backup port and NHID: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data
path.
This is a problem as the bridge calls dev_set_promiscuity() when certain
bridge port flags change and this function can sleep since the commit
cited below, resulting in a splat such as [1].
Fix this by reducing the scope of the bridge lock and only take it when
processing the three STP related attributes that require it. This is
consistent with the multicast attributes where each attribute acquires
the multicast lock instead of having one critical section for all
relevant attributes.

| Ninja Forms plugin for WordPress versions 3.10.4 through 3.14.9 contains an unauthenticated stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Repeatable Fieldset feature where parseSubmissionIndex() accepts arbitrary strings as submission indexes without numeric validation, and admin_form_element() interpolates the index directly into HTML without escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a public form with a crafted repeater child key containing malicious script payloads, which execute in an administrator's browser when viewing submissions in the WordPress admin panel, enabling session-cookie theft, creation of administrator accounts, installation of malicious plugins, and arbitrary modification of site content. |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to version 4.6.40, the fix for GHSA-9mqq-jqxf-grvw / CVE-2026-44336 is incomplete. The original advisory description named four vulnerable handlers in `mcp_server/adapters/cli_tools.py`. Commit `68cc9427` ("fix(security): harden MCP rules path handling…") added a `_resolve_rule_path()` helper and applied it to `rules.create`, `rules.show`, and `rules.delete`. `workflow.show` was left unchanged. Two adjacent handlers in the same file have the same pattern, `workflow.validate` and `deploy.validate`. Neither was mentioned in the original advisory. Both remained unchanged. The original advisory also identified the dispatcher (`server.py:281-298`) as a root cause. It accepts unvalidated `**kwargs` from `params["arguments"]` with no enforcement against the tool's declared `input_schema`. That code is unchanged prior to version 4.6.40. A single unauthenticated MCP `tools/call` to `praisonai.workflow.show` returns the contents of any file the host user can read: `/etc/passwd`, `~/.ssh/id_rsa`, `~/.aws/credentials`, or any project `.env`. Version 4.6.40 contains an updated fix. |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. The v4.6.32 chokepoint refactor (which patched CVE-2026-44334 / GHSA-xcmw-grxf-wjhj) added the PRAISONAI_ALLOW_LOCAL_TOOLS env-var gate to the tool_override.py sinks. However, two additional spec.loader.exec_module call sites in praisonai/agents_generator.py were missed and remain completely unguarded in versions prior to 4.6.40. Both functions accept a module_path parameter sourced from YAML configuration and execute it without validation, signature checking, or the env-var gate. Version 4.6.40 fixes the issue. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ethtool: rss: fix indir_table and hkey leak on get_rxfh failure
rss_prepare_get() allocates the indirection table and hash key buffer
via rss_get_data_alloc(), then calls ops->get_rxfh() to populate them.
If get_rxfh() fails, the function returns an error without freeing
the allocation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/smc: Do not re-initialize smc hashtables
INIT_HLIST_HEAD(&smc_v*_hashinfo.ht) are called after smc_nl_init(),
proto_register() and sock_register(). This can lead to smc_v*_hashinfo.ht
being reset even though hash entries already exist and are being used,
possibly resulting in a corrupted list.
Remove unnecessary and dangerous re-initialisation of smc_v*_hashinfo.ht in
smc_init(); it is implicitly initialised to zero anyhow. Add
HLIST_HEAD_INIT to the definitions for clarity. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf, skmsg: fix verdict sk_data_ready racing with ktls rx
sk_psock_strp_data_ready() already checks tls_sw_has_ctx_rx() and
defers to psock->saved_data_ready when a TLS RX context is present,
avoiding a conflict with the TLS strparser's ownership of the receive
queue (commit e91de6afa81c, "bpf: Fix running sk_skb program types
with ktls").
sk_psock_verdict_data_ready() has no equivalent guard. When a socket
is inserted into a sockmap (BPF_SK_SKB_VERDICT) before TLS RX is
configured, tls_sw_strparser_arm() saves sk_psock_verdict_data_ready
as rx_ctx->saved_data_ready. On data arrival:
tls_data_ready -> tls_strp_data_ready -> tls_rx_msg_ready
-> saved_data_ready() = sk_psock_verdict_data_ready()
-> tcp_read_skb() drains sk_receive_queue via __skb_unlink()
without calling tcp_eat_skb(), so copied_seq is not advanced.
tls_strp_msg_load() then finds tcp_inq() >= full_len (stale), calls
tcp_recv_skb() on the now-empty queue, hits WARN_ON_ONCE(!first), and
returns with rx_ctx->strp.anchor.frag_list pointing at a psock-owned
(potentially freed) skb. tls_decrypt_sg() subsequently walks that
frag_list: use-after-free.
Apply the same fix as sk_psock_strp_data_ready(): if a TLS RX context
is present, call psock->saved_data_ready (sock_def_readable) to wake
recv() waiters and return immediately, leaving the receive queue
untouched. TLS retains sole ownership of the queue and decrypts the
record normally through tls_sw_recvmsg(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: bounds-check link_id in ieee80211_ml_epcs
IEEE80211_MLE_STA_EPCS_CONTROL_LINK_ID is 0x000f, so link_id extracted
from a PRIO_ACCESS ML element PER_STA_PROFILE subelement can be 0..15.
sdata->link[] has IEEE80211_MLD_MAX_NUM_LINKS (15) entries (indices 0..14),
making index 15 out-of-bounds.
A connected WiFi 7 AP can trigger this by sending an EPCS Enable Response
action frame with a PER_STA_PROFILE subelement where link_id = 15. The
unsolicited-notification path (dialog_token = 0) is reachable any time
EPCS is already enabled, without any prior client request.
sdata->link[15] reads into the first word of sdata->activate_links_work
(a wiphy_work whose embedded list_head is non-NULL after INIT_LIST_HEAD),
so the NULL check on the result does not catch the invalid access. The
garbage pointer is then passed to ieee80211_sta_wmm_params(), which
dereferences link->sdata and crashes the kernel.
The same class of bug was fixed for ieee80211_ml_reconfiguration() by
commit 162d331d833d ("wifi: mac80211: bounds-check link_id in
ieee80211_ml_reconfiguration"). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
erofs: fix managed cache race for unaligned extents
After unaligned compressed extents were introduced, the following race
could occur:
[Thread 1] [Thread 2]
(z_erofs_fill_bio_vec)
<handle a Z_EROFS_PREALLOCATED_FOLIO folio>
...
filemap_add_folio (1)
(z_erofs_bind_cache)
<the same folio is found..>
..
..
folio_attach_private (2)
filemap_add_folio (3) again
Since (1) is executed but (2) hasn't been executed yet, it's possible
that another thread finds the same managed folio in z_erofs_bind_cache()
for a different pcluster and calls filemap_add_folio() again since
folio->private is still Z_EROFS_PREALLOCATED_FOLIO.
Fix this by explicitly clearing folio->private before making the folio
visible in the managed cache so that another pcluster can simply wait
on the locked managed folio as what we did for other shared cases [1].
This only impacts unaligned data compression (`-E48bit` with zstd,
for example).
[1] Commit 9e2f9d34dd12 ("erofs: handle overlapped pclusters out of
crafted images properly") was originally introduced to handle crafted
overlapped extents, but it addresses unaligned extents as well. |
| Path traversal in the sshd-scp component of Apache MINA SSHD. Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH.
The implementation of receiving files or directories via SCP did not validate filenames in SCP "C" or "D" commands. A malicious sender could send filenames containing paths, resulting in files to be written in attacker-controlled places.
The issue affects only
* applications that use no longer supported Apache MINA SSHD versions < 2.0.0 and use the SCP functions to receive files,
* or applications using sshd-scp in Apache MINA SSHD >= 2.0.0 to receive files.
Applications using Apache MINA SSHD >= 2.0.0 not using sshd-scp are not affected.
The issue is fixed in Apache MINA 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M5. Affected applications are advised to upgrade to these versions. |
| SolarWinds Serv-U was found to be affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that could lead to session hijacking or information disclosure from an administrator account. |
| SolarWinds Serv-U is affected by an insecure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerability that can lead to privilege escalation to a system administrator with the ability to execute commands as the root user. This issue requires a domain account with administrator access. The impact is lower in Windows deployments. |
| SolarWinds Serv-U is affected by a broken access control vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file read and write, which can then be used to escalate privileges and execute code as root. A domain administrator access is required, and the impact is lower in Windows installations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/statmount: fix slab out-of-bounds write in statmount_mnt_idmap
statmount_mnt_idmap() writes one mapping with seq_printf() and then
manually advances seq->count to include the NUL separator.
If seq_printf() overflows, seq_set_overflow() sets seq->count to
seq->size. The manual seq->count++ changes this to seq->size + 1.
seq_has_overflowed() then no longer detects the overflow. The corrupted
count returns to statmount_string(), which later executes:
seq->buf[seq->count++] = '\0';
This causes a 1-byte NULL out-of-bounds write on the dynamically
allocated seq buffer.
Fix this by checking for overflow immediately after seq_printf(). |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to version 4.6.40 of PraisonAI, corresponding to version 1.6.40 of praisonaiagents, PraisonAI's direct-prompt CLI automatically expands `@url:` mentions in raw prompt text before agent execution begins. If a prompt contains `@url:<http-or-https-url>`, the CLI calls `MentionsParser.process(...)`. The `@url:` handler then performs a direct `urllib.request.urlopen()` request to the attacker-controlled URL and returns the response body. That response body is prepended to the final model prompt context. There is no loopback/private-address restriction, no metadata-service restriction, and no approval gate before the fetch. As a result, attacker-influenced prompt text can cause the operator's machine to fetch localhost-only HTTP resources and inject the response into model context. PraisonAI version 4.6.40 and praisonaiagents version 1.6.40 contain a fix. |
